Player Notes
Jan 8 9:50pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 23 times for 84 yards and a touchdown while losing a fumble in a 28-14 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 18. He also added a 10-yard catch on his lone target in the win. Harris powered in a four-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to put the Steelers up 20-7. The second-year running back recovered in 2022 after a slow start to the season, finishing with 1,038 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground while adding 41 catches for 229 yards and another three touchdowns through the air. Harris will go into the 2023 season as an RB2 for fantasy with a chance for more if the Pittsburgh offense either improves or gets upgraded.

Jan 6 4:50pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris will wrap up his 2022 season with a home matchup against the Cleveland Browns. After a slow start to the season, Harris has had a strong second half of the year, posting six total touchdowns since his team's Week 9 bye. The Browns represent a plus matchup for Harris as they are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. The Steelers have an outside shot at making the playoffs if they win in Week 18, so look for Harris to receive his normal workload. He is a strong option for both DFS contests and redraft leagues in Week 18.

Jan 2 6:00am ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 22 times for 111 yards and added two catches for 12 yards and a touchdown in a 16-13 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17. Harris benefitted from a very run-heavy approach on offense in Week 17, finishing with a season-high in rushing yards while the 22 carries were his second-most in 16 games. The second-year running back's touchdown catch was the game-winner, completing the comeback win with 62 seconds left on the clock. Harris will finish the season next week at home against the Cleveland Browns.

Steelers' RB Najee Harris ran for 111 yards on 22 carries but no touchdowns in Sunday's win in Baltimore.

Dec 30 6:30am ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has been on a hot streak of late, posting five touchdowns in his past six games. He will look to keep things rolling in a road matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17. Baltimore's defense has been tough on the running back position in 2022, allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game. Harris did manage to find the end zone against them in Week 14, although he averaged just 2.75 yards per carry along the way. Harris should be treated as a low-end RB2 in fantasy for Week 17.

Dec 24 11:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 16 times for 53 yards and caught six of nine targets for 42 yards in a 13-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16. While the second-year running back didn't get much going on the ground, Harris' six receptions tied a season-high while his nine targets were the most he's seen all season. Now sitting at 38 receptions on the year, Harris will get a rematch against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17. He went for 33 rushing yards and a touchdown back when these two teams met in Week 14.

Dec 21 5:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris will take on the Las Vegas Raiders at home in Week 16. Harris has been trending up over the second half of the season, having scored five touchdowns over his past five games. In Week 16, he pulls an excellent matchup against a Raiders defense that is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. Harris can be trusted as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 heading into the fantasy semifinals this weekend.

Dec 18 4:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 24 times for 86 yards and a touchdown in a 24-16 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 15. Harris scored one of three rushing touchdowns for the Steelers in their road win over Carolina. The second-year back found the end zone on a seven-yard run in the first quarter to draw first blood for Pittsburgh. Harris struggled for much of the first half of the season but he now has five touchdowns over his past five contests as he has worked his way back towards low-end RB1 status in fantasy. Harris will look to keep rolling in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Dec 16 3:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (hip) practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and was removed from the final Week 15 injury report. He's good to go for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. There was some concern when he didn't practice on Wednesday, but the Steelers were likely resting their lead back. The 24-year-old has dealt with foot, oblique and hip injuries this year, but he hasn't missed any games. In 13 games played, he has 187 carries for 704 yards and five touchdowns, adding 32 receptions for 165 yards and two more scores. It's been a big step back from when he led the NFL in total touches in his rookie season in 2021, but Harris has been better of late, scoring four rushing TDs in the last four games. Harris will be firmly in the RB2 mix this weekend against a vulnerable Panthers run D.

Dec 15 6:20pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris got in a full practice on Thursday after he missed practice with a hip injury on Wednesday. Harris's ability to return to action on Thursday bodes well for his availability heading into a Week 15 showdown against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have been a neutral matchup for running backs in 2022, allowing the 15th-most fantasy points per game to the position and posting a run defense that ranks 19th in the league in DVOA. Harris sets up as a mid-range RB2 heading into Week 15.

Dec 14 8:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (hip) was held out of practice on Wednesday with a hip ailment. It seems to always be something with Harris. The 24-year-old had previously been dealing with an oblique injury, but now he's listed with a hip injury ahead of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 15. Harris played 56 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens and finished with 12 carries for 33 yards and one touchdown, adding two catches for 17 yards. The second-year back has been a huge disappointment in 2022, but he has scored four times on the ground in the last four games. If Harris is limited or out in Week 15, rookie Jaylen Warren would likely serve as Pittsburgh's lead ball-carrier.

Dec 11 9:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris gained 33 yards on 12 carries while scoring a touchdown in his team's 16-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. Harris also added two catches for 17 yards in the loss. The second-year running back found the end zone on a one-yard run in the first quarter, giving him five rushing touchdowns on the season. Harris remains the team's workhorse as Jaylen Warren and Benny Snell Jr. only combined to handle five carries. Firmly settled in as a mid-range RB2 for fantasy, Harris will take on the Carolina Panthers on the road in Week 15.

Dec 9 1:50pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (oblique) will play against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14, as he was removed from the final injury report for Sunday. Harris didn't practice on Wednesday but was upgraded to a limited participant in Thursday's practice before taking in a full practice on Friday. Baltimore has a weak secondary that teams easily exploit, but they have allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs. That said, Harris has a wide range of outcomes. Jaylen Warren is back to full health and could start taking a ton of work from Harris, so his floor isn't safe. All that said, he's still a virtual must-start with the current climate of the running back position in fantasy.

Dec 8 6:20pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (oblique) was only able to get in a limited practice session on Thursday. The 24-year-old suffered an oblique injury in Week 12, but was able to play through it last week. This seems like the Steelers are just being cautious with Harris, so fantasy managers shouldn't be too concerned. It sounds like he'll be fine for this weekend, assuming he doesn't suffer a setback during Friday's practice. He'll be in the RB2 mix for the upcoming matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

From RotoBaller

Dec 7 4:00pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (oblique) didn't take part in practice on Wednesday. Harris picked up an oblique injury in Week 12 but played through it in the Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons, carrying the ball 17 times for 86 yards while also catching a pass for six yards. The 24-year-old didn't have a setback last Sunday, so the Steelers are likely just managing his repetitions heading into the Week 14 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. As long as Harris returns to practice later this week, he should be Pittsburgh's lead back this weekend. After leading all RBs in the NFL in his rookie season in touches, Harris has been a big disappointment in his sophomore season and has become an RB2.

Dec 5 11:13am ET

Dynasty | Running back Najee Harris produced 86 yards on 17 carries in the Steelers' victory over Atlanta in week 13. Dynasty Analysis: The Steelers have quietly won three of four and Harris has looked like his old self with the ball in his hands, though reception volume remains muted. Over his past four games, he's produced 310 yards and three touchdowns on 67 carries, good for a 4.6 ypc. average. With many off the Harris bandwagon citing similarities to mega-bust Trent Richardson, it's now beginning to appear as though that overlay may be inaccurate and, instead, simply be due to a team struggling to find its footing after the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger. In any event, Najee Harris is found as DLF's RB13 and remains a battleground acquisition target.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Dec 4 6:00pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 17 times for 86 yards and added a six-yard catch in a 19-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13. Harris dominated the backfield work for the Steelers and showed no issues with the oblique injury that knocked him out of Week 12 early. After a slow start to the year, the second-year running back has been on a hot streak of late, going for either 86 rushing yards or a touchdown in each of his past four contests. Harris will be on the RB1/RB2 borderline in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens.

From RotoBaller

Dec 2 8:55pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (oblique) is not on the team's final injury report, so he'll start against the Falcons in Week 13. Harris totaled 39 yards and a touchdown on 11 touches before leaving last Monday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, but he's good to go. Jaylen Warren (hamstring) is officially questionable, and his status could have a major impact on Harris' outlook. When Warren was active, Harris' touches were limited, but when he was out, Harris looked like the workhorse RB he was in his rookie season. It's tough to bench Harris either way, but his ceiling will be limited a bit if Warren is full-go.

Dec 1 5:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (oblique) missed his second straight day of practice this week on Thursday, while running back Benny Snell Jr. (knee) popped up on the injury report after putting in a limited practice. Harris picked up an oblique injury that isn't considered serious in Monday night's win over the Indianapolis Colts, but he's looking very iffy for Sunday's game versus the Atlanta Falcons. Snell and Anthony McFarland Jr. combined to split the backfield work on Monday when Harris departed. Rookie Jaylen Warren (hamstring) was inactive in Week 12 and has been cleared to return this weekend, so if Harris is out, there's a good chance that Warren will lead Pittsburgh's backfield this Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Nov 30 8:00pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (oblique) didn't practice on Wednesday after getting injured in the Monday night win over the Indianapolis Colts. Harris' injury isn't believed to be serious, but his status for the Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons is up in the air. Benny Snell Jr. and Anthony McFarland Jr. stepped in on Monday after Harris was injured. Snell finished with 12 carries for 62 yards and a touchdown, adding one catch for six yards. McFarland had six carries for 30 yards and two catches for 11 yards. Rookie Jaylen Warren (hamstring) missed Monday's game but practiced in full on Wednesday and said "I'm ready to go" for this weekend. If Harris is limited or out this weekend, it's possible that Warren would lead the Steelers backfield against Atlanta.
