Nov 24 3:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper bounced back into the fantasy conversation last week when quarterback Andy Dalton finally made the Cowboys look like they had a real NFL offense. This week, however, Cooper will have a much tougher matchup against the Washington Football Team. He caught six passes for 81 yards last week and was close to a touchdown more than once, but he'll check in as a low WR2 for this tough matchup.

From RotoBaller

Nov 22 11:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper registered six receptions for a team-high 81 yards on seven targets in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Spin: Cooper was likely very glad to see Andy Dalton, an NFL-caliber quarterback, under center again in Big D. He didn't get into the end zone for the fourth straight game, but his yardage total was his highest since Week 4 against Cleveland.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 7:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper led the Cowboys in receiving in their Week 11 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Cooper made six catches, gaining 81 yards. His catches and yards were both the most on the team, as were his seven targets. The only thing Cooper didn't do in this one was score a touchdown, which he's only done twice so far this season. Cooper faded into the WR3 ranks while the Cowboys were struggling to find a warm body to play quarterback, but with Andy Dalton back and clearly capable, Cooper could make his way back into some higher-end WR2 conversations. The Cowboys will take on the Washington Football Team on Thanksgiving Day.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 2:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper was formerly looked at as a fantasy WR1 but given all of the struggles on the Cowboys offense this season, he's faded into the back end of the WR2 ranks. The Minnesota Vikings in Week 11 make for a good matchup for Cooper and the Cowboys, but with uncertainty at quarterback, it's hard to know what to make of their opportunities. Andy Dalton (concussion, COVID) is expected to return to the starting lineup and should be able to provide something close to league-average quarterback play. Cooper caught five passes for 67 yards in Week 9 after catching just one pass in Week 8. He's more likely to repeat his Week 9 performance, but the volatility in the Cowboys offense leaves a Week 8 repeat as a possibility as well. Cooper is a WR2 with some upside but a low floor this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 7:20pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper combined to see 17 targets in the two games that veteran signal caller Andy Dalton has started this season, which bodes well for his outlook heading into Sunday's matchup against Minnesota, where Dalton is expected to return after clearing concussion protocol. The past two weeks have seen the 2019 Pro Bowler limited to six catches, which has put a damper on his fantasy stock. While he may not have the same appeal that he did while Dak Prescott was under center, Cooper's Week 11 matchup is particularly advantageous due to the Vikings Defense having yielded 16 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers (tied with Dallas for most in the NFL) this season.

From RotoBaller

Nov 9 4:33am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper pulled in five of his six targets for 67 yards in Week 9 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also ran once for eight yards.

Fantasy Spin: Cooper is more of a low-end WR2 at best since Dak Prescott was lost for the season. While Garrett Gilbert and Andy Dalton are a step down from Prescott, they appear capable of making Cooper worth a start in fantasy. Dalton should be back from his concussion following the Cowboys' Week 10 bye, and Cooper has a decent shot at being a top-20 receiver in Week 11 against the weak secondary of the Minnesota Vikings.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 8:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper made five catches in Week 9, gaining 57 scoreless yards. He was targeted six times. Three pass catchers (CeeDee Lamb, Dalton Schultz, and Michael Gallup) tied for first on the team with seven targets each, as Garrett Gilbert spread the ball around to all of his pass catchers. While he was nothing like Dak Prescott, Gilbert was still able to move the offense somewhat and keep his receivers fantasy-relevant. Cooper should settle into a low-upside WR2 role heading forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 1:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper can no longer be considered a member of the WR1 ranks in any fantasy format. Cooper caught only one pass last week, gaining just five yards. With the Cowboys quarterback position now looking to start its fourth or fifth string guy, Cooper will settle in as a WR3 with little of his usual upside. That's especially true in a matchup against the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. Fantasy managers can at least expect an improvement on his Week 8 performance.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 1:13am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper caught one pass for five yards during the team's Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He was targeted five times.

Fantasy Spin: For whatever reason, Michael Gallup was the apple of DiNucci's eye on Sunday night while Cooper was mostly ignored. While his value has dipped since the injury to Dak Prescott don't read too much into things here as Andy Dalton is expected to return in Week 9. That should be enough to return Cooper to WR2 status next Sunday.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 12:30am ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper only made one catch in a Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He was targeted five times, but was only able to come down with one, gaining just five yards. Cooper struggled along with the entire Cowboys passing game with seventh-round rookie Ben DiNucci getting his first career start under center. With Andy Dalton (concussion) expected back in Week 9, Cooper should get a bit of a boost, but he still won't be the WR1 he was with Dak Prescott around. Cooper should settle into a mid-tier WR2 role for the remainder of the season, with a boost in PPR leagues.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 2:20pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper has tumbled out of the WR1 rankings for a Week 8 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. Through no fault of his own, Cooper is unlikely to do much in a game that looks like it will have seventh-round rookie Ben DiNucci starting under center in place of Andy Dalton (concussion). Dalton was already struggling to move the ball for the Cowboys and DiNucci is unlikely to do much better behind a tattered offensive line. Cooper did catch all seven of his targets for 80 yards last week, but he's only scored two touchdowns so far this season and would likely need to find the end zone to put up significant fantasy points in Week 8. Treat Cooper as a lower-upside WR2 at best.

From RotoBaller

Oct 25 6:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper caught seven passes for 80 yards against the Washington Football Team in Week 7. He was targeted seven times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Cooper was basically the passing game for Dallas this week since the team only had 114 passing yards during the game. Fantasy players will need to monitor the team's quarterback situation because Cooper's value will take a hit if Bee DiNucci starts. He can still be a starting option next week, but fantasy players may want to lower expectations.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 5:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper had the only remotely productive offensive game for the Cowboys in Week 7. He caught seven passes for 80 yards and added a carry for five more yards on the ground. Cooper was targeted seven times and caught everything sent his way. He ended up leading the team in catches, targets, and yards all by a significant margin. It was a rough game for the Cowboys in all aspects, but in the "someone has to catch the ball" situations that the Cowboys may have going forward, Cooper is the most likely to be that "someone". Cooper will remain a volume-based WR2 option regardless of the Cowboys quarterback situation going forward.

From RotoBaller

Oct 21 5:20pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper may miss the WR1 ranks for the first time this season in Week 7. With Andy Dalton under center in Week 6, Cooper caught seven passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, but most of it happened in garbage time. Combine the Dallas offense's struggles with the fact that the Washington Football Team actually defends opposing wide receivers well (allowing the second-fewest fantasy points so far) and Cooper is looking more like a mid-to-high end WR2 this week and potentially going forward.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 12:43am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper registered seven receptions for a team-high 79 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Spin: Cooper didn't have a lot of work downfield, as most of his stuff came on the short and intermediate routes with Andy Dalton making his first start of the season for the injured Dak Prescott. Fantasy owners can't be too disappointed about this showing, especially those in PPR leagues. The Cowboys travel to meet the Washington Football Team in Week 7.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 12:20am ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper bounced back from his rough Week 5 performance. He was targeted 10 times in the passing game, catching seven passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. This was very much a garbage time performance, as Cooper wasn't even targeted until late in the first half. His touchdown came from one yard out and made it a 31-10 game with about six minutes left in the game. Cooper will take a hit with the loss of Dak Prescott (ankle) for the season, but based on his talent and the fact that the Cowboys Defense will make sure the offense has to throw the ball a lot, Cooper will remain a high-end WR2.

From RotoBaller

Oct 15 5:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper will look to bounce back from a rough Week 5 in a Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Cooper was blanketed in coverage by James Bradberry last week while pretty much every other Cowboys receiving option had a plus matchup, so he was expected to struggle a bit. Still, his two catches for 23 yards was a disappointment after he saw 16 targets in Week 4. With Dak Prescott (ankle) done for the season, Andy Dalton will take over under center for the Cowboys. While he's no Dak Prescott, Dalton should be more than capable of moving the ball and scoring points. It's not too much of a downgrade for a receiver of Cooper's caliber. The Cardinals Defense doesn't often use Patrick Peterson in shadow coverage, so Cooper should be able to avoid him on some plays depending on how the Dallas offense lines up. He's a mid-range WR1 with upside this week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 12 2:33am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper caught two of his four targets for 23 yards in Week 5 against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Spin: It appeared Cooper was being shadowed by James Bradberry for most of the day, which certainly contributed to this dud. Cornerbacks of Bradberry's caliber won't be lining up across from him every week, but the bigger concern moving forward is that Dak Prescott won't be throwing him the ball anymore in 2020. Andy Dalton is a capable quarterback, however, so Cooper's fantasy owners can probably continue to fire him up as a low-end WR1 moving forward, including in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 9:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper was targeted four times in a Week 5 win, catching two of those for 23 yards. Cooper fell way behind rookie CeeDee Lamb's 11 targets, and tied with Michael Gallup's four for second on the team. Cooper and most of the Cowboys offensive players will take a hit with Dak Prescott (ankle) almost certainly out for the year. Andy Dalton can run an offense, but he's no Dak Prescott. Cooper should settle into the mid-WR2 range.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 8:20pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is set up for another strong WR1 week in most formats, but especially in PPR leagues. Cooper and the Cowboys take on the New York Giants in Week 5. The Giants haven't done much to stop opposing wide receivers so far, and they haven't faced anyone like Cooper yet. Last week, Cooper caught a dozen passes and scored a touchdown while gaining 134 yards. He may not see the 16 targets he saw in Week 4 again this week, but he's essentially a lock for a high floor and has a very high ceiling to go with it.
