And I just lost 3 starting pitchers

What a season

Glad I got one more great start from Gilbert on his way out the door. I've been on both sides of these whether it by trading a stud to get better depth, or multiple solid players to get a stud. With injuries or a shocking lack of production (Tatis example), none of us can predict with certainty who is better off in the end until we get there. Good luck to all... and if whoever has Tatis wants to trade him to me, I'll take him. I mean, he is pretty bad right? Oh that's right, baseball is a marathon

Headless...This is a dynasty/keeper league, which entirely changes the dynamics of this kind of trade for an established top 50 overall player (dynasty and overall) in his age 29 season.  I would never trade him without immediately improving my chances to compete.  This trade accomplished that with an owner trading from significant depth on his roster for a player he covets.  I've been on both sides of these kinds of trades.

To everyone, I'm always willing to trade a stud if it helps me improve my roster.

Yeah I get it.

Pitchers for the future at that rate does not matter that he's in his 29 yr old season, he will break down again, It wasn't his below average start but the strained elbow flexor that gives one pause, bus alas, you are correct.

I will say it would never have occured to me to offer that kind of deal.

And I think owners in this league will attest to that.

Hell I'm going to say the best trades I've made in this league were not ones I offered.

My thinking will have to change I guess.

Carry on. I'm just noisy

Jeez

How does that Logan Gilbert trade make any sense at all

What a rip off

Nah seriously that's BS

Any of the 3 even up would have been fair
