Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is off to a hot start and will have a prime chance to keep it going in Week 3 against the Saints. Through two games, Rodgers already has six touchdowns, zero interceptions and 604 yards. The future Hall of Famer will go up against a Saints Defense that has already allowed five touchdowns and an average of 260.5 passing yards to Tom Brady and Derek Carr. No offense to Brady, but Rodgers is still a different breed of quarterback at the respective stages of their careers. Rodgers' fantasy value could be affected by the availability of star receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) but the veteran passer should be considered a QB1 for Week 3.

Sep 20 11:43pm ET

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 18-of-30 passes for 240 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 2 game against the Detroit Lions. He also rushed for 12 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers didn't have any eye-popping stats, but overall he has 604 passing yards, six scores and no interceptions through two games. The train rolls on to New Orleans next Sunday night.

Sep 20 6:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 18-of-30 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers convincing 42-21 win over the Lions. Rodgers has the Packers offense humming out of the gate but Week 2 belonged to running back Aaron Jones, who posted 232 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. Rodgers, for his part, once again looked masterful at times as he diced up a banged-up Lions Defense. Rodgers will continue to rise up the fantasy ranks but will have a tough test in Week 3 against the Saints.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may have been on the outside looking in during fantasy drafts but will be a QB1 option against the Lions in Week 2. Rodgers absolutely shredded the Vikings to open the season, passing for 364 yards and four touchdowns. The Packers will now host a Lions Defense that severely collapsed in the fourth quarter against the Bears and suffered numerous injuries on defense. The Lions allowed three passing touchdowns to Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky, which should have fantasy team's that have Rodgers in starting lineups salivating heading into Week 2.

Sep 13 11:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 32 of his 44 passes for 364 yards and four touchdowns in a 43-34 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1.

Fantasy Spin: It was a vintage performance from Rodgers, but it is a little early to assume Green Bay will revert back to a pass-happy offense after last year's run-heavy approach. Keep Rodgers slotted as a low-end QB1 for now.

Sep 13 5:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came out swinging in Week 1, completing 32-of-44 passes for 364 yards and four touchdowns in the Packers 43-34 win over the Vikings. For those that are clamoring for Jordan Love will have to wait awhile as Rodgers sliced and diced the Vikings Defense. He hit star receiver Devante Adams all over the field and displayed some elite playmaking ability. Rodgers will sky-rocket up the fantasy ranks heading into Week 2.

Sep 9 2:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have a tough first test Week 1 against the division-rival Vikings. Rodgers' offensive production tailed off last season, as he failed to pass for more than 240 yards in six of his last eight games. Now he will face a Vikings Defense that allowed the 11th-fewest fantasy points to opposing passers in 2019. Rodgers himself failed to light up the scoreboard against the Vikings last season, passing for two touchdowns and averaging only 212.5 passing yards in two games. Rodgers' fantasy value heading into drafts was at an all-time low, and he could fail to impress the fantasy community in Week 1.

Minnesota Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter's (undisclosed) status for the season opener in Week 1 is very much in doubt. If Hunter practices on Wednesday, he'll likely be limited. His chances of playing against the Packers this weekend could depend on whether he can get in a full practice by Friday. The 25-year-old pass-rusher is a key piece of the Vikings Defense and has made the Pro Bowl each of the last two seasons. He had 70 combined tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 22 QB hits and has had exactly 14.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons. If Hunter is active on Sunday, he should be started in IDP leagues. If he's unable to go, it'd be good news for Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay's passing attack to kick off the season.

Green Bay Packers right guard Billy Turner sustained a knee injury during the teams scrimmage Sunday, which puts his availability for Week 1 against Minnesota in doubt. The ailment is reportedly nothing serious, but Turner will miss time and Lane Taylor is likely to step in. Green Bay has a few of the most tantalizing fantasy players at their respective positions in Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones, whose status shouldnt be overly affected by Turners absence. The Vikings defense may take a slight boost as they already enter the year as one of the leagues more tenacious pass-rushing units.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers spoke on the Dan Le Batard Show about criticism that has come out about him from former teammates. Former Packers Jermichael Finley and Greg Jennings have aired their grievances about playing with the former MVP but Rodgers told Le Batard, "There was some hurt for sure, but I don't have a problem with them. I just don't like when other people get to kind of influence the narrative about me that I don't think is necessarily true." Both have questioned Rodgers' leadership but the quarterback has no ill will towards them. The 36-year-old passed for 4,002 yards last season with 26 touchdowns and only four interceptions in 2019 but currently finds himself on the back-end of many top-10 fantasy quarterbacks lists heading into drafts.

Aug 14 2:50pm ET

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre told the 'Load Management' podcast that he would "love to see" Aaron Rodgers on the Chicago Bears one day. History could be repeating itself after the Packers traded up to draft quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of this year's draft. Many have speculated and assumed that this was not happy news for Rodgers, prompting many to wonder how much longer Rodgers will be in a Packers uniform. Despite a dip in production in the second half of 2019, Rodgers still passed for 4,002 yards with 26 touchdowns and only four interceptions. The 36-year-old still has plenty of ability but currently finds himself towards the end of many fantasy top-10 QB lists. The former MVP will be a reliable option but will be drafted in the later rounds for the first time in his career.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers isn't going anywhere else any time soon, head coach Matt LaFleur said recently. 'Right now, most importantly, Aaron's our quarterback and I see him here for a really long time,' LaFleur said. 'And however long that is, I don't think anybody knows. Nothing's guaranteed in this league but I feel so lucky to be able to work with him on a daily basis. I don't see that changing for a really long time.'

Fantasy Spin: The wheels have been turning on the tundra since the Pack drafted QB Jordan Love this spring, and while Rodgers seems set for at least the coming season the more pressing issue is he's coming off his least productive full-year fantasy season (ninth among QBs) since taking over as the team's starter in 2008. He's now a low-end QB1 who's more likely to be overdrafted on his name and past accomplishments.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray led the league in percentage of passing attempts behind the line of scrimmage in 2019 at 21.4 percent (minimum 200 attempts). San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (20.5), Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (20 and Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (20) were the other quarterbacks who finished over 20 percent last season.

May 28 4:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is looking for his offense to find more explosive plays under quarterback Aaron Rodgers in 2020, the coach admitted on ESPN Wisconsin's Wilde & Tausch. The Packers ranked 19th in explosive-play rate in 2019, according to Sharp Football Stats. However, other than free-agent addition Devin Funchess in the passing game, the Packers didn't really give Rodgers any added help outside of receiver Davante Adams and running back Aaron Jones. It will be on LaFleur to scheme up more explosive situations this year, but it definitely helps to have Rodgers throwing the passes, even if he's getting older. What's certain is that the Packers will need someone besides Adams and Jones to step up for Rodgers to hold off the naysayers.

May 24 5:43pm ET

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers led the league with 109 pass attempts behind the line of scrimmage and ranked second in attempts of at least 20 yards with 102. Conversely, he finished 15th in attempts between zero and 10 yards (236) and 18th on throws between 10 and 20 yards (100).

From TheHuddle

May 18 2:20pm ET

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has heaped praise on the young collection of receivers behind No. 1 target Davante Adams. Most notably has been Allen Lazard, the former undrafted free agent who didn't make the roster last year out of camp, but who ended up becoming the No. 2 behind Adams by season's end. "Hes just a great teammate, and ascending player, loved his approach every week and he made some big-time plays for us," Rodgers said. Reggie Begelton, who signed out of the CFL in January, may be a wild card of the group. Head coach Matt LaFleur has been impressed with Begelton during the virtual program, but he still remains a long shot to contribute consistently in 2020 despite the lack of a receiver depth in Green Bay. Lazard will be a popular late-round sleeper pick because of Rodgers' growing trust in him.
