Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell said WR Jacoby Jones is in great shape to have an expanded role in the offense. "He can catch and he can run," Caldwell said.
Fantasy Impact: Jones has a chance for a much bigger role this year but nothing is 100 percent certain with him. He'll have to earn his playing time.
The Baltimore Ravens will continue to search for a wide receiver this offseason after trading WR Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers. 'I think the hunt goes on,' assistant general manager Eric DeCosta said. 'We're still working. The roster is not set. We're always evaluating. We're always looking at guys. Guys get signed, guys get cut ... Our pro personnel department looks at all available players and we'll make a decision at some point of what we want to do at that position. There are definitely some players out there. We'll consider all options.' The Ravens are also banking on increased production from several wide receivers, including WR Jacoby Jones.

Baltimore Ravens WR Jacoby Jones said he does not think he deserved the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award even though he recorded 290 all-purpose yards during the game. 'No. I just played my role,' Jones said. 'I did my job that I was supposed to do. When they call your name, you have to show up and play your role. I played my role. [QB Joe Flacco] deserves it because if you see what he did in that postseason, he threw 11 touchdowns and no picks.'

Baltimore Ravens WR Jacoby Jones, who had 290 all-purpose yards to establish a new Super Bowl record for total yardage, said Wednesday, Feb. 6, that he wants to finish his career with the team. 'I want to retire here,' Jones said. He is due a $1 million roster bonus March 16, and he's due $3 million base salary with a $4.9 million salary cap figure. He has a $500,000 escalator clause triggered by total receptions.
