The San Diego Chargers placed LB Donald Butler (elbow) on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Dec. 15. They also signed practice squad CB Greg Ducre to their active roster and free-agent QB Brad Sorensen (Titans) to their practice squad. The terms of Ducre's deal were not disclosed.

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers LB Donald Butler has a multi-tiered deal with the team. The first three years of the deal are worth just under $20 million. The team has an option for four more years worth $8-$9.5 million per season. Butler will earn just under $12 million in 2014 and $15 million over the next two years. If team picks up the option, he's guaranteed just under $15 million in the first year of the option years.
