Kroft had four reception for 57 yards in 11 games with the 49ers last season. He got little playing time in a deep reserve role for the team. Kroft remains best suited for a reserve role and will try to earn that this season once again. Kroft has more than 20 receptions in a season just once in his career. Kroft is a solid pass-catching tight end that plays more like a receiver than a tight end. He is a tall target with plus speed and decent hands. He isn't much of a blocker, though, but has improved since entering the league.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Kroft has helped fantasy teams just one season in his career. Expect more of the same this year. He might get 10 receptions for 100 yards and a score.
