Player Notes
Jan 15 12:30am ET

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III found the endzone in the loss to the 49ers on Wild Card Weekend. The rookie carried the ball 15 times, finishing with 63 rushing yards and a touchdown. Walker had a very impressive rookie campaign and will look to build on it next year with Seattle. Walker led all rookies in rushing yards this year and will look to improve on his rookie campaign in 2023. Quarterback Geno Smith will likely return next year, meaning this offense should be as efficient as it was this season.

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is no longer appearing on the injury report on Thursday. The rookie has played a big part in the offensive success of the Seahawks this season as he amassed 1215 total yards from scrimmage and nine rushing touchdowns. Removing him from the injury report is huge news but his two games against the San Francisco 49ers didn't go too well. He could only post 10 and 47 yards respectively in both games with no touchdowns. While he was a solid fantasy contributor all season, he'll be hard to trust against this defense.

Jan 11 8:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle, quadriceps) both missed practice on Wednesday. Walker was a full participant on Tuesday, while Dallas has now missed the first two practices of the week. The Seahawks are likely just resting Walker ahead of Saturday's wild-card showdown against the San Francisco 49ers, but Dallas could be in real danger of sitting out this weekend. The 22-year-old Walker sat out with his ankle injury in Week 14, but he has played ever since and has totaled 450 scrimmage yards and no touchdowns in four games. He'll be Seattle's unquestioned lead back in a tough matchup against San Fran's D, which will likely lead many to fade him in playoff lineups. In his two games against the Niners, Walker has 16 carries for only 57 yards and no TDs, adding six catches for 37 yards through the air.

Jan 8 9:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III put an exclamation mark on his impressive rookie campaign against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, rushing for 114 yards on 29 carries and adding one catch for 10 receiving yards. The 2022 second-round draft pick, who is the odds-on favorite for Rookie of the Year this season, padded his resume by topping 1,000 rushing yards for the season in Week 18. Walker III and the Seahawks await the result of Sunday Night Football to find out their playoff fate.

Jan 8 8:30pm ET

Seahawks' RB Kenneth Walker III ran for 114 yards on 29 carries but no touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Rams. It was Walker III's 3rd consecutive 100+ yard rushing performance. He has averaged 118 yards rushing in those games.

Jan 6 5:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle, illness) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) were both removed from the final injury report on Friday and will play in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams. Meanwhile, Travis Homer (ankle) is listed as doubtful to play. A win on Sunday and a Lions win over the Packers on Sunday night would propel the Seahawks to the playoffs as the No. 7 seed in the NFC, so Walker will have a normal workload as the team's top running back in this one. The 22-year-old has had 20-plus touches and over 100 rushing yards in each of the last two games and is a great fantasy option at RB in DFS and single-year leagues in Week 18. Walker enters the week with 936 rushing yards, so there's a good chance he hit the 1,000-yard mark in his first NFL campaign.

Jan 5 8:40pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle, illness), DeeJay Dallas (ankle) and Travis Homer (ankle) all missed practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. At the moment, Godwin Igwebuike is the only healthy RB on Seattle's active roster. We'll have more clarity on the situation after Friday's final injury report is released, but all of Walker, Dallas and Homer will likely need to return to at least a limited practice in order to have a shot at playing in a must-win game in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams. The 22-year-old Walker will continue to handle the lion's share of Seattle's backfield duties if he's healthy enough to play. He has two straight 100-yard performances.

Jan 4 9:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle, illness) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday. Walker has been battling an ankle injury since Week 13 and has had practice reps capped. The 22-year-old missed Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers but has played the last three weeks. His ankle injury hasn't limited Walker, as the rookie running back has logged back-to-back 100-yard rushing efforts. The second-round pick is 64 yards from a 1,000-yard campaign and will look to hit that milestone against the Rams in Week 18. Dallas has been dealing with the last few weeks and missed two games in Weeks 14-15 from a high-ankle injury. The 24-year-old has rushed for 53 yards and nine catches for 87 yards over the last games since returning to action in Week 16. Dallas will have two more chances to practice this week ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams.

Jan 1 10:40pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III ran all over the Jets in the Week 17 win. The rookie carried the ball 23 times for 133 yards and hauled in his lone target for nine yards. The 22-year-old started the game hot, going on a 60-yard run early in the game. This is now the second game in a row that he has gone over the century mark, and he will have a great matchup next week against the Los Angeles Rams.

Jan 1 7:30pm ET

Seahawks' RB Kenneth Walker III ran for 133 yards on 23 carries but no touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Jets. It was Walker III's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard rushing performance. He has averaged 120 yards rushing in those games.

Jan 1 2:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (hand) and running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) are active for Week 17 against the New York Jets. Both players had been listed as questionable. Lockett missed just one week and now returns for the Seahawks' final two games with a surgically-repaired hand. He has a favorable matchup but could be hindered by his injury, dropping him to the low-end WR2 tier. Meanwhile, Walker was expected to play all along. He'll rank as a low-end RB2.

Dec 30 6:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) is listed as questionable to play in Week 17 versus the New York Jets, but head coach Pete Carroll said that Walker should be good to go on Sunday. Travis Homer (ankle) is also questionable for Seattle's backfield, but with DeeJay Dallas taking on the No. 2 role, Homer has once again become irrelevant in fantasy. Unless Walker suffers a setback between now and Sunday, he should be Seattle's unquestioned lead back this weekend. In last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the 22-year-old saw 28 touches for 105 scrimmage yards. He's been the RB21 on the year in half-point PPR setups and should be considered a high-end RB2 on volume alone against the Jets.

Dec 29 9:10pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) were both limited participants during Thursday's practice. Walker missed just one game back in Week 14, and while the rookie has remained on the injury report since then, he has looked good in game action. Just last Sunday, he rushed the ball 26 times for 107 yards versus Kansas City. Dallas, on the other hand, played a key role in the passing game last week, hauling in all six of his targets for 32 yards through the air. He has some added intrigue in PPR formats but still ranks as a low-end RB4 for the time being.

From RotoBaller

Dec 28 8:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) did not take part in practice on Wednesday, while DeeJay Dallas (ankle) was listed as a limited participant. Running back Travis Homer (ankle) was also listed as a DNP. As long as Walker returns to practice on Thursday, he should be expected to once again lead Seattle's backfield in Week 17 in a matchup with the New York Jets. The 22-year-old RB saw 28 touches in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and produced 105 scrimmage yards in the process. Dallas and Homer combined for just eight targets, so Walker remains Seattle's clear lead back. He should be considered an RB2 this weekend as the overall RB21 in half-point PPR scoring through 16 weeks of the season.

Dec 24 7:00pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III hit the century mark in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The rookie carried the ball 26 times for 107 yards and added two receptions for -2 yards. Walker was a bit banged up going into this game but got a full workload, but unfortunately couldn't get into the endzone. Walker will have a more challenging matchup next week against the New York Jets.

Dec 24 4:30pm ET

Seahawks' RB Kenneth Walker III ran for 107 yards on 26 carries but no touchdowns in Saturday's loss in Kansas City.

Dec 24 11:50am ET

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle, back) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) are active for Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Walker didn't practice all week but will suit up for Week 16. The 22-year-old rushed 12 times for 47 yards and brought in four of five targets for 32 yards in the Week 15 loss to the 49ers. Walker has RB2 value and will look to bounce back against Kansas City. Dallas will serve as Walker's backup and not on the fantasy radar in Week 16.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 6:40pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) are expected to suit up for the Week 16 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs despite being listed as questionable on the final injury report. It sounds like head coach Pete Carroll plans on having both backs available this weekend. The organization waived backup Tony Jones Jr. which shows they have faith in Walker and Dallas being healthy. Travis Homer has struggled as the No. 2 back, so Dallas should immediately return to the backup role. Neither player should be viewed as a reliable streaming choice this weekend. Walker will have RB2 value, assuming he's healthy enough to play this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Dec 21 8:40pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) missed his second straight day of practice this week on Wednesday, putting his availability for Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday in question. Walker will need to get back on the practice field on Thursday to have a shot at playing this weekend. The 22-year-old rookie missed Week 14 before returning to carry the ball 12 times for 47 yards in last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He also had four catches for 32 yards. If Walker is active, he'll be in play as an RB2 for fantasy manager, although he could be faced with poor game script against the Chiefs. Walker ranks second in rushing yards among rookies this year, trailing only Dameon Pierce. If he is unable to play, Travis Homer would likely serve as Seattle's lead back.

From RotoBaller

Dec 20 7:40pm ET

Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) did not take part in Tuesday's practice, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Walker missed Week 14 with his ankle injury but was able to return in last Thursday night's loss to the San Francisco 49ers, when he contributed 12 carries for 47 yards and caught four of his five targets for 32 yards on 75 percent of the offensive snaps. There's a good chance the Seahawks are taking it easy on the 22-year-old back, but fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status the rest of the week. DeeJay Dallas (ankle) has missed the last two games, so if Walker is out or limited in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Homer would likely lead this backfield. Walker is second among rookie RBs with 678 rushing yards and nine rushing scores and is currently the RB21 in half-point PPR formats.
