Oct 19 2:43am ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick finished 18-of-27 for 191 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions in Week 6 against the New York Jets. He added four yards rushing on his only carry.

Fantasy Spin: Fitzpatrick threw for all three of his touchdowns in the first half, although fantasy owners probably weren't pleased that Devante Parker and Mike Gesicki weren't on the receiving end of any of them. Since a disastrous Week 1 showing, the Harvard alum has thrown for multiple touchdowns in four of his last five games and accounted for at least three scores in three of the last four. Fitzpatrick needs to be considered more of a QB2 in Week 7 in a home game against the Los Angeles Rams, however.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 11:00pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was able to help lead his offense to their second straight win in Week 6. Fitzpatrick completed 18 of 27 passing attempts for 191 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in the victory over the New York Jets. He was great during the first half, but failed to get much going after halftime. Tua Tagovailoa made his NFL debut in the fourth quarter, but it was because the Dolphins were running away with the game. Fitzpatrick is expected to remain under center against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8 following the bye.

From RotoBaller

Oct 16 12:40pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has surprisingly held decent fantasy value through the first few weeks of the regular season. Fitzpatrick has thrown for 300 yards or more in each of the last two games. There is a good chance he'll do it again against the horrendous New York Jets Defense in Week 6. The Dolphins appear fine with letting rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa develop slowly. That means, Fitzpatrick's job security should be safe for at least a few weeks. He'll be a favorable streaming option for fantasy owners needing a quarterback this week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 11:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 22 of his 28 pass attempts for 350 yards and three touchdowns in a 43-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: It was the third time in five games Fitzpatrick has topped 300 passing yards, and it was also his third game with multiple touchdowns. Of course, he also has two games with less than 200 passing yards and two games with no touchdown passes and multiple turnovers. Fitzpatrick is a boom-or-bust streaming candidate.

From TheHuddle

Oct 8 11:40am ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the starter for at least one more week. Head coach Brian Flores met with rookie Tua Tagovailoa and decided he'll stay with Fitzpatrick for one more game. Surprisingly, Fitzpatrick has performed well in terms for fantasy purposes, but will have a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. A team that has allowed the sixth fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Fitzpatrick has played well with minimal help, but he won't be worth a look in 12/14 team leagues. He could be an option in deep leagues for at least one more week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 11:20am ET

Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores has officially named quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick the starter for Week 5 against the 49ers. While it sounds like the coaching staff was considering all options, including giving rookie first-rounder Tua Tagovailoa his first NFL start, they decided to stick with the grizzled veteran for at least another week after he disappointed against a porous Seahawks Defense last Sunday. Even against a 49ers Defense that has lost their All-Pro pass-rusher in Nick Bosa, Fitzpatrick will merely be a QB2 for those in superflex leagues this weekend. San Fran's defense has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game through four weeks to opposing signal-callers.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 9:53am ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was confirmed the starter for Week 5 by head coach Brian Flores.

Fantasy Spin: Fitz will not be a good starting option against the San Francisco 49ers. Tua Tagovailoa's time is coming soon.

From TheHuddle

Oct 5 7:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick probably will be the starting quarterback for the Week 5 game, but the team has not made a final decision, according to head coach Brian Flores.

Fantasy Spin: Fitzpatrick has thrown four touchdowns and five interceptions so far this season and could be benched at some point with Tua Tagovailoa in line to take over the starting job. Fantasy players can monitor the situation but should avoid the Miami quarterback situation at this point.

From TheHuddle

Oct 5 5:20pm ET

Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said that he expects quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to get the start in Week 5 against the 49ers. "I understand where everybody's coming from with Tua and I get all that," Flores said. "At the same time, he's a young player, he's coming off the injury, so we'll make the decision on the starter, but I would presume that's gonna be Fitzpatrick." The veteran threw two picks in the Week 4 loss to a shaky Seahawks Defense and didn't lead the team into the red zone until the final two minutes of the game. Rookie first-rounder Tua Tagovailoa is recovered from the hip injury he suffered in college last year, and it's looking like Miami's staff is at least starting to consider a change under center. If Fitzpatrick struggles again versus a tough 49ers Defense, the rookie may get his chance sooner than later. Tagovailoa will have his ups and downs whenever he gets his chance, but the upside is obvious in the long term.

Oct 4 8:50pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was expected to be a reliable streaming option, but failed to capitalize on his opportunities. He completed 29 of 45 passing attempts for 315 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He somewhat saved his fantasy value by adding six carries for 47 yards and one touchdown. It was a disappointing effort against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. It wasn't bad enough to get Tua Tagovailoa in the game. Which means, Fitzpatrick should be back out there for their Week 5 matchup versus the San Francisco 49ers. He could have some deep league streaming appeal, but Fitzpatrick isn't trustworthy in most formats.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 8:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 29-of-45 passes for 315 yards in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks with no touchdowns and two interceptions and he added a team-high 47 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Spin: It was Fitz-Magic's second 300-yard passing game in the past three outings, and he has a rushing touchdown in each of the past two. He is a solid low-end QB1 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams when the matchup is favorable. The Dolphins travel to meet the 49ers in Week 5.

From TheHuddle

Oct 2 12:20pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown four touchdowns without any interceptions over the last two weeks. The veteran quarterback has surprisingly looked good after a rough season opener. Last week, he got it done through the air and on the ground. Fitzpatrick rushed seven times for 38 yards and one touchdown in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He'll have another favorable matchup here against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4. The Seahawks pass defense has been horrendous this season, so Fitzpatrick shouldn't have any issues finding open receivers. Fitzpatrick isn't a top tier option, but he could be useful to fantasy owners desperate for a QB this week.

From RotoBaller

Sep 25 8:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick put together another solid performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3. He completed 18 of 20 passing attempts for 160 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed seven times for 38 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown as well. The Jaguars had no answers for Fitzpatrick through the first half, but were able to slow him down after halftime. He'll get another solid matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4. Seattle is struggling to slow down the passing game, so Fitzpatrick could be a possible streaming option again.

From RotoBaller

Sep 25 12:23am ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 18 of 20 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns during the team's Week 3 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fitzpatrick also ran seven times for 38 yards and a score.

Fantasy Spin: Jacksonville's defense had no answers for Fitzpatrick, whose only two incompletions came on the team's two-minute drive before halftime. If the Jags had been able to keep pace, who knows what kind of numbers Fitzpatrick would've put up. Instead, Miami was in firm control throughout the second half with Fitzpatrick only attempting a handful of passes. He'll enjoy a weekend off before hosting the Seahawks in Week 4.

From TheHuddle

Sep 23 5:50pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has an intriguing matchup versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3. Fitzpatrick is coming off a performance where he completed 31 of 47 passing attempts for 328 passing yards and two touchdowns. Sadly, the Dolphins weren't able to get the win during that Week 2 matchup. However, Fitzpatrick bounced back nicely after his Week 1 dud. He'll now get a favorable matchup against the Jaguars on Thursday night. Fitzpatrick is not a recommended option in most formats, but could be a streaming choice for quarterback-needy teams in Week 3.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 7:50pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was unable to pull off the victory in Week 2, but gave it all he had. Fitzpatrick completed 31 of 47 passes for 328 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to the Buffalo Bills. The 37-year-old veteran was almost able to lead his team to a comeback victory. His solid performance here has likely earned him another start versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3. You really never know what to expect from Fitzpatrick, but this seems like a favorable streaming matchup for him.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 5:53pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 31-of-47 passes for 328 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills and he ran for 12 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Fitz-magic and the Dolphins came up a little short on the scoreboard, but it was an exciting finish, and he really jelled nicely with his tight end, Mike Gesicki (8-130-1). The Dolphins have a quick turnaround with a Thursday road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 7:50pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had a horrendous start to the 2020 campaign versus the New England Patriots in Week 1. He completed 20 of 30 passes for 191 yards and three interceptions. Despite that, head coach Brian Flores confirmed that Fitzpatrick will start during their Week 2 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. The team is likely just waiting until Tua Tagovailoa is fully healthy before benching Fitzpatrick. Fantasy owners can go ahead and avoid Fitzpatrick in this one. He won't have value in just about any format.

From RotoBaller

Sep 14 2:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was named the starting quarterback by head coach Brian Flores for Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills on Monday, Sept. 14.

From TheHuddle

Sep 14 1:00am ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick looked awful during their Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots. He completed 20 of 30 passes for 191 passing yards and three interceptions. To be fair, Fitzpatrick lost his best receiving option DeVante Parker (hamstring) for the second half. Regardless, there was really no chance of Fitzpatrick having success against the Patriots Defense. He'll head into a matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. Fantasy owners should probably avoid Fitzpatrick for this one since it'll probably be a similar outcome.
