The New York Giants fired offensive line coach Mark Colombo on Wednesday and are bringing in longtime NFL assistant Dave DeGuglielmo to replace him, according to sources. First-round left tackle Andrew Thomas hasn't really developed up front, which appears to be the primary motivation for this move. Head coach Joe Judge was spending more time with the offensive line in recent weeks, so the move to a new assistant coach should free him up for his many other responsibilities. The change should only help quarterback Daniel Jones and the Giants running game in the second half of the season.

Nov 15 4:50pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 21 passes on 28 attempts for 244 scoreless yards in a win over the Eagles on Sunday. Jones made a bigger fantasy impact with his legs rushing nine times for 64 yards and a touchdown. Most importantly, Jones protected the football playing his second-straight turnover-free game after turning the ball over at least once in every game through Week 9. He started the season slow, but the sophomore QB has been playing better lately with three-straight 200-plus yard games in addition to his rushing upside. He'll be a start-worthy QB in two-quarterback formats against the Bengals in Week 12 after the bye week.

Nov 13 12:20pm ET

New York Giants guard Will Hernandez was back at practice this week after being cleared to return to the team. Hernandez missed the last two games while in quarantine after a positive COVID-19 test. Getting reinforcements on the offensive line should be a boost to the offense as a whole, as quarterbackDaniel Jones has been sacked 11 times in the last three games. The running game should also benefit, regardless if its Devonta Freeman (ankle) or Wayne Gallman leading the backfield for Big Blue this weekend.

Nov 13 12:00pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones hasn't taken the next step in his sophomore season but played well last week and will look to carry that momentum into a divisional showdown with Philadelphia. Jones played his first turnover-free game last week in a win at Washington - though he did fumble twice - and threw for 212 yards making it back-to-back games with 200-plus yards for the first time since Weeks 1 and 2. The Eagles aren't an overly daunting matchup as they rank 19th in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, but they did sack Jones three times in their first meeting and had pressure on the New York signal caller all game. Start Jones in two-quarterback leagues as a low-end QB2, but managers in one-quarterback leagues should be able to find a QB with more upside.

Nov 8 5:50pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones went 23-for-34 passing for 212 yards with a touchdown in a win at Washington on Sunday. Jones added four yards on six rushing attempts and fumbled twice, but both were recovered by New York to give Jones his first turnover-free game this season. If Jones can limit the turnovers, he can be a quality QB2 in fantasy, but he has been too unreliable to start on a consistent basis. He hasn't had a 300-yard game yet this season and hasn't had more than two touchdowns in a contest. He'll be a low-end starter in two-quarterback leagues in a home matchup with Philadelphia next week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 5:20pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has struggled so far in 2020 and has fallen off the radar for fantasy at the midway point of his second NFL season. Jones has just 1,666 yards with a 61.8 percent completion percentage through eight games while sporting a ghastly 7:9 touchdown to interception ratio. Now he faces a Washington defense known for getting after the quarterback. Jones has been sacked six times in his last two games as the offensive line has not held up in New York. The height of the bye-week season could make Jones a low-end starter in two-quarterback leagues, but most fantasy managers should steer clear of the sophomore signal-caller.

Nov 2 11:40pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 25 passes on 41 attempts for 256 yards in a loss to the Buccaneers on Monday. Jones threw two touchdowns - his third multi-touchdown game of the season - but also had two interceptions. Given the tough matchup with Tampa Bay, it was surprising to see Jones put up his highest yardage-total since Week 1, however, he has not played a turnover-free game this season and remains a fringe starter only in two-quarterback fantasy leagues. He'll face another tough matchup in Week 9 versus Washington.

From RotoBaller

Oct 30 2:10pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has disappointed in his sophomore season and will face another tough defense in Week 8. Jones is yet to play a turnover-free game this season and will face a Buccaneers Defense that is third in the NFL in takeaways. In addition to the turnovers, Jones is yet to have 250 yards in a game since Week 1. Jones is a fringe-starter at best in two-quarterback fantasy leagues with a matchup against a team allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

From RotoBaller

Oct 22 11:50pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had his best statistical performance of the season on Thursday night, but still came up short in a one-point loss to the Eagles. Jones was 20-for-30 passing for 187 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 92 rushing yards. While those were positives for the second-year QB, Jones had his share of shortcomings as well. Jones should've had a touchdown on a perfectly-executed read-option in the third quarter, but stumbled five yards short of the end zone. Other negatives for Jones included an interception and a fumble as he has not had a turnover-free game this season. His rushing upside gives him QB2 appeal in superflex leagues, but Jones hasn't put up good enough numbers to start in one-QB formats.

Oct 22 12:50pm ET

The New York Giants plan on using first-round left tackle Andrew Thomas in the starting lineup on Thursday night against the Eagles, according to an informed source. Thomas was benched in the first half of the Week 6 win over the Washington Football Team for violating a team policy, but he will return this week in good standing with the coaching staff. The tackle from Georgia will return to his role as the blind-side protector of quarterback Daniel Jones for this divisional matchup. The Eagles Defense ranks fourth in the NFL this year with 21 total sacks through six weeks, too, so Thomas will have a tough task in keeping Jones' jersey clean throughout the night.

Oct 21 6:00pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has struggled so far this season and will face a quick turnaround playing on Thursday night versus the Eagles. The sophomore signal-caller has thrown just three touchdowns against six interceptions through six games. Jones also has three fumbles-lost, a stat he lead the league in as a rookie. While the Giants did pick up their first win this past Sunday, Jones had little to do with it as he completed only 12 passes for 112 yards. Philadelphia is a middle-of-the-pack defense in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, but Jones is just a fringe QB2 in superflex and two-QB leagues.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 6:20pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 12 passes on 19 attempts for 112 yards in a win against Washington on Sunday. Jones threw one touchdown, his first score since Week 1, and also threw an interception in New York's first win of 2020. Jones added some fantasy value with 74 rushing yards, but at this point it's hard to justify starting the sophomore QB in fantasy leagues. He is yet to throw for 300 yards in a game this season and has nine turnovers through six games. Jones is not a recommended fantasy starter with a quick turnaround Thursday night versus Philadelphia.

From RotoBaller

Oct 17 11:30am ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has a good matchup in Week 6 as the sophomore signal caller will look to find the end zone for the first time since the season opener. Jones threw two touchdowns versus Pittsburgh in Week 1, but has struggled mightily since then as he has played himself out of fantasy consideration in one-quarterback leagues. Jones has eight turnovers in five games and has already been sacked 16 times. Washington poses an easier matchup in Week 6 so Jones is startable as a low-end QB2 in two-QB or superflex leagues as the Football Team allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 10:50pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones threw for 222 yards on 20-for-33 passing during the narrow loss to the Cowboys on Sunday. He also had a fumble. As the team focused primarily on the run, the sophomore signal-caller didn't make much of a dent on the fantasy end. Now not having logged a touchdown pass since the Week 1 loss to Pittsburgh, Jones shouldn't find himself starting in any fantasy format until he begins to produce consistently, something that is unlikely to occur over the team's next 11 games.

From RotoBaller

Oct 8 9:00pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has struggled mightily in 2020 but will look to get on track in a juicy matchup at Dallas. Jones hasn't thrown a touchdown since Week 1 and has thrown five interceptions to just two touchdowns on the season. As bad as Jones has played, Dallas offers a nice bounce-back opportunity for the sophomore signal-caller. The Cowboys Defense has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season and were shredded for 508 yards by Cleveland last week. Jones is a risky start over more established QBs in traditional fantasy leagues, but he should be started in 2QB and superflex formats.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 7:30pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had another brutal outing in Week 4 in a loss to the Rams. Jones completed 23 passes on 36 attempts for only 190 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. The pick was a backbreaker for New York as it came with 52 seconds left with the team in the red zone in a one-possession game. Jones did add 45 rushing yards, but he has been one of the biggest disappointments for fantasy at the quarterback position. Jones hasn't thrown a touchdown since Week 1 and has five interceptions to only two touchdowns on the season. Jones is currently not a starting option in one-QB leagues but has streaming appeal in two-QB formats versus a bad Cowboys Defense in Week 5.

From RotoBaller

Oct 2 10:10pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has struggled thus far in 2020 and faces another tough test in Week 4 at the Rams. Jones struggled mightily with turnovers last season and has carried those tendencies over to this season with four interceptions and two fumbles lost through three games. Jones only threw for 179 yards last week and his yards-per-attempt has gone down each week this season. Jones hasn't scored a touchdown in two weeks and is not a recommended start in fantasy in a road matchup in Los Angeles.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 5:10pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had another disappointing game Sunday in a blowout loss to the 49ers. Jones completed just over 50-percent of his passes, 17-for-32, and threw one interception without throwing a touchdown. Jones added 49 rushing yards on five carries, but also lost a fumble. Jones hasn't thrown a touchdown for two-straight weeks and already has six turnovers through three games. He isn't a reliable fantasy option at the moment and shouldn't be started next week at the Rams.

From RotoBaller

Sep 25 5:10pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has gotten off to a rough start in 2020, but will look to right the ship in a home matchup against San Francisco. Jones has just two touchdowns and three interceptions through two games while also losing a fumble. Turnovers were Jones' primary issue as a rookie so it is not ideal for fantasy managers to see his carelessness with the football in his sophomore campaign. The matchup with the 49ers looks rough on paper, but the 49ers will be missing several key players due to injury and are traveling to the East Coast for the second straight week. Jones shouldn't be started in one-quarterback leagues but he has upside as a QB2 in superflex formats.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 6:00pm ET

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 25 passes on 40 attempts for 241 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in a Week 2 loss to the Bears. Jones added 21 rushing yards in a brutal game for the New York offense. Jones struggled with turnovers as a rookie when he led the NFL in fumbles and he lost another fumble in this game. He had some big games last season, but Jones has struggled thus far in 2020 and has taken himself out of the mix as a fantasy starter in one-quarterback leagues. He'll attempt to bounce back in Week 3 vs a banged-up 49ers Defense.
