Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (knee) is listed as doubtful on the injury report, making it unlikely that he will return to action on Thursday against the Sacramento Kings. He has already missed eight games due to right knee tendinitis. Shaedon Sharpe has nailed down a spot in the starting unit during Grant's absence and will likely receive additional usage again on Thursday night. Kris Murray and Matisse Thybulle can also fill Grant's minutes, but they are far less attractive fantasy options compared to Sharpe, who has posted 18.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in a starting role this season.
Sacramento Kings point guard Devin Carter (illness) is questionable for Thursday night's action against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has been battling an illness for some time. It kept Carter out of the lineup on Monday against the Boston Celtics, but he returned to action on Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, Carter only logged three minutes in the game. Markelle Fultz has played more in recent games, but this has not increased his fantasy value. If Carter gets cleared to play, he could assume a significant role on Thursday, as Malik Monk (illness) may sit out the contest.
Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton (calf) will remain sidelined for Thursday's tilt against the Sacramento Kings. The former first-overall pick last took the court on Feb. 10 and is nursing a left calf strain. On Feb. 12, the team announced that Ayton would be re-evaluated in four weeks, but there have been no updates on him. The big man will sit out a 20th straight game. Donovan Clingan will continue to start at center, with Duop Reath providing backup. Clingan's averages as a starter stand at 7.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks.
Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Toumani Camara (foot) is questionable for Thursday's road contest against the Sacramento Kings. He is dealing with a sore left foot and could be out of action for the second time in six games. When Camara was unavailable against the Washington Wizards on March 17, Kris Murray stepped into the starting lineup. He had a mixed performance, notching only five points but picking up 10 rebounds with four steals. Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups could also use Dalano Banton and Matisse Thybulle more if Camara is unavailable against Sacramento.
Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Caleb Martin (hip) has been tagged as questionable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. He is attempting to return from a right hip strain but may remain sidelined for a sixth consecutive contest. We have seen very little of Martin in a Mavericks jersey, as he has made only five appearances for the team since being acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers. After moving to Texas, he has averaged 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 19.2 minutes. Fantasy managers should not expect too much from Martin, even if he is cleared to play.
Dallas Mavericks point guard Brandon Williams (back) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. He may have to skip the action due to low back tightness. Williams' absence would be a significant setback for the Mavericks, as the 25-year-old has looked fantastic in an expanded role this month. Over nine March appearances, Williams has averaged 17.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.7 steals. If Williams can't play on Thursday, Spencer Dinwiddie is likely to have a heavy workload, with Jaden Hardy receiving a bit more action off the bench.
Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) will not play on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. He has been ruled out for a second consecutive game due to a left ankle sprain. Naji Marshall figures to take on a larger role again with Washington unavailable. He had a career night with 38 points in Tuesday's matchup against the New York Knicks. The 27-year-old has been an efficient scorer throughout the month, notching 22.2 points on 53.7 percent shooting with 7.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.5 steals.
Nuggets' C Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double, finishing with 39 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in a 127-117 win over the Bucks on Wednesday, Mar. 26.
Miami Heat guard/forward Duncan Robinson (back) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Lower back pain sidelined Robinson for Tuesday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors, and he may now miss a second straight contest due to this issue. Alec Burks (back) started in place of Robinson against the Warriors, but he might be unavailable for Thursday's game as well, as Miami has also deemed him questionable. If both Robinson and Burks cannot play against Atlanta, Jaime Jaquez Jr. could be next in line to start.
Miami Heat guard/forward Alec Burks (back) has been labeled questionable for Thursday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks. Filling in for Duncan Robinson (back) in the starting unit on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors, Burks turned some heads with a 17-point effort in 24 minutes. But he may now join Robinson on the sidelines Thursday night due to a back issue. Jaime Jaquez Jr. had just a few minutes on the court against the Warriors, but if both Robinson and Burks can't play on Thursday, he could step up and take on a much more significant role.
Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (illness) is listed as questionable for Thursday's contest against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has missed three games due to an illness, and it's uncertain whether Monk will be able to return on Thursday. Keon Ellis has delivered impressive performances as Monk's replacement in the starting lineup, averaging 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.0 steals. He will remain an intriguing fantasy option on Thursday if Monk is not feeling well enough to play.
Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (back) may have to come out of the lineup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers after the team listed him as questionable for the game. After missing time due to a calf injury, Vucevic has made eight consecutive appearances, but he could be sidelined again as he deals with a mid-back strain. Zach Collins had an impressive stint as a starter while Vucevic was recovering from his calf injury earlier this month. Jalen Smith will also be in line for more usage if Vucevic ends up back on the shelf.
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (toe) is carrying a probable tag on the injury report ahead of Thursday's encounter with the Los Angeles Lakers. White, who has been on a tear lately with three consecutive 35-point efforts, is dealing with a toe injury, but this is not expected to keep him out of the lineup. With Josh Giddey (wrist) and Nikola Vucevic (back) potentially out on Thursday, White may have to do even more on the offensive end against the Lakers.
Chicago Bulls guard/forward Josh Giddey (wrist) is regarded as questionable for Thursday's meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers. Giddey recorded a triple-double against the Lakers in a road win last week, but he might not have the opportunity to repeat the feat due to a wrist injury. The Bulls backcourt has already lost Tre Jones (foot), although Lonzo Ball (wrist) could make his return to the lineup on Thursday. If he indeed replaces Giddey in the lineup, Ball will share playmaking duties with Coby White (toe), who is listed as probable for the game.
Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball (wrist) is considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Ball is expected to return from his wrist injury during the team's two-game homestand, which begins Thursday. He may take the place of Josh Giddey (wrist), who is also listed as questionable for the matchup. Tre Jones (foot) will definitely be sidelined, paving the way for Ball to make an immediate impact. The former Laker averaged 10.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 26.7 minutes last month before injuring his right wrist.
Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (finger) will miss an eighth consecutive game on Thursday against the Miami Heat. After initially missing time for personal reasons, Capela was diagnosed with a ligament injury in the fourth metacarpal of his left hand. Following the diagnosis, he was ruled out for 3-4 weeks, meaning the 2024-25 regular season is likely over for Capela. It has been a disappointing campaign for the Swiss big man, who lost his starting job to Onyeka Okongwu in January. Okongwu has thrived in the role, averaging 14.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, and 1.2 steals. Dominick Barlow and Mouhamed Gueye will take on the backup minutes with Capela unavailable.
Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (Achilles) is probable for Thursday's tilt against the Miami Heat. He will likely be good to go for an eighth consecutive game despite dealing with tendinitis in his right Achilles tendon. This has been a nagging issue for Young throughout the season, but he has put together a strong campaign, averaging a big double-double with 24.1 points and 11.4 assists. Young has had four steaks of at least four consecutive double-doubles and could post a fifth in Thursday's game.
Orlando Magic point guard Cole Anthony (toe) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. It appears likely that Anthony will miss a fifth consecutive game due to a toe strain. As a result, Cory Joseph should retain his position in the starting unit; however, fantasy managers should not overlook Anthony Black, who has been making a significant impact off the bench. Since Anthony was knocked out of the lineup, Black has averaged 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (ankle) will not be in the lineup on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns. Earlier in the day, the team upgraded Tatum's status from doubtful to questionable, but he has now been officially ruled out. This will mark his fourth absence this month. With Tatum unavailable, Al Horford will likely receive an opportunity to start, while the rest of the first unit gets a boost in usage on the offensive end. Horford's numbers have slightly increased across the board as a starter, as he has averaged 9.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
Denver Nuggets guard/forward Christian Braun (foot) has been cleared to play on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks. Initially, there was some uncertainty regarding Braun when the team listed him on the injury report due to a left foot strain. However, Denver has now upgraded Braun's status from probable to available. The Nuggets have received some really efficient performances from Braun throughout the month, as he has averaged 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 56.3 percent from the field, including 47.7 percent from three-point land.
