Kupp had some injury issues for a second straight season, missing five games. He still managed to catch 59 passes for 737 yards and five touchdowns. If he can get through a full season, Kupp has 84 receptions for 1,044 yards and seven touchdowns. Kupp still had three games with 20-plus fantasy points and double-digit points seven of 12 games. He was targeted double-digit times four different games. The emergence of Puka Nacua certainly took away targets from Kupp, though. And this could be the case going forward. Kupp could be declining some at this stage of his career. He has logged a ton of catches over seven seasons. He will remain a big part of the Rams passing game but he probably isn't the go-to option for Matthew Stafford anymore. Kupp has great hands and is a top route runner. He does lack some top-end speed, but he'll catch a ton of passes and doesn't let that slow him down one bit. He knows his limitations and makes the most of his abilities. He remains one of the elite route runners in the game.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Kupp is not going to go for nearly the same price as past seasons and for good reason. Injuries and a decrease in production is a concern. He can remain a solid No. 2 for fantasy teams, though. He will rack up the catches, giving him a good weekly floor. Look for around 90 receptions for 1,100 yards and seven touchdowns.
It was certainly a roller-coaster ride of a season in 2023 for Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who first began the year on injured reserve due to a hamstring strain. Kupp then returned to his elite ways with 15 receptions (21 targets) for 266 yards and one touchdown in the first two games of the campaign, but he fell off a cliff over the subsequent five contests during the heart of the season. From Weeks 7 through 11, the 30-year-old star wideout recorded fewer than six full-PPR fantasy points in each outing, averaging 2.4 catches (6.0 targets) for 25.4 yards with zero total scores across this cold spell. Kupp was able to heat up down the stretch, however, with 6.4 catches (8.8 targets) and 68.8 yards per game as well as four total TDs to rank as a top-12 fantasy receiver covering his last five matchups of the campaign and aid LA's playoff push. Not a whole lot stands out for Kupp in terms of underlying metrics otherwise, but a 91.4% snap share grants him a safe fantasy floor, and his 19 red-zone targets in just 12 games buoys his ceiling despite a lack of downfield targets along with the emergence of fellow star wideout Puka Nacua. Kupp's rapport with quarterback Matthew Stafford in a Rams offense led by offensive mastermind Sean McVay should keep the former triple-crown receiver in play as an every-week WR2 in 2024 regardless of format.

ESPN's Sarah Barshop lists Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp as one of the team's most surprising offseason standouts, which even she admits is odd. Kupp, who was the 2021 receiving triple-crown winner, has played through significant injuries in each of the past two seasons. He finished 2023 with 59 catches for 737 yards and five touchdowns, his fewest receiving yards since 2018, when he played in only eight games. However, Kupp is healthy this offseason, and it showed on the practice field. Head coach Sean McVay said during organized team activities that he doesn't think "anyone really understands the amount of things [Kupp was] working through last season" with his injury and that the receiver has been able to build his body "from the ground up." Fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting the 2021 version of Kupp anymore, especially with Puka Nacua in the fold, but if he's healthy, he can still deliver value as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 in 2024.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring) was limited to just 12 games in 2023 after dealing with a hamstring injury during the summer and averaged just 61.4 yards per game, the second-lowest mark of his career. He finished with 737 yards and five touchdowns, the second-fewest totals since he entered the league in 2017. Kupp did have four 100-yard games, but it was clear that he was never fully healthy last year. But the 30-year-old says he's fully healthy in 2024 and it's the first time in a while he's felt 100% during the offseason program. Kupp should be able to rebound with better health this year, but he's also no longer a spring chicken and will have to deal with the emergence of fellow receiver Puka Nacua, who had a phenomenal rookie campaign. It's hard to imagine Kupp returning to peak form when led the league in catches (145), yards (1,947) and touchdowns (16) in 2021.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp was never fully healthy last season, according to head coach Sean McVay. 'He looks strong,' McVay said. 'He looks sturdy. He's having fun. He's enjoying it.'
Fantasy Spin: After his incredible 2021 season, Kupp has battled injuries in each of the past two years. Between the health concerns and the emergence of Puka Nacua, Kupp is probably best suited as a WR3 in 2024.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp did not produce much in the team's 24-23 wildcard loss to the Detroit Lions. Kupp caught five of his nine targets for just 27 yards. In his final game of the season, he finished with the sixth-most receiving yards on the team and did not end on a strong note. It has been clear that rookie WR Puka Nacua has overtaken Kupp as the team's number one receiver and that should be expected to remain going forward. Consider the former All-Pro as a high-end WR2 in fantasy drafts next season.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp caught five of his nine targets for 27 yards in a 24-23 loss to the Detroit Lions in the NFC Wild Card game.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has taken a backseat to rookie phenom Puka Nacua this season. While Kupp has still had some big games and has been a solid option, he does not offer the same ceiling he once did. However, he has been one of the most dominant playoff performers in recent history. Through six playoff game appearances, the 30-year-old has averaged over 100 receiving yards and one touchdown per game. The team now faces the Detroit Lions on Sunday, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. While Nacua should still be considered the number one, Kupp is a great DFS option this week.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (non-injury), RB Kyren Williams (non-injury), WR Cooper Kupp (non-injury) and TE Tyler Higbee (shoulder) have been declared inactive for the Week 18 game.
Fantasy Spin: The Rams have clinched a playoff spot, so they are resting most of their skill players. Ronnie Rivers, Royce Freeman and Davis Allen will have some value in fantasy leagues, but fantasy players can consider other options for their lineups.
From TheHuddle
The Los Angeles Rams have declared DL Aaron Donald, QB Matthew Stafford, WR Cooper Kupp, OT Joe Noteboom, TE Tyler Higbee, RB Kyren Williams and LB Ernest Jones inactive for Week 18.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 5, but is listed as doubtful for Week 18.
Fantasy Spin: Kupp will not play again until the playoffs, so Demarcus Robinson probably will be the main receiver for the Rams in Week 18. He should see a decent amount of targets and can be a flex option in some leagues.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams OT Joe Noteboom (foot), TE Tyler Higbee (shoulder), C Brian Allen (illness) and QB Matthew Stafford (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 4. RB Kyren Williams (non-injury), WR Cooper Kupp (non-injury) and DT Aaron Donald (non-injury) were limited during practice. OT Rob Havenstein (non-injury), S Jordan Fuller (ankle), DE Desjuan Johnson (toe), DT Bobby Brown III (knee), CB Tre Tomlinson (hamstring) and CB Duke Shelley (hamstring) fully participated in practice.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp will not play against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18, according to head coach Sean McVay.
Fantasy Spin: With the Rams locked into the playoffs but with the division title of reach, McVay is opting to rest several starters. Kupp's absence opens up more targets for other receivers, but it will be Carson Wentz under center.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp will be held out of the Week 18 contest versus the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams are choosing to rest Kupp, quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Kyren Williams and defensive tackle Aaron Donald despite the fact that they could fall to the No. 7 seed in the NFC with a loss this weekend. Kupp thus finishes his 2023 season with 59 catches on 95 targets for 737 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games played. He put up slightly better numbers in 2022 despite playing in three fewer games, making this year a pretty big disappointment after missing the first four games of the year due to an injury suffered in training camp. With Kupp resting in Week 18, rookie Puka Nacua, Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell will have bigger roles, albeit with Carson Wentz throwing them the pigskin.
