Notes
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley (hamstring), TE Jake Ballard (ankle) and CB Alfonzo Dennard (shoulder) were injured during OTA practice Tuesday, June 4. Ridley pulled up with a right hamstring injury. Ballard hurt his left ankle attempting to make a catch. Both sat out and watched the day's remaining workouts, but a source said both escaped serious injury. Dennard, meanwhile, was carted off after hurting his left shoulder during team drills.

New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley has added a 'noticeable amount of muscle' this offseason.
Fantasy Impact: This should help keep him stronger throughout the season. He is the top back for the Patriots.

New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley is projected as the starting two-down running back, with RB Brandon Bolden and LeGarrette Blount challenging for the top spot. RB Shane Vereen is projected as the team's third-down back, with newcomer RB Leon Washington challenging for the job.
Fantasy Impact: Ridley remains the back to own in New England. We expect him to get plenty of work once again.
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley (head) will not return after leaving the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth quarter due to a head injury.

New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley played in just 27 of the team's 66 offensive snaps in the AFC Divisional Round. RB Shane Vereen, in turn, saw an increase in playing time, particularly with the loss of RB Danny Woodhead (thumb) to injury.
Fantasy Impact: Ridley still produced despite the limited playing time. He has produced on a consistent basis all season.
The New England Patriots coaching staff stayed with RB Stevan Ridley in Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite recent fumbling problems. Ridley played the most snaps (35) against the Jaguars, and he finished with 84 yards on 18 carries, and no fumbles.

New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley was on the field for only 19 of 96 offensive snaps in Week 15, but that was mainly due to the fact that New England was down multiple scores and RB Danny Woodhead was the better option with the team needing to pass more often. RB Shane Vereen was on the field for only one play in the second quarter, fumbled, and was benched. RB Brandon Bolden has been used strictly on special teams since he returned from injury.
Fantasy Impact: We still consider Ridley a fine play going forward. He should get much of the load at running back for the Patriots.
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley has fumbled the football three times the past two games, officially losing two of those fumbles. It is not believed, however, the team has lost confidence in Ridley.
Fantasy Impact: He should continue to start and get most of the work in the near future.

New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley only received one snap after fumbling the ball in the third quarter of the team's Week 15 game. The lack of snaps may have occurred because the team had to throw the ball to get back into the game.
