Swami's Week 4 picks
Season Record 8-10
The Big Dogs vs Game of Throws: Game of Throws may finally have their team in place. I'm picking them again after last weeks
huge day.
Masked Crusader vs The Champs are Here: Masked Crusader had a nice win last week but I've got to stay with The Champs
Are Here this week.
3rd Stringers vs Parrot Heads: The 3rd Stringers finally lost last week, so that gives me an opening to go against them
and I will use it this week as I like Parrot Heads matchups better.
Mr Seahawks vs State Farm: I feel like this one will be close. I'm taking Mr Seahawks to eek this one out.
Bada Bing vs LIONBackers: I think Bada Bing may be the top scorer this week and move to 3-1.
The Blitz vs Maximum Effort: I cannot go against an undefeated team. I see the Blitz falling to 1-3. May have
to change the team name again.

Shannon we do this QB trade every year😂
If I get the same results this year as last year we can trade again next season!
Swami's Week 3 picks:
Season Record 5-7. Good thing Swami can't make wagers on these.
The Big Dogs vs Mr Seahawks: Both teams had good weeks last week so this one is tough. I'm taking TBD.
Masked Crusader vs 3rd Stringers: Doesn't matter what I think I can no longer pick against 3rd Stringers.
Game of Throws vs The Blitz: If this was last week GOT would beat the Blitz, but its a new week so I'm picking the Blitz.
The Champs Are Here vs Bada Bing: I have to take TCAH here after that monster score last week.
LIONBackers vs State Farm: This one is a toss up. I'm picking LB to get his first win.
Maximum Effort vs Parrot Heads: Maximum Effort is off to a great start and I'm picking him to go 3-0.
After your week 1 performance I wasn't saying a thing! Haha

LOL, Just 1. My plan was always to change it after my first loss. I just didn't think it would be by so much! Uggh.
How many 92 point losses does it take before he changes his name back??
Trade Block Update
Players on the Block:
Positions Needed:
Anthony you deserve Mason.. your team is falling apart lol. Terrible luck
Note to everyone. If you can set your kicker as the tie breaker in your lineup it will help the Commish not have to figure out how to fix ties if we ever have a tie again.
Swami's Week 2 picks:
Week 1 Record 3-3
The Big Dogs vs 3rd Stringers: I can't believe I'm going against the 3rd Stringers this week. I should know better by now but I have to do it.
Masked Crusader vs Mr Seahawks: I expect this one to be very close. I'm picking Masked Crusader.
Game of Throws vs Bada Bing: I'm gonna take Bada Bing until GOT shows us some more oomph. He has some players to do it so watch out when it happens.
TCAH vs Blitz: A rematch of last years championship game. I'm sticking with the Blitz until someone shows them up.
LIONBackers vs Parrot Heads: Can PH squeeze by LIONBackers and make him absolutely sick again this week? hmm. I'm gonna say no and take LB.
Maximum Effort vs State Farm: Brother-in-law showdown. I'm taking Maximum Effort this week.
I like that idea. Probably also a good idea for next year to not consider a player that sits out the entirety of training camp an "emergency" when he doesn't play week 1.
I still don't think regular IR for week 1 with the exception of emergency IR. Need a full rule around it though. I'm fine with an emergency IR in a situation like last night but wondering if after the game the player should go back in the pool for waivers.
Another thought I have is on the waiver order. Any reason we couldn't just go by record starting the first week instead of the random draw?
Both questions to be debated for next season.

For future reference, can we now IR people before week 1?? That’s been enforced in the past that we can’t and it would’ve also been applicable to me this week. CMC was maybe more of an emergency IR but just wanted to get a clear answer. This is rough for #1 whoever it is lol
I think caleb is #1 and if i'm guessing, he's not too happy about that.
Trade Block Update

Well I'm 0-1 on picking the right lineup.
i just realized that my entire team has week 14 as a bye week
C'mon commish that's an outragous pick. No Chase and PHsteven loses by 100
NFL opening day is almost here! There are Thursday and Friday night games this week. Make sure to get your lineups in.
Still some teams that haven't made their Pools contest picks for Pick em and Survivor. If you want to play, get those set.
All for fun now but maybe in the future there will be some incentives!
LETS GOOO!!!
Swami's Week 1 picks:
Big Dogs vs Masked Crusader - Masked Crusader starts off a better overall season with a win.
3rd Stringers vs Mr Seahawks - I missed on 3rd stringers so many times last season I've got to pick him this time.
Game Of Throws vs Champs are here - 2 Great QB's - I'm picking TCAH.
Bada Bing vs CCFFL Champ Blitz - Can't go against the reigning Champ can I? Nope - Blitz it is.
LIONBackers vs Max Effort - Should be a close one. I'm taking the Jackson/Andrews combo from LB in this one.
Parrot Heads vs State Farm - Will Ja'Marr play? If he does I take Parrot Heads. If he doesn't? hmm - still taking PH.

Is there a Venmo that we can send our entry fee to? If so, what's the buy-in amount again?Entry is $120. Venmo to @Robert-Riddle-5
Entry Sent - Cody Rose
It was another fun draft and great to see everyone. Thanks Jeff for hosting. Good luck to all
All teams imported. And new schedule set. Thanks everyone for a great draft! Swami will make his picks before the first game Thursday.
Reminder under Pools at the top of the screen there are two games, Pickem and survivor, anyone that wants to play just set your lineups. Good luck to all!
Shannon your trophy is ready to go!
903-721-3826
I think Shannon's team name is too long and violates CCFFL naming standards. Needs to be shortened to The Blitz.
Alright everyone! We have a full 12 team confirmed season coming up. We will be losing Jason this season and have Cody Rose taking his spot. Cody is a son-in-law of Rodney Hugghins. Welcome to the league Cody! The draft has been set for August 31 with plans to kick off the draft at 2pm. Jeff and Jacob will team up to provide food and Shannon will make his famous Queso dip, so no one should leave hungry. BYOB and See you all there!

I will find a shop to update the trophy unless anybody has an easier and cheaper trophy shop hookup??
I'm gonna miss it for these short 12 months..
who are the food buyers this year?
Yes it will be at my house. Tristan has someone drafting for him. Scott and Jason we need to hear from
looks like we just need confirmation from Scott, Tristan and Jason.
works for me.
Thought I saw an email that draft is set for Saturday August 31st at 2pm. Can't find it now. Works for me. I will be there.
This at Jeff's house?
I'm good anytime labor day weekend. We bringing back the league scramble???? lol
Thanks for the update Anthony and appreciate you doing some rearranging. We still haven't heard from half the league. hopefully, everyone will weigh in soon.
Not even sure yet. I'll be coming back from Port Aransas and I'm thinking about flying instead of driving so that would take me out on Sunday as well. Just let me know if that's the only weekend that works and I might can make something work, but I'd really prefer any other weekend starting this week.
doing the draft 2 weeks before season starts is a little tough because nfl rosters are not finalized yet.
it's so hard to move so many schedules around that I think it's best to just set the draft on Sunday of labor day every year like it has been for the last couple of years and everyone can put it on their calendar a year in advance. if you have a conflict, you'll need to find someone to draft for you.
I'm good for whatever weekend. Looking like the 25th may end up being the best. Jake, how late on the 25th would it have to be?
My preference is labor day weekend any day. I'll try to make accommodations if not that weekend. If there is a schedule conflict for anyone and they have someone else that can come draft for them that will work as well.
Unless it's a late draft Sunday night.
I wouldn't be able to make it on the 24th weekend. I'm available every other one.
i talked to shannon and jeff about either saturday or sunday of labor day weekend like we have done the last couple of years. does that work for you? I know jake can't do the previous weekend
25 years and 13 champions! I have a feeling this year will include a 14th CCFFL champion!
is everyone ready for another exciting season? is everyone still in?
