Jimmy Butler Fri Mar 21 2:30am

Warriors' F Jimmy Butler recorded a triple-double, finishing with 16 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds in a 117-114 win over the Raptors on Thursday, Mar. 20.

Jaylen Brown Thu Mar 20 10:30pm

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (knee) won't suit up for Friday's clash with the Utah Jazz. The 28-year-old has been on-and-off the injury report of late because of a knee injury. He was last on the court for Saturday's win over the Nets. However, Brown wasn't available when both clubs met again on Tuesday night. Al Horford moved into the starting lineup. Yet, it was Baylor Scheierman who stole the show, with the rookie finishing with 20 points while shooting 6-for-7 from behind the arc. Scheierman should remain in the rotation, although fantasy managers shouldn't expect a duplicate showing. Instead, Payton Pritchard should benefit the most in the scoring department behind Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Kristaps Porzingis.

Ja Morant Thu Mar 20 9:30pm

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Morant will miss his fourth game in a row due to a lingering left hamstring issue. The Grizzlies haven't given a good timetable for Morant, but his next chance to play will come on Tuesday. In the meantime, Luke Kennard should remain in the starting five on Friday. Kennard has been offering low-end streaming value, but Desmond Bane and Scotty Pippen Jr. are the better fantasy options right now.

Gary Payton II Thu Mar 20 9:20pm

Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Payton is dealing with left knee soreness and it appears to be significant enough to hold him out of this contest. Normally, the absence of Payton wouldn't mean too much, but the 32-year-old has been playing 20 minutes or more in six of his last seven games. The expectation is that Brandin Podziemski and Buddy Hield will absorb the extra minutes. Both are worth a look as streaming options, but Podziemski is probably the choice between the two.

Darius Garland Thu Mar 20 9:20pm

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (rest) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns. Garland will be back in action after sitting out of Wednesday's contest for rest purposes. It's that time of the season where the top tier teams will likely rest their starters to keep them fresh for the postseason. The expectation is that Garland will have his normal role in the rotation on Friday. That being said, Dean Wade and Ty Jerome will probably take a step back which should hurt their streaming appeal.

Zach LaVine Thu Mar 20 9:10pm

Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine (personal) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Chicago Bulls. LaVine will be back in action on Thursday after sitting out of Wednesday's contest due to personal reasons. The expectation is that LaVine will have his normal role against his former team. His have dipped a bit lately, but possibly a revenge game against the Bulls will help LaVine get back on track. Fantasy managers can go ahead and get LaVine active in their lineups on Thursday.

Jake LaRavia Thu Mar 20 9:10pm

Sacramento Kings forward Jake LaRavia (illness) is available to play ahead of Thursday's game against the Chicago Bulls. LaRavia is back in action after sitting out of Wednesday's game due to an illness. LaRavia has been playing a bigger role lately with 21 minutes or more in six of his last seven games. Despite that, LaRavia has only scored double digits in three of those contests. He'll be a low-end streaming option for Thursday's slate.

Josh Giddey Thu Mar 20 9:00pm

Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. The Bulls have decided to take the cautious approach and hold Giddey out during the second leg of this back-to-back set. Giddey returned from a three-game absence on Wednesday and finished with 22 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists across 30 minutes of action. His absence from the lineup should give Tre Jones more streaming appeal on Thursday. He has been a strong fantasy option lately and is certainly someone worth snagging in most formats right now.

Patrick Williams Thu Mar 20 9:00pm

Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams (quad) is available to play ahead of Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. As expected, Williams has been cleared to play after being listed as probable on the injury report. Williams hasn't seen too significant of a role since returning from his nine-game absence. He played 17 minutes on Wednesday and finished with five points and two rebounds. The 23-year-old doesn't appear to be offering much fantasy value down the stretch of the season.

Jalen Brunson Thu Mar 20 7:50pm

According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Post, Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) is no longer in a walking boot. He was also spotted doing some "light shooting." The 28-year-old sprained his right ankle in a meeting with the Lakers on March 6. As a result, it was announced Brunson would miss at least a few weeks. Fortunately, it seems he's moving in the right direction. Still, the Knicks are looking for a championship, so the team won't put him back on the court until he's fully-healthy. While Brunson is on the shelf, Miles McBride, averaging 14.6 points, 4.7 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 43.1% shooting from deep in seven starts this season, should continue to roll with the first five. Precious Achiuwa, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart should also see a bump in scoring behind Karl-Anthony Towns.

Cole Anthony Thu Mar 20 7:30pm

Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (toe) is questionable for Friday's matchup with the Wizards. He has been battling a sprained toe, most recently keeping him off the floor for Wednesday's loss to the Houston Rockets. Cory Joseph got the start in that one, finishing with 13 points. If Anthony remains sidelined on Friday night, Joseph will likely continue to handle things at the one spot. But as long as Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are on the floor, Joseph isn't the safest option for fantasy managers.

    Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Thu Mar 20 7:20pm

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is off the injury report for Friday's matchup with the visiting Hornets. SGA is having an MVP-caliber year, averaging a career-high 33.0 points with 6.2 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks. He took the night off to rest when OKC played the 76ers on Wednesday night, allowing Isaiah Joe to move into the starting lineup and finish with 21 points while shooting 5-for-9 from behind the three-point line. His absence also enabled Jaylin Williams to amass an impressive 19-point, 17-rebound, 11-assist triple-double. With Jalen Williams (hip) and Luguentz Dort (hip) ruled out, there should be room in the rotation for Williams and Joe to remain involved. However, it will likely be business as usual against Charlotte, with Gilgeous-Alexander commanding the offense.

Robert Williams Thu Mar 20 6:50pm

Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III (knee) underwent surgery on his left knee on Thursday to address inflammation. He's "expected to make a full recovery" and will be sidelined 4-6 weeks. Without question, the 27-year-old is a difference-maker whenever he's on the floor, especially on the glass and defensive end. However, Williams has battled multiple knee injuries over the years. It's unknown if he'll remain in Portland. Yet, if Williams lands on the trade block, he will see plenty of interest from teams around the league looking for depth in the middle. With that said, he should have some productive fantasy outings moving ahead, although he'll need to figure out how to stay on the floor before earning the trust of fantasy managers.

Miles McBride Thu Mar 20 6:40pm

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (groin) will play on Thursday against Charlotte. The 24-year-old logged 31 minutes in Wednesday's 120-105 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, ending the night with 11 points, five assists, and three rebounds while shooting 37.5% from deep. He popped up on the injury report because of a groin contusion. However, McBride is good to go and expected to remain in the starting lineup in place of the injured Jalen Brunson (ankle), keeping him relevant for fantasy managers.

    Dorian Finney-Smith Thu Mar 20 6:40pm

According to Khobi Price of The Orange County Register, Los Angeles Lakers forward/centerDorian Finney-Smith(ankle) is doubtful for Thursday's matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks. Finney-Smith has been dealing with an ankle injury despite starting nine last 11 games for the Lakers. Rui Hachimura(knee),LeBron James(groin),Luka Doncic(ankle), andAustin Reaves(ankle) are all out, while Jarred Vanderbilt(groin) is also listed as doubtful, leaving them very shorthanded. Gabe VincentDalton Knecht, Jordan Goodwin and Shake Milton could have heavy workloads during tonight's contest, especially if Finney-Smith cannot play.

LaMelo Ball Thu Mar 20 6:30pm

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (wrist) is good to go for Thursday's matchup with the Knicks. He wasn't available for Tuesday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks. As a result, Damion Baugh entered the starting lineup and finished with 11 points, nine boards, five assists, and one steal. But with Ball and Miles Bridges (illness) cleared to suit up, Baugh will lose most of his fantasy appeal. On the other hand, Ball is a must-start in any fantasy setup.

Miles Bridges Thu Mar 20 6:30pm

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (illness) will play on Thursday versus the New York Knicks. He wasn't available for Tuesday's loss to the Hawks, allowing DaQuan Jeffries to slide into the starting lineup. He played well, amassing a team-high 19 points (tied) with five boards and two blocks. While Jeffries could see some work on Thursday night, he'll have a difficult time staying as productive with Bridges and LaMelo Ball (wrist) in the equation.

Jarred Vanderbilt Thu Mar 20 6:20pm

Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports thatLos Angeles Lakers forwardJarred Vanderbilt(groin) is considered doubtful for Thursday's matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks due to a right groin strain. The 25-year-old last played in Wednesday's 120-108 win over the Nuggets, finishing with 10 points, two rebounds, one assist, and three steals across 18 minutes of work. If Vanderbilt cannot suit up, Cam Reddish will likely see an uptick in minutes during Thursday's matchup.

Tyrese Haliburton Thu Mar 20 6:00pm

According to Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis,Indiana Pacers guardTyrese Haliburton (back) is unavailable for Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. Due to back soreness, the 25-year-old will miss his third consecutive contest. Haliburton was listed as questionable earlier in the day but has since been downgraded to out. Benedict Mathurin should continue to start in place of Haliburton. Fantasy managers could consider Mathurin a solid option for tonight's matchup. He registered 23 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal during 32 minutes in his last outing against Dallas on Wednesday.

Rui Hachimura Thu Mar 20 5:40pm

According to Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com,Los Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura(knee) is unavailable for Thursday's matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks. Hachimura will miss his 12th consecutive contest due to left knee patellar tendinopathy. The 27-year-old could be back in action soon, though, as he's returned to 3-on-3 work during practice. His next chance to make his long-awaited return is Saturday against the Bulls. However, since he's been out for over three weeks, the Lakers may ease Hachimura back into play, limiting his fantasy appeal.
