The Cleveland Browns have re-signed free-agent RB Chris Ogbonnaya to a two-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Cleveland Browns RB Trent Richardson (chest, rib) will wear a flak jacket in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. Richardson is expected to start in the game, and he said the extra padding won't change his rushing style. 'My game's not going to be no different,' Richardson said. 'I'm still going to play physical and play hard-nosed football, smash-mouth football. That's what I was brought up to do, and that's how I know how to play football.' RBs Montario Hardesty and Chris Ogbonnaya will step in if Richardson is limited at all, and head coach Pat Shurmur is confident in the backups if needed.

Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur used RB Chris Ogbonnaya in certain passing situations in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The team now has four healthy running backs, and plan to carry them all. Ogbonnaya was inactive in Week 1.
