Rudy Gobert Thu Feb 13 6:40pm

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's meeting with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The French giant is battling back spasms, with the team downgrading his status from questionable to out. Naz Reid already benefits from Julius Randle's (groin) absence and will now get a further boost. The likes of Joe Ingles and Luka Garza may also see more action due to Gobert's absence. However, they should be seen as risky fantasy plays.

Mike Conley Thu Feb 13 6:40pm

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley (finger) will remain in street clothes for Thursday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has been ruled out for a fourth consecutive game after Minnesota initially listed Conley as questionable on the injury report. Conley's injury has increased the fantasy values of Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham. Both players may get an additional boost on Thursday due to Anthony Edwards' (hip) absence. Minnesota's star man is considered a game-time decision for the matchup.

Klay Thompson Thu Feb 13 6:30pm

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Klay Thompson (foot) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Miami Heat after being downgraded from questionable to out. Thompson logged 34 minutes on Wednesday in a special matchup against his former team, the Golden State Warriors, and the Mavericks will manage his workload by giving the veteran the night off against Miami. Kyrie Irving (shoulder) has also been ruled out, which means the Mavericks will enter Thursday's contest without any of their regular starters. Naji Marshall, Dante Exum, Max Christie, and Spencer Dinwiddie could all emerge as key players instead of the usual suspects.

Bam Adebayo Thu Feb 13 6:30pm

Eddie Sefko of the Mavericks' official sitereports that Miami Heat forward/centerBam Adebayo(knee) won't play against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. Adebayo appeared on the injury report earlier due to a left knee bruise, but he's since been downgraded to unavailable. Thursday's contest will be the first the 27-year-old has missed in a month. With the big man out, Nikola Jovic,Kyle Anderson, andHaywood Highsmithwould be set up for more work, whileKel'el Warewould have more space to dominate against a banged-up Dallas frontcourt.

Dante Exum Thu Feb 13 6:30pm

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Dante Exum (Achilles) will suit up for Thursday's clash against the Miami Heat. He sat out Wednesday's matchup against the Golden State Warriors and was initially on the injury report with a questionable designation. The Mavericks receive much-needed help with Exum back, as the team is down to its bare bones with all regular starters sidelined. The versatile Australian may receive increased usage on Thursday, but it's important to note that Exum, who has an extensive injury history, hasn't played more than 21 minutes in any game this season.

Kyrie Irving Thu Feb 13 6:20pm

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) will miss Thursday's matchup against the Miami Heat. On Wednesday, Irving led the Mavericks to victory with a monster 42-point effort against the Golden State Warriors, and he gets a well-earned rest day on Thursday. Irving's absence opens up tons of usage for the likes of Spencer Dinwiddie, Max Christie, and Dante Exum (Achilles. The latter has been cleared for action after initially carrying a questionable tag.

Walker Kessler Thu Feb 13 6:10pm

The Utah Jazz announced centerWalker Kessler (thumb) is unavailable to suit up for Thursday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers. The big man is a late scratch due to a left thumb strain. Kessler will have some time to recover from the injury with the upcoming NBA All-Star break. His next chance to return to action is February 21st against the Thunder. With Kessler on the shelf, Kyle FilipowskiandMicah Potter will soak up the extra minutes at center during this evening's contest.

Jabari Smith Jr. Thu Feb 13 5:40pm

Houston Rockets forward/center Jabari Smith Jr. (hand) is set to rejoin the action after the All-Star break. NBA insider Chris Haynes reported that Smith Jr., who fractured his hand on Jan. 1, is aiming for a return on Feb. 21 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 21-year-old has averaged 11.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 30.9 minutes this season. Amen Thompson has excelled in a starting role during Smith Jr.'s absence, and Rockets head coach Ime Udoka will face some tough decisions once the entire squad is back together. Smith Jr. has been a starter for all 188 of his career games so far.

Drew Eubanks Thu Feb 13 5:30pm

Los Angeles Clippers center Drew Eubanks (ankle) is not ready to face his former team, the Utah Jazz, on Thursday. He is nursing a left ankle sprain, which will sideline Eubanks for a second consecutive contest. The Jazz traded Eubanks to the Clippers on Feb. 1, but he has suited up for only three games with his new squad. The 28-year-old has notched 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 8.7 minutes. With Ivica Zubac healthy and having a fantastic season, Eubanks has little chance of making an impact in L.A.

Markelle Fultz Thu Feb 13 5:20pm

Sacramento Kings guard Markelle Fultz will play on Thursday against the Pelicans. The 2017 No. 1 overall pick recently signed with Sacramento after averaging 11.1 points, 4.6 assists, and 1.2 steals in 234 regular season appearances with the Sixers and Magic. The Kings recently traded De'Aaron Fox to the Spurs, so the team lacks depth at the one. While it could take Fultz time to carve out a routine role in the rotation, it's not unreasonable to assume he'll get some cracks at the starting lineup moving ahead. For now, Malik Monk should remain the Kings' starting point guard.

Amir Coffey Thu Feb 13 5:20pm

Los Angeles Clippers forward Amir Coffey (knee) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's tilt against the Utah Jazz. A sore left knee might keep Coffey sidelined after he logged 18 minutes in Wednesday's win against the Memphis Grizzlies. So far, Coffey has missed only one game this season. He has been a solid contributor for the Clippers but does not hold much fantasy value. Across 25.9 minutes of action, Coffey has averaged 10.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists. If he is out on Thursday, Derrick Jones Jr., Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Nicolas Batum may receive additional playing opportunities.

Steven Adams Thu Feb 13 5:00pm

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) is not on the injury report against the Warriors, even though there was an earlier report that the 31-year-old would sit out since the Rockets were playing the second half of a back-to-back set of games. Adams had five points and six rebounds while playing just 10 minutes against the Suns, so maybe the lighter workload is part of why he can bounce back and play again on Thursday. He has been dealing with an ankle injury that has had him in and out of the lineup, but it looks like he'll be available to serve as the primary backup for Alperen Sengun in the Rockets' last game before the All-Star break.

Ben Simmons Thu Feb 13 5:00pm

Los Angeles Clippers forward Ben Simmons (conditioning) is not listed on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Jazz, meaning he'll be available to make his debut with his new team. He finalized a contract buyout with the Nets on Friday after averaging 24.6 minutes in his 33 games this season and producing 6.2 points, 6.9 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 0.9 steals per game. His role with the Clippers is uncertain but with Kawhi Leonard (rest) not playing, Simmons could get significant playing time on Thursday.

Jordan Clarkson Thu Feb 13 4:50pm

Utah Jazz guardJordan Clarkson (foot) won't suit up Thursday against the Los Angeles Clippers due to left foot plantar fasciitis injury management. Clarkson will sit out the second leg of Utah's back-to-back after finishing with 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in 29 minutes in a 131-119 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. With the 32-year-old out and Collin Sexton(ankle) still sidelined, Keyonte George will have plenty of extra scoring opportunities on Thursday.

Collin Sexton Thu Feb 13 4:40pm

Utah Jazz guardCollin Sexton(ankle) will remain sidelined for Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. This will mark his sixth straight absence due to a left ankle sprain. His next chance to suit up comes after the All-Star break against the Thunder on February 21st. Jordan Clarkson(foot)will also be out of action, so 21-year-old Keyonte Georgeis most likely the prime candidate to see more minutes on the floor this evening.

Dante Exum Thu Feb 13 4:30pm

Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (Achilles) is questionable Thursday due to Achilles tightness. The 29-year-old Australian has been limited to six games this season, averaging 19 minutes per game and producing 9.2 points, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per contest. Kyrie Irving (shoulder) and Klay Thompson (foot) are also questionable, so Exum could end up in a big role if he's available. If the Mavs go into their final game before the All-Star break without Kyrie, Klay, and Exum, they will need other players to shoulder the offensive workload like Jalen Hardy, Spencer Dinwiddie, and new arrival Max Christie.

Klay Thompson Thu Feb 13 4:30pm

Dallas Mavericks forward Klay Thompson (foot) played 34 minutes against his former team on Wednesday night, but he is listed as questionable on Thursday against Miami for the second half of the Mavericks' back-to-back set of games before the All-Star break. Thompson had 17 points, seven assists, two rebounds, two blocks, and a steal in the win and has been a solid recent contributor for the Mavericks, who are dealing with multiple injuries in their frontcourt. Thompson is joined by Kyrie Irving (shoulder) as questionable on the injury report, and if Kyrie is out but Klay plays, he could have a heavy workload. If both starters are sidelined, the rest of the depth chart will be especially busy, opening huge fantasy opportunities for Spencer Dinwiddie, Max Christie, and Naji Marshall.

Kevin Love Thu Feb 13 4:20pm

Miami Heat forward Kevin Love (personal) is away from the team on Thursday for personal reasons and will miss a second straight game. The veteran is only averaging 10.5 minutes per game in his 19 games this season, so his absence won't impact the rotation very much. Haywood Highsmith and Nikola Jovic will continue to get most of the work at forward coming off the bench, although both could be in for extra work depending on the status of Bam Adebayo (knee), who is questionable.

Cason Wallace Thu Feb 13 4:20pm

Oklahoma City Thunder guardCason Wallace(shoulder) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He missed the previous six games due to a right shoulder sprain and will remain sidelined. Wallace has been a key depth piece for OKC, contributing on both ends of the floor with season averages of 7.3 points and 1.8 steals per game. With him out again, Aaron Wigginswill likely see extra minutes this evening.

Kyrie Irving Thu Feb 13 4:20pm

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) was listed as questionable for Thursday's home game against the Heat. Irving logged 40 minutes in Wednesday night's win over the Warriors, pouring in 42 points to go with seven rebounds. He had 30 points on Monday, so he's having a huge week, but he's also battling shoulder soreness now, so he may have to sit out on Thursday against Miami. The Mavericks also listed Klay Thompson (foot) and Dante Exum (Achilles) as questionable, and if those main contributors sit, there will be heavy minutes and usage available for Spencer Dinwiddie, Jaden Hardy, and Max Christie in the backcourt.
