Player Notes
Nov 23 8:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) fully participated in practice Monday, Nov. 23. The Cowboys did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott picked up his first 100-yard game of the season in Week 11 game and found the end zone for the first time in five games. He should have success against the Washington Football Team and can be a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 23 5:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys CB Anthony Brown (ribs) did not practice Monday, Nov. 23. TE Blake Bell (back) and PK Greg Zuerlein (back) were limited. RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring), OT Brandon Knight (knee) and LB Joe Thomas (wrist) practiced in full. Dallas did not practice on Monday, so the report is an estimation.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 11:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott ran 21 times for 103 yards in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings and he added two receptions for 11 yards and a touchdown on his two targets.

Fantasy Spin: It's hard to believe, but his fantasy owners know it all too well, but it is Zeke's first 100-yard rushing performance of 2020. He hasn't scored a rushing touchdown in five games, but at least he had his first receiving score since Week 1. You drafted Elliott in Round 1, you have to stick with him now and hope he finishes with a bang. The Cowboys host Washington on Thanksgiving in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 7:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had his best game of the season in Week 11, running the ball 21 times for 103 yards and adding two catches for 11 yards and a touchdown. "Zeke" scored on a six-yard pass from Andy Dalton in the first quarter. It was Elliott's first 100-yard rushing game of the season and the Cowboys offense finally looked like an NFL offense for the first time since Dak Prescott's season ended. If the Cowboys can keep playing like this, Elliott will work his way back into the RB1 ranks conversation. For now, he remains a solid-floor RB2 for a Thanksgiving game against the Washington Football Team.

From RotoBaller

Nov 22 7:30pm ET

Cowboys' RB Ezekiel Elliott ran for 103 yards on 21 carries but no touchdowns in Sunday's win in Minnesota.

Nov 20 6:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott has rushed for at least 90 yards in only one of the last seven games but has received at least 12 carries in every game. He should continue to be a big part of the offense and can be a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 20 6:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys C Tyler Biadasz (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings. DE Demarcus Lawrence (illness) did not practice for a second straight day Friday, Nov. 20, and is listed as questionable. DE Randy Gregory (illness) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. QB Andy Dalton (concussion), RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring), OG Zack Martin (calf) and LB Joe Thomas (wrist) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 19 4:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 19.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott has been held to under 65 yards in each of the last four games but is still a major part of the offense for the Cowboys. He can still be considered a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 19 4:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys C Tyler Biadasz (hamstring) and DE Randy Gregory (illness) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 19. DE Demarcus Lawrence (illness) was added to the injury report and also did not practice. QB Andy Dalton (concussion), RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring), OG Zack Martin (calf) and LB Joe Thomas (wrist) practiced in full.

From TheHuddle

Nov 18 11:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) said Wednesday, Nov. 18 that his hamstring 'is a little tight. It's a little stiff. It's something that I'm working on every day,' Elliott said. He was able to make it through a full practice Wednesday, and he said the injury feels 'more comfortable' than it did before entering the Week 9 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers before the bye.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott been a little bit disappointing from a fantasy perspective this season, and it doesn't help that the Cowboys have had some injury woes at the quarterback position. He remains a bona fide RB1 in most fantasy leagues heading into the Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

From TheHuddle

Nov 18 5:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott is not a productive as he has been in the past but is still a focal point on offense for the Cowboys. He can be a No. 2 running back in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 18 1:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is looking for his first touchdown since Week 5. In Week 5, Elliott put up 22.5 fantasy points in standard scoring formats, but has not made it to double digits since then. For the season, he's run the ball 150 times for 572 yards and five touchdowns, well below anyone's expectations for "Zeke's" 2020. The good news is that he seemed healthy in Week 9 despite a hamstring injury, and has now had the bye week to rest even more. Even fully healthy, Elliott is looking more like an RB2 for the rest of the season, although his usage will at least provide one of the higher floors among fantasy running backs.

From RotoBaller

Nov 9 2:03am ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) rushed for 51 yards on 18 carries and caught two of his three targets for 18 yards in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott got a full workload despite entering the weekend with a hamstring injury that threatened to sideline him. As such, this effort was about all his fantasy owners could've asked for in a matchup against one of the NFL's best rush defenses. This kind of performance figures to be the norm for him for the rest of the season with the offensive line in shambles and Dak Prescott's season over. He'll get a week off before returning as a RB2 in Week 11 versus the Minnesota Vikings.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 8:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott came into the Week 9 game expected to be limited, but he ended up seeing 20 touches. He was quite unremarkable though, running the ball 18 times for 51 yards and catching two passes on three targets for 18 more yards. Elliott received twice as many carries as his backup Tony Pollard, but Pollard was able to turn nine carries into 57 yards. Elliott hasn't been the same since Dak Prescott (ankle) was lost for the season, and he's somewhere in the RB2 ranks going forward, even with the unexpectedly solid performance from fourth-string quarterback Garrett Gilbert.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 3:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) is officially active for the Week 9 game.

Fantasy Spin: It is not known if Elliott will be able to handle his normal workload but should receive most of the work at running back. He will have a tough matchup but can still be a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 2:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) has had his Week 9 status up in the air all week, but ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Elliott had an "encouraging pregame warmup." That seems to indicate that Elliott is trending towards playing against a strong Steelers Defense. With Garrett Gilbert starting at quarterback, the Cowboys will lean on whoever their starting running back is. Elliott's presence could actually complicate things if the team splits carries between him and Tony Pollard more than normal, but projected volume still makes Elliott an RB2 play.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 10:03am ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) has a good chance of playing in Week 9's game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott had been listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited practice participant throughout the week. He's having a down year and it wouldn't be surprising if he sees a reduced workload this afternoon due to the injury, so he should be viewed as no better than an RB2 option play at best.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 8:50am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) has a good chance to play in Week 9, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Elliott is dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered against the Eagles and was limited by it in practice. For what it's worth, owner Jerry Jones said he expects his star running back to be out there, with Rapoport noting that Elliott looked good in a Saturday workout. With the game at 4:30, fantasy managers would be wise to have an option to pivot to just in case the Cowboys play it safe with Elliott. He'll be in the RB2 range if he manages to suit up against a tough Pittsburgh defense.

From RotoBaller

Nov 7 2:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 9 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the team is preparing to be without him, elevating FB Sewo Olonilua from the practice squad Saturday, Nov. 7. Elliott's status likely will be determined in a pregame workout, but there there is 'some thought that it may be in his and team's best interest that he not play,' with the Cowboys' bye upcoming in Week 10, according to a team beat reporter.

Fantasy Spin: The outlook is growing dimmer as the week goes on, and Elliott owners definitely need to have Tony Pollard or another late-weekend Plan B option at the ready as the Cowboys play in the late-afternoon window Sunday.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 2:10pm ET

The Dallas Cowboys are preparing to be without running back Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) in Week 9 against the Steelers. The team elevated fullback Sewo Olonilua from the practice squad on Saturday for more backfield depth behind Tony Pollard and rookie Rico Dowdle if Elliott is indeed inactive on Sunday. Head coach Mike McCarthy said that Elliott will have a pre-game workout before they make a final decision. If Zeke is officially inactive on Sunday, Pollard would likely see the vast majority of the backfield touches, although he'll be a low-upside RB3/flex against an elite Steelers Defense with Garrett Gilbert under center for the Cowboys.
