Boldin had his best season with the Ravens last year, finishing with 65 receptions for 921 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games. All three were season highs for him in his three years with the Ravens. He did a lot of damage in the Ravens Super Bowl run, though, having two 100-yard games in four games. He had 22 receptions for 380 yards and four touchdowns during the playoffs. Boldin heads to a new team this season, though, getting dealt to the 49ers. He'll serve as the top possession receiver in this offense, an emerging offense. Boldin is a big, strong receiver. He isn't a speed demon, but runs good routes and has solid hands. He is 32 years old, but has taken a lot of punishment through the years, which is a concern going forward. How much does he have left?

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Boldin won't get you many touchdowns, but will finish with decent reception and yardage totals. Just don't overvalue him based on past seasons. He is going to be good for about 60 catches for 900 yards and five or so touchdowns, making him a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin said he already feels comfortable in the offense after participating in organized team activities Tuesday, May 28. Boldin said he's run many of the same routes and plays in the team's complicated version of the West Coast offense, and he's just working on the terminology now. QB Colin Kaepernick has already enjoyed throwing to Boldin and has made him his first read often. 'I guess I'm looked at as being able to step in right now and make plays,' Boldin said. 'And that's what I want to bring. I want Kaep to be comfortable. I want the other quarterbacks to be comfortable enough to, even if it doesn't look like I'm open, just give me a chance. I'll make a play for you.'

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin was the top target of all four quarterbacks during organized team activities (OTAs) Tuesday, May 28, including several passes from QB Colin Kaepernick. Boldin has been a quick study. 'You got a good look at what he's been doing,' head coach Jim Harbaugh said. 'He's picked up the system fast and making plays, big catches in tight areas.'

San Francisco 49ers WRs Chad Hall and A.J. Jenkins worked with WR Anquan Boldin during the two-minute drill at organized team activities (OTAs) Tuesday, May 28. So far, however, WRs Ricardo Lockette, Marlon Moore and Quinton Patton have also rotated with Hall and Jenkins during drills, and no one receiver appears to be getting the lion's share of reps opposite Boldin, as the jobs behind the veteran are viewed as wide open.

WR Mario Manningham (knee) will be trying to hold off challenges from WR A.J. Jenkins, rookie WR Quinton Patton and WR Kyle Williams (knee). WRs Ricardo Lockette, Chad Hall, Joseph Hastings, Marlon Moore, Chuck Jacobs and B.J. Daniels are also in the mix for roster spots, as the team is rather deep at the position.

San Francisco 49ers WR Anquan Boldin described his trade from the Baltimore Ravens as bittersweet; however, he has no regrets about his time spent with the organization. 'I always felt that when I signed with Baltimore, that would be the last place I would call home in the NFL,' Boldin said. 'But my memories there are great. I have no regrets. I was brought to Baltimore to help win a championship. In February, we came home champions. As far as on the field, I don't feel like I left anything behind.'
