Josh Allen to the rescue again...at least it makes the decision easier to swallow when it wouldn't have made a big difference. I had one similar last week, but when the Pandas laid the wood to me it didn't matter at all.
Here's a proposal, and you can all reject it with absolute fury. I say we knock off one draft pick during draft night and allow an I/R for one person providing the person is declared injured by the NFL and is out for that specific week and thereafter. This way it no only adds to the intrigue of the waiver wire process but it givea you some flexibility with your roster. For example I can keep Cooper Kupp by placing him on I/R and get another player. When Kupp returns I have to knock someone out. I just think that would make things interesting.
Question. I was going to see if I could put Cooper Kupp on the I/R list just to see if I can. But the site said he was ineligible. The rules say to be placed on I/R a player must be on the COVID list on the official NFL Injury report. Since COVID is no longer really a factor, is this something the league should eliminate from our rules?
