Barden actually had a career high last season in receptions but still caught just 14 passes in 12 games. He had a monster game Week 3, catching nine passes for 138 yards. The rest of his season was uneventful, failing to build on that big game. He didn't top 40 yards in any other game last year. Barden has 29 receptions in four seasons. He hasn't proved to be anything more than depth material, a role he should return this season. Barden is a big (6-6), athletic target that can stretch the field in a hurry because of his size. He struggles with his route running and doesn't have breakaway speed, though.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Barden just hasn't gotten the consistent work to help fantasy teams. He could get a few more chances but don't expect a big surge in production. He isn't worth a roster spot until he starts getting more consistent targets.
