Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy has often taken a backseat to Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce this season, but this week, he will also have to contend with one of the toughest defenses in the league. Worthy caught four passes for 61 yards and rushed twice for 13 yards in last week's Thanksgiving loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The speedy wideout finished second on the team in receiving yardage, but it should be tougher sledding this week against Houston. The Texans defense has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season, which does not bode well for Worthy, given his lower target share. Worthy is ranked WR40 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a deeper league flex option in Week 14.

Nov 26 4:10pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was listed on the injury report this week with an ankle injury, but logged two full practices before being removed from the report ahead of Thursday's game. Worthy was second in the receiving pecking order, behind Rashee Rice, in last week's win over the Indianapolis Colts. Worthy caught four passes for 59 yards on eight targets in Week 12. Despite his solid performance last week, Worthy has been a difficult player for fantasy managers to trust this season. In Weeks 10 and 11, Worthy failed to catch more than three passes and did not eclipse 30 receiving yards in either game. With Rice dominating targets and Kelce remaining heavily involved, Worthy has often been relegated to third or fourth in targets. Worthy will have a chance to have a boom game this week against the Cowboys, who have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. This week's matchup is also tied for the highest total of the week, meaning there should be a lot of points scored for both teams. Worthy is ranked WR43 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, putting him deep-league flex territory mainly due to his inconsistency. That said, fantasy managers could roll the dice with Worthy this week since the passing volume should be high for the Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) was listed as a full participant in Tuesday's practice session, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Worthy was estimated as limited in Monday's walk-through, but was upgraded to full on Tuesday and should be all good to go for Kansas City's Week 13 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The second-year wideout recorded four catches for 59 yards on eight targets in the Chiefs' win over the Colts in Week 12, his most yards in a game since Week 4 against the Ravens. Worthy made one of the biggest plays of the game on the Chiefs' final drive to set up the game-winning field goal, beating his man deep for a 31-yard gain on a third down. He has a great matchup against the Cowboys in Week 13, where he will again rank in the WR3 range.

Nov 24 7:20pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) remains on the team's injury report and was listed as limited on Monday on the estimated practice report, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Worthy has been managing an ankle injury for the last several weeks, but he hasn't missed any time and should be fine to suit up on Thanksgiving on Thursday for a matchup on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. The 22-year-old second-year pass-catcher played 77% of the offensive snaps in Sunday's overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts to finish with four catches on eight targets for 59 yards. The 59 receiving yards were the most for Worthy since Sept. 28 against the Ravens, when he had a season-high 83 yards. Worthy has left a lot to be desired for his fantasy managers in 2025, and his upside has been limited ever since Rashee Rice returned from his suspension. The matchup against Dallas is a nice one in Week 13, but Worthy has become a low-ceiling WR4/flex in fantasy.

Nov 23 10:50am CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) is officially active on Sunday against the visiting Indianapolis Colts in Week 12, according to Matt McMullen of Chiefs.com. Worthy is dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered in practice back on Nov. 13. The Chiefs listed him as questionable this weekend, but he will be out there as the team looks to avoid falling below .500 on the season. The 22-year-old second-year wideout has taken a back seat in the offense since Rashee Rice returned from his suspension. Worthy has only found the end zone once this year, too, and it came back on Oct. 12 in the win over the Detroit Lions. Since then, Worthy has gone over 50 receiving yards once in four games. On the year, the Texas product has an uninspiring 27-281-1 line in eight games played. He missed two games earlier this season with a dislocated shoulder.

Nov 23 12:10am CT

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) is expected to play in Sunday's home matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Worthy picked up an ankle injury mid-week during the team's preparations for a game against the Broncos in Week 11, but carried no designation into the contest. After missing practice on Wednesday, the second-year pro was able to upgrade his status each ensuing day, and appears to be on the right side of questionable heading into a juicy outing against an exploitable Colts' pass defense. As it stands, fantasy managers can expect him to be out there for his usual allotment of snaps. Worthy profiles as a solid WR3 play in a game with a 50.5-point over/under.

Nov 22 7:00pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's showdown against the Indianapolis Colts, but is trending in the right direction. Worthy opened the practice week as a DNP on Wednesday, but was upgraded to a full participant on Friday, an encouraging sign for his chances to suit up. It's been an underwhelming second season for the 2024 first-round pick, recording 27 catches for 281 yards and a touchdown on 45 targets in eight games. The 22-year-old unfortunately suffered a dislocated shoulder in the first game of the season, which caused him to miss two games and has likely impacted his performance to an extent. And he's recently been dealing with an ankle injury. Worthy has had back-to-back games with only three catches for a combined 47 yards, but will look to break out in Week 12 against a Colts defense that will likely play a heavy amount of man coverage with Sauce Gardner and Charvarius Ward (concussion) back from injured reserve. Worthy ranks as RotoBaller's WR34 in PPR leagues.

Nov 21 2:20pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) is officially questionable to play in Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts as he battles an ankle injury. However, Pete Sweeney of The Kansas City Star reports that "all indications this week were that (Worthy) is trending in the right direction." Worthy was able to practice in full on Friday after starting the week as a non-participant in practice. Across eight games this season, the 22-year-old has recorded 27 receptions for 281 yards and one touchdown on 45 targets. It's been a particular struggle of late for Worthy, as he's recorded at least five catches or 50 receiving yards just once in his last five games. If active against Indianapolis, Worthy profiles as a low-end fantasy WR3 in Week 12.

Nov 21 12:40pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) is on the practice field on Friday, according to Pete Sweeney of The Kansas City Star. Worthy did not practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury, but he returned to a limited practice on Thursday. The 22-year-old might need a full practice on Friday to avoid a questionable tag going into the weekend, but either way, the second-year speedster appears to be on the right side of questionable to play this Sunday versus the visiting Indianapolis Colts. Worthy has not missed any time this year due to his ankle injury, but he did miss Weeks 2 and 3 due to a dislocated shoulder. He currently has 27 catches for 281 yards and only one touchdown on 45 targets in 2025, and he has become a less reliable fantasy wideout since the return of Rashee Rice.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 2:00pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) will practice "in some capacity" on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session, Pete Sweeney of the KCStar reports. Worthy will likely be listed as a limited participant on Thursday, but it's positive to see him return to the practice field and gives him a chance to suit up in Week 12. The 22-year-old recorded just three catches for 25 yards on five targets in the loss to Denver and hasn't found the end zone since Week 6 against the Lions, which is also his only touchdown this season. Worthy's status will be updated as the week progresses, and if the speedy wideout is able to play, he will rank as a low-end WR3 for Sunday's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) didn't participate in practice on Wednesday, according to the team's official website. Worthy tweaked his ankle during the Chiefs' Week 11 loss at the Denver Broncos, and his absence on Wednesday signals some doubt for his chances to suit up in Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts. The 22-year-old wideout has dealt with multiple injuries this season, including a dislocated shoulder back in the season opener against the Chargers that caused him to miss two games. Worthy has had a disappointing stretch of games for fantasy managers since Rashee Rice returned in Week 7, recording 14 catches for 136 yards and no touchdowns on 23 targets across those four games. He'll have two more chances to practice this week to determine his status for a big Week 12 matchup against the Colts.

From RotoBaller

Nov 19 12:40pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) is dealing with a tweaked ankle, and the team will see how he's feeling in regards to practice on Wednesday, per Matt McMullen of the team's official site. It leaves Worthy's status in doubt for this Sunday's battle against the visiting Indianapolis Colts. The 22-year-old second-year wideout played 76% of the offensive snaps in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos, recording three catches on five targets for 25 yards. Worthy was listed with an ankle injury last week, too, but he was eventually cleared to play in Week 11. Since the return of Rashee Rice, Worthy hasn't been nearly as intriguing as a lineup play for fantasy managers. He has not scored since Week 6 (his only TD of the year), and he's had two or three catches in four of the last five games.

Nov 15 4:00am CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy will take on the Denver Broncos in Week 11. Worthy should be well-rested coming out of the team's Week 10 bye, but it may not matter given his lack of production lately. Worthy was set to open the season as the team's clear WR1 during Rashee Rice's suspension, but Travis Kelce ran into Worthy, derailing his season in the opening quarter of Week 1. Worthy returned from his shoulder injury in Week 4 and racked up five catches for 83 yards, along with some usage in the run game. It was a promising first game, but it has been downhill since for Worthy. The speedy wideout has now caught three or fewer passes in three of his last four games. Worthy has only managed to eclipse 50 receiving yards twice in six games this season, and now he has to contend with Rice for targets. Worthy will also face the Broncos defense this week, the toughest matchup for opposing wide receivers this season. Worthy is ranked WR29 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, putting him in WR3/Flex range this week.

Nov 14 6:00pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Worthy tweaked his ankle during Thursday's practice session. However, Worthy practiced in full on Friday and won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game. Worthy has taken a backseat in the offense since Rashee Rice returned in Week 7. He has seen 14 targets over the last two games, hauling in eight passes for 76 yards. Worthy still has enough upside to warrant plugging in as a WR3 for this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Nov 13 3:40pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle) was added to Thursday's injury report as a limited practice participant due to an ankle injury, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. While the exact nature of Worthy's ankle issue is not yet clear, a midweek injury raises questions about his status for Kansas City's Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Across seven games this season, Worthy has recorded 24 receptions for 256 yards and a touchdown on 40 targets. If he's unable to play against Denver, Chiefs wideouts Marquise Brown and Tyquan Thornton are the most likely candidates to step into a larger role alongside star wide receiver Rashee Rice. Should Worthy be available, he profiles as a low-end WR3/flex option for fantasy managers this week in a tough matchup against the Broncos.

From RotoBaller

Nov 11 8:30pm CT

Before his team's Week 10 bye, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was struggling to be consistently productive. In his final three games before the bye, Worthy recorded 11 catches for 111 yards and zero touchdowns on 18 targets. For the season, the 22-year-old has hauled in just 24 receptions for 256 yards and one touchdown on 40 targets across seven games. Worthy appears to have taken a clear backseat to wide receiver Rashee Rice and tight end Travis Kelce in the Kansas City passing game. Worthy has also seen his red-zone usage decrease in 2025, after scoring nine touchdowns across 17 games as a rookie in 2024. The Chiefs will face a difficult matchup in Week 11 when they travel to Denver to take on the Broncos, so Worthy's struggles may continue coming out of the bye.
