Oct 18 11:43pm ET

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater completed 16-of-29 passes for 216 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears and he also ran for 48 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Bridgewater hasn't made a lot of mistakes this season, but he tossed two interceptions for the first time since Week 2 in Tampa Bay. That loss to the Bucs was also the first time he failed to throw a touchdown. He'll look to rebound in Week 7 on the road against the New Orleans Saints.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 5:00pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed 16 of 29 passes for 216 yards and two interceptions in a 23-16 loss to the Bears. It was Bridgewater's worst outing this season by far, as he was inaccurate throughout much of the contest, including a late, game-sealing interception where he missed a wide-open D.J. Moore. Bridgewater was under duress constantly, which led to 48 rushing yards, though this was certainly one to forget. Fortunately, Bridgewater gets a good bounce-back spot in Week 7 against his former employer and their struggling defense- the Saints.

Oct 15 2:20pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater gets a tough matchup in Week 6 against the Bears. Bridgewater has been playing good football lately, with at least 250 passing yards and two touchdowns in two consecutive games. Chicago presents a difficult obstacle though, as they've allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing signal-callers, in addition to ranking sixth in pass DVOA. Bridgewater has been a nice streamer the past couple of weeks, but this is not a matchup to actively target. With that being said, the 27-year-old can be started as a low-end QB2 for any desperate fantasy managers, considering how good he has looked.

Oct 11 7:53pm ET

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater completed 27-of-37 passes for 313 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Spin: Bridgewater posted his second 300-yard game of the season and he has multi-touchdown games in each of his past two starts. If you need an emergency fantasy starter due to bye weeks or injuries to your start, Bridgewater could be a decent stopgap option. The Panthers welcome the Bears to town in Week 6.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 5:50pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed Week 5 going 27-for-37 with 313 yards and two touchdowns. It was a productive day for the QB against a depleted Falcons Defense and it was his second 300-yard game of the season. Bridgewater has overall been efficient this season though his touchdown totals are usually not consistent. The QB is best considered a streaming option in favorable matchups as of now.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 10:30pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is a streaming option in Week 5 against the Falcons. In the past two games, the QB has tossed for over 500 yards and three touchdowns in winning efforts. In addition, he is starting to build comfort in this offense. The Panthers now play the hapless Falcons, who allow the most fantasy points to QBs, roughly 33. If there was any week to start Bridgewater with confidence, it would be this one.

Oct 4 6:10pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed 26 of 37 passes for 276 passing yards and two scores along with 32 rushing yards and a touchdown. Bridgewater had his best game as a Panther in the victory over the Cardinals, as he was throwing darts all over the field. The lone mistake was an interception when he was looking for tight end Ian Thomas. It was his third career game with both a passing and rushing score, and the first such game since 2015. The 27-year-old made a couple men miss on an impressive 18-yard run for a touchdown that gave Carolina a 14-0 lead. Bridgewater should be in line for another great game in Week 5 against a bad Falcons Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 1 2:10pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is a sleeper in Week 4 despite a tough matchup against the Cardinals. Arizona has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points to opposing signal-callers, though they've surrendered two passing touchdowns in two of three contests this season. Bridgewater quietly ranks in the top-10 in passing yards, completion percentage and yards per attempt. He's had to throw the ball at least 34 times in two games this year because his defense has struggled- and he could be forced to sling it against a Cardinals' team scoring 25.7 points per game. Bridgewater is a good play this week in 2-QB or DFS formats and could also be a nice pivot for those who have Ben Roethlisberger or Ryan Tannehill as their starting quarterbacks in redraft leagues.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 10:20pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went 22-for-28 for 235 yards and one touchdown in the Week 3 win over the Chargers. Through three games, Bridgewater's only impressive stat has been passing for 367 yards in Week 2. Other than that, he hasn't been explosive in terms of touchdowns. In fact, the QB has two passing touchdowns and two picks on the year. He's simply not consistent enough and has rather mediocre weekly numbers, making him an unappealing fantasy option.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 9:23pm ET

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater completed 22-of-28 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers and he ran for 12 more yards.

Fantasy Spin: Bridgewater's passing yardage total was his lowest of the season, but remember he was without star back Christian McCaffrey - and they won. He remains more of a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues using two starting quarterbacks, especially since CMC is out. The Panthers host the Cardinals in Week 4.

From TheHuddle

Sep 23 7:00pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is best left on the bench for Week 3's tough road bout against the Chargers. The QB has opened up the season with a decent 636 passing yards, but only has one touchdown and two picks. Even though the Chargers have been a favorable matchup for opposing QBs, Bridgewater has not proved he is a weekly starter and doesn't offer much upside in terms of touchdowns and rushing.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 9:00pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed 33 of 42 passes for 367 yards and two interceptions in a 31-17 loss to the Buccaneers. The two interceptions were ugly and he also fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Tampa Bay. Through two games, the 27-year-old has 76 passing attempts, which could be considered excellent volume for fantasy purposes. Unfortunately, Bridgewater hasn't cashed in yet on touchdowns, though he certainly could in the right matchup. That right matchup could come in Week 3 against the Broncos, who have surrendered at least 240 passing yards and two touchdowns to both signal-callers they've faced so far in 2020.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 6:33pm ET

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater completed 33-of-42 passes for 367 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Spin: Bridgewater lost Christian McCaffrey due to an ankle injury in the second half of this one, and he didn't find the end zone, but he still did pretty well. He could be a solid fill-in for fantasy owners once bye weeks kick in, and he is a must-have in leagues using two starting signal callers. The Panthers travel to meet the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 6:10pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater draws a tough matchup in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' improved defense. Tampa Bay's pass rush made Hall of Famer Drew Brees look very ordinary in Week 1 and could do the same to Bridgewater, especially considering his offensive line isn't as good as Brees'. The 27-year-old threw for 270 yards and a score against Oakland, though their defense isn't as talented as the Buccaneers'. The best case scenario for Bridgewater this week is that Tampa Bay jumps out to a big lead, forcing him to throw the ball to keep up. Still, the matchup isn't enticing enough to look at him as anything more than a QB2.

From RotoBaller

Sep 13 6:23pm ET

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater completed 22-of-34 passes for 270 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders, and he also ran four times for 26 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Bridgewater did a pretty decent job in his team debut. He really seemed to jell nicely with Robby Anderson (6-115-1), who he briefly worked with in training camp with the New York Jets in 2019. He remains more of a QB2 heading into Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

From TheHuddle

Sep 13 4:30pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater recorded 270 passing yards, one passing touchdown, zero picks, and was 22-for-34 overall in Sunday's 34-30 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He also added four rushes for 26 yards. It was a modest Panthers debut for the QB. Bridgewater is certainly not the most explosive QB, so it's most important to monitor his consistency before considering him for fantasy. He faces a tough matchup next week against the division-rival Buccaneers.

From RotoBaller

Sep 9 9:40pm ET

Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be making his debut this week with the team. Bridgewater last played in 2019 with the New Orleans Saints in a total of nine games and started in five. Now in a new system, it's best to wait and see how the QB performs with a new set of weapons before starting him in fantasy in single-QB leagues. This is also considering that running backChristian McCaffrey is the focal point of the offense. Keep Bridgewater on the bench for this week's matchup against the Raiders.

From RotoBaller

Sep 1 3:23pm ET

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater has been 'an accurate passer' on short- and medium-range passes throughout camp, according to Jonathan Alexander of the Charlotte Observer. Per Alexander, while Bridgewater's passes haven't necessarily traveled 50-plus yards, he has consistently connected with his receivers when he has thrown a deep ball.

From TheHuddle

Jul 5 5:33pm ET

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater's average depth of completion of 4.7 yards as a member of the New Orleans Saints last season was the lowest mark by a quarterback in 2019, according to Pro Football Focus.

From TheHuddle

Jul 2 11:40am ET

Carolina Panthers outside linebacker Shaq Thompson told NFL Network's Colleen Wolfe on Wednesday's NFL Total Access that quarterback Teddy Bridgewater "is back" to the talent that made him a Pro Bowler when he was with the Vikings. "I think Teddy's definitely going to come in and change the offense. He has great weapons," Thompson said. Bridgewater went 5-0 in relief of an injured Drew Brees for the Saints last year and has plenty of weapons at his disposal in his first year in Carolina. While the 27-year-old signal-caller isn't known as a QB that pushes the ball down the field consistently, he could surprise in 2020 under new head coach Matt Rhule. Bridgewater will be a QB2 target with upside for fantasy owners.
