Notes
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived Danny Ware Thursday, April. 4.
Fantasy Impact: Ware should be able to find work with some team as a reserve back but don't expect much playing time.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB LeQuan Lewis (knee), DT Roy Miller (head) and RB Danny Ware (illness) all did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan has a comfort level with RB Danny Ware from their time together with the New York Giants. 'He's hitting the ground running,' Sullivan said. 'I certainly have a comfort level being with him all those years in New York in pressure situations - third down, two-minute, etc.'

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed free-agent RB Danny Ware (Giants) Saturday, Sept. 1.
Fantasy Impact: He could get a little work in a third-down role but don't expect much.

The New York Giants have been using RB Danny Ware as the third-down back this preseason, even with RB David Wilson in the lineup, which likely signals what the team thinks about Ware - and maybe Wilson - in pass protection.

New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw is at the top of the pecking order at running back in training camp, followed by RB Danny Ware, Andre Brown, Da'Rel Scott and David Wilson.

New York Giants RBs Andre Brown, Da'Rel Scott and Danny Ware have done little to distinguish themselves in the race for the primary backup job to RB Ahmad Bradshaw. They'll have rookie RB David Wilson pushing them for the job in training camp and the preseason.

New York Giants RB Danny Ware may have an advantage over RB David Wilson for the No. 2 running back spot entering training camp because of his experience in the offense. If Ware does get the job, the team will wait to give Wilson the job until they trust that he is ready to handle to role.
Fantasy Impact: We would expect Wilson to take the backup role at some point, though. He has a lot of upside.

The New York Giants learned RB Andre Brown will be suspended four games for violating the league policy on performance-enhancing substances late this week. After RB Ahmad Bradshaw, they have RBs Danny Ware and Da'Rel Scott on the roster. Brown was expected to have a chance to compete for the No. 2 job, replacing the departed RB Brandon Jacobs (49ers). The team is now likely to have to draft a running back, or sign a cheap option via free agency.
