2024 RTSports Outlook

Kupp suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 10 and missed the rest of his season. Despite missing the last seven games, Kupp was still 23rd overall in fantasy receiver scoring. He had three games with double-digit receptions and at least 16 fantasy points all but his last game. Kupp had 75 receptions for 812 yards in nine games. He was his usual great self before the injury. He should be just fine for the start of this season and serve as the clear top target in this offense. Kupp has 90-plus receptions three of four seasons. Kupp remains in the prime of his career and the top of his game. Kupp has great hands and is a top route runner. He does lack some top-end speed, but he'll catch a ton of passes and doesn't let that slow him down one bit. He knows his limitations and makes the most of his abilities. He might be the best route runner in the game right now.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Kupp is a receiver you can make a case for taking first overall. He is going to produce huge numbers as long as he is on the field. His injury last year isn't a big concern. He has been healthy much of the last three seasons, so this doesn't seem to be a trend. Look for around 120 receptions for 1,500 yards and 11 or so touchdowns.

RotoBaller's Outlook

A high ankle sprain that needed surgery limited Los Angeles star wide receiverCooper Kupp (ankle) to nine games last season. While he still had respectable numbers to finish their campaign, his absence limited the Los Angeles Rams to five wins. Kupp finished with 75 catches for 812 yards and six touchdowns in 2022. Kupp suffered a "setback" with his hamstring injury that he suffered on August 1. "I think we just take it a day at a time right now, said Rams head coach Sean McVay. "We'll see. We want to be able to get him back right. We're obviously a much better team when he's available, but in his absence over the last few months, he's been out there leading in the way he can." Kupp is considered day-to-day with his status for Week 1 against the Seahawks up in the air. The reversal of their regular season records from 2021 to 2022 highlights his importance to the team's offense. They were so devoid of other consistent options last season that he still led the team in receiving yards, even if he was the only wideout who played fewer than ten games. He also led the team in receptions and was second in targets. Now that he's presumably healthy, Kupp is poised to have another impressive season for fantasy football. Two seasons ago, he won the wide receiver Triple Crown. The 29-year-old will not replicate that feat, especially if quarterback Matthew Stafford misses some games. However, he will be one of the league leaders in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns. His production will be hard to pass up since he is still at the peak of his career. Therefore, his sustained dominance over the league makes him a top-ten pick, but the latest injury news will have the star receiver slide into the second round of upcoming drafts.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp did not produce much in the team's 24-23 wildcard loss to the Detroit Lions. Kupp caught five of his nine targets for just 27 yards. In his final game of the season, he finished with the sixth-most receiving yards on the team and did not end on a strong note. It has been clear that rookie WR Puka Nacua has overtaken Kupp as the team's number one receiver and that should be expected to remain going forward. Consider the former All-Pro as a high-end WR2 in fantasy drafts next season.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp caught five of his nine targets for 27 yards in a 24-23 loss to the Detroit Lions in the NFC Wild Card game.

From TheHuddle

Jan 14 5:10am ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has taken a backseat to rookie phenom Puka Nacua this season. While Kupp has still had some big games and has been a solid option, he does not offer the same ceiling he once did. However, he has been one of the most dominant playoff performers in recent history. Through six playoff game appearances, the 30-year-old has averaged over 100 receiving yards and one touchdown per game. The team now faces the Detroit Lions on Sunday, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. While Nacua should still be considered the number one, Kupp is a great DFS option this week.

Jan 7 3:33pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (non-injury), RB Kyren Williams (non-injury), WR Cooper Kupp (non-injury) and TE Tyler Higbee (shoulder) have been declared inactive for the Week 18 game.

Fantasy Spin: The Rams have clinched a playoff spot, so they are resting most of their skill players. Ronnie Rivers, Royce Freeman and Davis Allen will have some value in fantasy leagues, but fantasy players can consider other options for their lineups.

From TheHuddle

Jan 7 3:23pm ET

The Los Angeles Rams have declared DL Aaron Donald, QB Matthew Stafford, WR Cooper Kupp, OT Joe Noteboom, TE Tyler Higbee, RB Kyren Williams and LB Ernest Jones inactive for Week 18.

From TheHuddle

Jan 5 8:13pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 5, but is listed as doubtful for Week 18.

Fantasy Spin: Kupp will not play again until the playoffs, so Demarcus Robinson probably will be the main receiver for the Rams in Week 18. He should see a decent amount of targets and can be a flex option in some leagues.

Los Angeles Rams OT Joe Noteboom (foot), TE Tyler Higbee (shoulder), C Brian Allen (illness) and QB Matthew Stafford (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 4. RB Kyren Williams (non-injury), WR Cooper Kupp (non-injury) and DT Aaron Donald (non-injury) were limited during practice. OT Rob Havenstein (non-injury), S Jordan Fuller (ankle), DE Desjuan Johnson (toe), DT Bobby Brown III (knee), CB Tre Tomlinson (hamstring) and CB Duke Shelley (hamstring) fully participated in practice.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp will not play against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18, according to head coach Sean McVay.

Fantasy Spin: With the Rams locked into the playoffs but with the division title of reach, McVay is opting to rest several starters. Kupp's absence opens up more targets for other receivers, but it will be Carson Wentz under center.

From TheHuddle

Jan 3 5:30pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp will be held out of the Week 18 contest versus the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams are choosing to rest Kupp, quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Kyren Williams and defensive tackle Aaron Donald despite the fact that they could fall to the No. 7 seed in the NFC with a loss this weekend. Kupp thus finishes his 2023 season with 59 catches on 95 targets for 737 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games played. He put up slightly better numbers in 2022 despite playing in three fewer games, making this year a pretty big disappointment after missing the first four games of the year due to an injury suffered in training camp. With Kupp resting in Week 18, rookie Puka Nacua, Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell will have bigger roles, albeit with Carson Wentz throwing them the pigskin.

Dec 31 8:00pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp's fantasy day was saved by a touchdown in the team's 26-25 win against the New York Giants. Kupp caught four of his six targets for 27 yards through the air and a touchdown. After getting in the endzone during the first half, Kupp caught just one pass through the entire second half of the game. It has become evident that the All-Pro receiver will not be targeted as heavily as he once was, considering the emergence of rookie phenom Puka Nacua. Treat Kupp as a mid-range WR2 in his Week 18 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

From TheHuddle

Dec 31 2:50am ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has played every offensive snap over the last two weeks and looked completely healthy. Over the last four games, Kupp is averaging seven catches for just under 80 yards and a touchdown per game. After the worst stretch of his career, the All-Pro receiver has gotten back on track. He now faces the New York Giants in Week 17, who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Treat Kupp as a low-end WR1 with a relatively safe floor this week.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 9:40am ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp came into this game with a three-game touchdown streak on the line. The veteran wideout saw multiple chances to score in this game. Sadly, quarterback Matthew Stafford missed him on two red zone looks, which was certainly frustrating for fantasy managers. Kupp finished the day with six receptions on 12 targets for 52 yards in the win over the New Orleans Saints. Despite that somewhat disappointing performance, Kupp should remain a WR1 heading into next week's game versus the New York Giants.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 2:03am ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp had six receptions for 52 yards during the team's Week 16 victory over the New Orleans Saints. He was targeted a team-high 12 times.

From TheHuddle

Dec 20 10:10pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp should be started in all fantasy leagues ahead of his Week 16 clash with the New Orleans Saints. While he's no longer the No. 1 fantasy receiver this season, the 30-year-old has been productive when healthy. He overcame a couple of underwhelming midseason games and has returned to must-start territory, amassing 22 catches, 265 yards, and three touchdowns over the last three weeks. As the Rams face the Saints on Thursday night, fantasy managers should be thrilled about the fact that Kupp seems to have found his stride late in the season.

From RotoBaller

Dec 19 4:05pm ET

Rams' WR Cooper Kupp scored 25.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 15 win against the Commanders. Kupp caught eight passes for 111 yards with one touchdown. It's the 3rd time this season Kupp scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Dec 17 10:33pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp ended up with eight receptions for 111 yard and a touchdown on his eight targets in Week 15 against the Washington Commanders.

From TheHuddle

Dec 17 9:30pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was productive in the team's Week 15 win against the Washington Commanders. Kupp caught all eight of his targets on the day for 111 yards and a touchdown. The score came on a 62-yard blown coverage deep ball in the third quarter. After an extremely frustrating stretch for the All-Pro receiver, he has put together three straight solid performances. Kupp is back to being an every-week WR1 regardless of the matchup. Treat him as such in a Thursday night matchup against the New Orleans Saints in Week 16.

From RotoBaller

Dec 17 7:30pm ET

Rams' WR Cooper Kupp had 8 receptions for 111 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's win against the Commanders. It was Kupp's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard receiving game. He has averaged 8 catches with 113 receiving yards in those games.

Dec 17 3:20am ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has picked it up over the last two weeks after showing inconsistencies. After five straight games with under five catches, 50 yards, and no touchdowns, Kupp has gotten back in rhythm. The All-Pro receiver is averaging seven catches for 77 yards and a touchdown over the last two games. He now faces a Washington Commanders defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Considering the matchup and his recent production, Kupp should be back in WR1 territory for Week 15.
