Feeley got some starts for the Rams last season but had his season end early because of a thumb injury. He could have been the starter for about half the season but was limited to five games. Feeley wasn't overly impressive in his five games, though, completing just 55 percent of his passes while having one touchdown to two interceptions. He failed to top 200-passing yards in any game. Before last season, Feeley hadn't attempted a pass in the NFL since 2007. He remains backup material but maybe more so a No. 3 after his showing last season. Feeley has a decent arm, but tends to make some mistakes and misfire on some passes. For his career, Feeley has 28 touchdown passes to 31 interceptions.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Feeley isn't worth draft or a roster spot - even if injury occurs. He showed last season his fantasy value is very limited.

Cleveland Browns general manager Tom Heckert dismissed a report from a Philadelphia sports talk radio host that the team was interested in signing free-agent QB A.J. Feeley (Rams). 'A.J. is one of my good friends, but I haven't talked to A.J. in months,' Heckert said Sunday, Sept. 2. 'I have no idea where that came from. I think we're pretty set (at quarterback). You never say never, but, yeah, we are pretty happy with the position.'
