Williams' absence would be a significant setback for the Mavericks, as the 25-year-old has looked fantastic in an expanded role this month. Over nine March appearances, Williams has averaged 17.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.7 steals. If Williams can't play on Thursday, Spencer Dinwiddie is likely to have a heavy workload, with Jaden Hardy receiving a bit more action off the bench.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) will not play on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. He has been ruled out for a second consecutive game due to a left ankle sprain.
