Player Notes
Nov 24 1:50pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is 0-for-19 on deep passes 20-plus air yards down the field in his last four games with a 0.0 passer rating. From Weeks 1-7 on deep passes, Brady was 14-for-39 (35.9 completion percentage) with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a passer rating of 101.2. The future Hall of Famer missed on his final three deep attempts in Week 7, so he's missed on his last 22 deep attempts, which is the longest streak by any QB since 2017. Going back to Week 5, Brady is 3-for-36 on deep passes. His last four games were against the Giants, Saints, Panthers and Rams -- all teams that have been pretty solid against QBs in 2020. The Chiefs, Brady's Week 12 opponent, have also been decent against signal-callers, but they looked bad against Las Vegas on Sunday night. Brady should remain in the low-end QB1 conversation this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 1:33pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady has not completed any of his last 22 pass attempts that traveled at least 20 yards in the air, according to Next Gen Stats.

Fantasy Spin: Also per Next Gen Stats, Brady is 3-for-36 on such throws since Week 5. It's an unthinkable stat for a quarterback considered one of the greatest ever and surrounded by so much talent. However, it is also one of those baseball-type streaks that can turn around at any time. Expect Tampa Bay to get it figured out soon, although the Buccaneers will have their hands full in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 12:43am ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady completed 26-of-48 passes for 216 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Spin: Brady has tossed two touchdowns in back-to-back games, and five of the past six outings. But he also has nine interceptions through 11 games, eclipsing the eight he threw across 16 games in his final season in New England. Brady has never had more than 14 interceptions in a season, but he could eclipse that mark in 2020 at this rate. Still, he is a respectable fantasy option still. The Bucs host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 23 11:40pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady went 26-for-48 for 216 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in Week 11. Brady struggled most of the game against a powerful Rams defense and thus had a bit of an off-day. Nevertheless, the QB should remain in the low-end QB1 tier going forward as he has also had some terrific games as well. Based on his previous games though, it seems Brady does well only in favorable matchups rather than being consistent.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 9:40pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is a low-end QB1 for Week 11. Brady tossed for 341 yards and three touchdowns in a blowout win over Carolina and was fantastic. The 43-year-old has looked sharp this season and has thrown for over 300 yards in two of the past four games. It's best to temper expectations against the Rams, who allow the second-fewest points to fantasy QBs. As a result, Brady chalks in as a lower-end starting option.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 1:00pm ET

Buccaneers' QB Tom Brady scored an impressive 35.25 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 10 win in Carolina. Brady threw for 341 yards on 28-of-39 with three touchdowns.

Nov 15 5:10pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady completed 28 of 39 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns along with a rushing score in a 46-23 victory over the Panthers. Brady must have been angry following last week's loss, as he took it out on the Carolina defense to the tune of a healthy 8.7 yards per attempt. The veteran used his full complement of weapons, completing a pass to eight different receivers and tossing touchdown passes to both his tight ends. It was a tremendous bounce-back performance for Brady and a welcome one for his fantasy managers. He'll look to stay hot against a tough Rams Defense in Week 11.

Nov 15 5:03pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady completed 28-of-39 passes for 341 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers while adding a rushing score.

Fantasy Spin: Brady bounced back nicely after his good egg and disaster of a game against the New Orleans Saints last weekend. He has two or more touchdown throws in four of the past five, and six of the past eight. He remains a decent low-end QB1 in most fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into a Week 11 Monday night matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

From TheHuddle

Nov 15 4:30pm ET

Buccaneers' QB Tom Brady passed for 341 yards on 28-of-39 with three touchdowns in Sunday's win in Carolina.

Nov 14 3:20pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers left guard Ali Marpet (concussion), who has been in the league's concussion protocol the last two weeks, had his game status for Week 10 against the Panthers downgraded from questionable to out. Marpet started the first eight games at left guard before missing last Sunday's game against the Saints. Tampa started reserve tackle Joe Haeg at left guard last week. Starting center Ryan Jensen could move to guard if the team were to play A.Q. Shipley at center against Carolina. It's something to note on the Buccaneers offensive line in front of quarterback Tom Brady.

From RotoBaller

Nov 13 5:30pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is coming off a terrible three-interception performance in a 35-point loss on national television against the Saints in Week 9. Brady has had eight losses by 20 or more points in his career and is 7-1 in the games following such losses. He owns 19 touchdowns to just three interceptions in those games. Week 10 brings a Carolina defense that was just picked apart by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for 372 yards and four scores. Aside from that game, they've been solid against the pass, though Brady should be able to do enough to put up QB1 numbers.

From RotoBaller

Nov 9 1:33am ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady completed 22 of 38 passes for 209 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions during a Week 9 loss to the New Orleans Saints. He was also sacked three times.

Fantasy Spin: There was a lot of anticipation for what Tampa's offense would look like after adding Antonio Brown, but the Saints dominated bell to bell, consistently pressuring Brady and giving his receivers little room to operate. He'll try to reclaim QB1 status next weekend against Carolina.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 11:20pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady went 22-for-38 for 209 yards and three picks in the Week 9 loss to the Saints. It was an off-night for the Bucs who couldn't seem to get in sync at all. As a result, this was Brady's worst performance of the season. Nevertheless, the QB has had some great games mixed in with some average ones, meaning he lingers around the low-end QB1 tier each week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 11:00pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is a QB1 this week against the Saints. Brady threw for 279 yards last week and has been on a robust stretch that has seen him throw for nine touchdowns and zero picks in the last four games. The Saints allow the fifth-most points to fantasy QBs and Brady is firmly in the starting tier in what could be a shootout.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 12:10am ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady completed 28 of 40 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-23 win over the Giants. Brady started slow but rebounded with two second-half touchdown passes to lead his team to victory. It wasn't always pretty, as the Giants Defense pressured him at times and forced him into some errant throws, but the former Patriot ended up having a solid game. With Antonio Brown set to play in his first game as a Buccaneer in Week 9 and Chris Godwin (finger) not far off from a return, Brady is armed with high-octane weapons ahead of a key divisional matchup with the Saints.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 11:33pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady completed 28-of-40 passes for 279 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 8 against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Spin: Brady and the Bucs actually were tested by the lowly G-Men and it was a good game. Brady has now tossed two or more touchdowns in three straight, and five of the past six, and he hasn't had an interception in nearly one full calendar month, throwing nine touchdowns with no picks in the past four outings. Next up is a head-to-head battle, the second of the season, with fellow future Hall of Famer Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 8:20pm ET

Monday night's game between the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers won't have any surprise inactives, as the inactive lists for both teams largely feature the expected players. The headliners are running back Devonta Freeman (ankle) for New York, who was ruled out earlier in the week. Wide receiver Chris Godwin (finger) will not play for the Buccaneers, but he hopes to return in Week 9. For New York, expect to see more of running backWayne Gallmanalongside Dion Lewis. For Tampa, expect both receiver Scotty Miller and tight end Rob Gronkowski to see more aerial targets from quarterback Tom Brady.

From RotoBaller

Oct 31 11:10am ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is on a roll heading into a Week 8 matchup with the Giants. After a slow start to the season, Brady has now thrown for 1,454 passing yards with 15 touchdowns and just one interception in his last five contests. The Giants have been a pleasant surprise against opposing quarterbacks for fantasy this year, though they've slipped a bit, allowing at least 250 passing yards and two touchdowns to each of the last two signal-callers they've faced. Brady can be started as a solid QB1 against New York on Monday Night Football.

From RotoBaller

Oct 25 10:03pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady completed 33 of his 45 passes for 369 yards and four touchdowns and added a one-yard rushing touchdown in a 45-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Brady tied his season high in passing yards, and with the receiving corps starting to approach full strength, there could be more big games ahead. In the meantime, he is at least a matchup-based QB1.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 9:20pm ET

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady may be 43, but he sure didn't look like it on Sunday. The QB torched the Raiders by going 33-for-45 for 369 yards and four touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown. It was another terrific performance by Brady and the addition of Antonio Brown very soon could only elevate his play. The QB remains in the starting tier each week considering the numbers he has been putting up this season.
