The big scores seemed to come back this week in fantasy land. After a few uneven weeks of action, there were a lot more players with big-time fantasy performances, leading to higher scores. Several quarterbacks and receivers posted really big numbers. And we finally got to see what one rookie back can do handing all the work, and he didn’t disappoint. Hopefully, your fantasy team was able to take advantage of some of these big performances in Week 13.

Cowboys 27, Saints 17

Fantasy Stud: Taysom Hill. So Hill struggled throwing the ball and turned it over four times. He did not have a good performance on the field, but still was a big help to fantasy teams. He had a 100-yard rushing performance and threw two touchdown passes. So despite his bad accuracy and turnovers, Hill scored 27.3 fantasy points. He is going to be a top-10 fantasy quarterback this week. Needless to say, he has a high weekly floor in a starting role for the Saints. He did hurt his finger in the game, which is something to watch going forward. This likely impacted his throwing, leading to some of the bad picks.

Fantasy Dud: Mark Ingram. Ingram returned to the lineup and got the start with Alvin Kamara out. Unfortunately, he had one of his worst games of the season. He ran 10 times for just 28 yards and had just a catch. Ingram had at least 17 fantasy points two straight and 11 points three straight before this dud of a showing. His numbers were impacted by less work in the passion game. Ty Montgomery was in on passing downs, cutting down on Ingram’s playing time.

Game Notes: CeeDee Lamb returned from his concussion and had a big game, catching seven passes for 89 yards. He also ran once for 33 yards, giving him 122 total yards. He had 13 targets in the game, which was his second highest total of the season.

Deonte Harris had four receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. His yardage total was a season high. He has double-digit fantasy points three of five games.

Bucs 30, Falcons 17

Fantasy Stud: Chris Godwin. Godwin didn’t have one of the four touchdown receptions but still had a monster game. He had 15 receptions for 143 yards. He also ran once for nine yards, giving him 30.2 fantasy points despite failing to score a touchdown. It was quite the performance from Godwin. He now has four games with 25-plus fantasy points this year. Godwin is having another big season as the top target in this offense.

Fantasy Dud: Ronald Jones. Jones had just two touches for two yards. Jones had touchdowns two straight games, so he got some play this week in a favorable matchup. He did next to nothing, though, showing he is nearly impossible to trust for fantasy teams.with Leonard Fournette getting most of the work for the Bucs at running back.

Game Notes: Tom Brady had another four-touchdown performance. He was 38-of-51 for 368 yards and four touchdowns with an interception. Brady has six games with four or more touchdowns.

Russell Gage had a double-digit reception game for first time all season. He had 11 catches for 130 yards. He has at least five receptions three straight games.

Cardinals 33, Bears 22

Fantasy Stud: Kyler Murray. Murray returned to the lineup from his ankle injury and had a great performance in tough, rainy conditions. He had a four-touchdown performance. Murray was 11-of-15 for 123 yards and two touchdowns passing. He also ran 10 times for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Murray topped 30 fantasy points for the first time since Week 2.

Fantasy Dud: Darnell Mooney. Mooney had been red hot but cooled off in Week 13. He had five receptions for just 27 yards. He had at least 12 fantasy points four straight before this showing. The good news is he still had five receptions in the game. The bad news is he had little room to run after those catches. He’ll be fine going forward, but this game was a disappointing showing for Mooney.

Game Notes: DeAndre Hopkins finally made his return from his hamstring injury and found the end zone. He had two receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown. This was his eighth touchdown of the season.

David Montgomery had arguably his best showing of the year. He ran 21 times for 90 yards and a touchdown, and had eight receptions for 51 yards. Montgomery had a season-high 28.1 fantasy points. 

Chargers 41, Bengals 22

Fantasy Stud: Tee Higgins. Higgins has really picked up his play. He caught nine passes for 138 yards and a touchdown. Higgins has two straight 100-yard games and scores in each of those games. He has 23-plus points two straight. He started his season slow but has really picked it up, having 78 or more yards four of five games.

Fantasy Dud: Joe Burrow. Burrow wasn’t horrible but didn’t produce well because of three turnovers. He was 24-of-40 for 300 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions and a lost fumble. He did run in a score, rushing once for a six-yard touchdown. Burrow just topped 23 fantasy points, giving him four straight disappointing games for his fantasy owners.

Game Notes: Justin Herbert had a really good game, going 26-of-35 for 317 yards and three touchdowns with an interception. He also had a reception on a two-point try, helping his fantasy point total. Herbert has 300-yard games four of five.

Mike Williams had his third 100-yard game. He caught five passes for 110 yards on seven targets.

Lions 29, Vikings 27

Fantasy Stud: Justin Jefferson. Jefferson had one of the better fantasy receiver games of the season. He had 11 receptions for 182 yards and a touchdown. He had 35.6 fantasy points, giving him at least 23 fantasy points three of four games. Jefferson is making a legit run at top fantasy receiver in the game this season.

Fantasy Dud: Adam Thielen. Thielen had just a catch for no gain in this one. He also left the game early because of an ankle injury. It was a terrible day for all his fantasy owners. He had two straight 22-plus fantasy point games before this dud. And his ankle injury is one to watch going forward. It is cause for concern.

Game Notes: Amon-Ra St. Brown had his best showing of his rookie season, catching the game-winning score in the process. He had 10 receptions fro 86 yards and a touchdown.

Alexander Mattison had a good showing in a starting role once again. He ran 22 times for 90 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three passes for 34 yards, giving him 124 total yards.

Dolphins 20, Giants 9

Fantasy Stud: Jaylen Waddle. Waddle continued his hot ways, catching nine passes for 90 yards. Waddle has at least eight receptions four of five games. He also is just 14 receptions shy of 100 for the season. He has a good chance to break the rookie record for receptions this year. He is having some kind of rookie season.   

Fantasy Dud: Myles Gaskin. There were a lot of duds in this one but Gaskin was maybe the biggest disappointment with how well he has played in recent weeks. He did next to nothing, though, despite having 15 carries. He ran for just 44 yards, averaging just 2.9 yards per carry. Gaskin also had just two catches for five yards. Gaskin had at least 17 fantasy points two straight and three of four games. This was an unexpected showing, especially for his amount of work.

Game Notes: Tua Tagovailoa had another good game, going 30-of-41 for 244 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover. He has six touchdowns to just one interception his last four games.

DeVante Parker returned from his hamstring injury and looked good. He had five receptions for 62 yards. He has played well when on the field this year, but hasn’t been on the field a whole lot.

Eagles 33, Jets 18

Fantasy Stud: Dallas Goedert. Goedert sure liked having Gardner Minshew as his starting quarterback. He had one of the best games of his career. Goedert caught six passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Goedert is having a little bit of an uneven season but had some big games along the way, showing his big-time fantasy potential.

Fantasy Dud: DeVonta Smith. Smith had just two receptions for 15 yards. This was his second worst showing of the season, having just 3.5 fantasy points. Smith has four receptions for 37 yards his last two games. He had 22-plus fantasy points two straight games in Weeks 9 and 10 but been poor since then.

Game Notes: Gardner Minshew played really well in his first start, going 20-of-25 for 242 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover. The Eagles might not rush Jalen Hurts back too quickly after this impressive showing by Minshew.

Elijah Moore scored a touchdown for the fourth time in five games. He had six receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets.

Colts 31, Texans 0

Fantasy Stud:  Jonathan Taylor. Taylor had another one of his huge performance. He had 32 carries for 143 lads and two touchdowns. He didn’t catch a pass but still managed to score 26.3 fantasy points. Taylor has at least 20 fantasy points nine of 10 games. He is having a huge, breakout season. Taylor is the best fantasy back in the game.

Fantasy Dud: Tyrod Taylor. Taylor had a really rough showing, leading to him finding his way to the bench. He was just 5-of-13 for 45 yards with an interception before his benching. Taylor has not exactly cemented his spot as the starter for the Texans, showing the team they need to find a long-term starter at the position.

Game Notes: Michael Pittman has six receptions for 77 yards. He also ran twice for 33 yards, giving him 110 total yards. He had 17 fantasy points, giving him at least 17 points six games.

Carson Wentz didn’t have to do much with the team getting a big lead fairly early. He played well, though, missing on just six passes in the game. He was 16-of-22 for 158 yards and a touchdown without a turnover.

Rams 37, Jaguars 7

Fantasy Stud:  Sony Michel. Michel handled nearly all the work at running back with Darrell Henderson banged up. Michel responded with a really good showing. He had 24 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three passes for eight yards. Michel showed he could handle the job as the starter for the Rams. He is worth using as long as Henderson is sidelined.

Fantasy Dud: James Robinson. Robinson was active and looked pretty healthy, but didn’t get a lot of work and his numbers were down. He ran eight times for 24 yards and caught a pass for 11 yards. The good news is he wasn't banged up too bad, so his numbers should improve in the coming weeks with more touches. This game was disappointing, though, for all the fantasy owners that used him.

Game Notes: Cooper Kupp had another 100-yard game. He had eight receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown. Kupp is now at 100 receptions with five games still to go.

Matthew Stafford had his second three-touchdown game. He was 26-of-38 for 295 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover. 

Washington 17, Raiders 15

Fantasy Stud: Hunter Renfrow. Renfrow continues to lead the way at receiver for the Raiders. He had nine receptions for 102 yards. This was his second straight 100-yard game. He has at least 17 fantasy points four of five games. Renfrow doesn’t post huge numbers but is a consistent fantasy producer.

Fantasy Dud: Derek Carr. Carr didn’t play badly but his production didn’t help fantasy teams. He was 28-of-38 for 249 yards but didn’t score a touchdown. Carr had just 14.9 fantasy points, giving him fewer than 15 fantasy points two of three games. Carr has enjoyed plenty of big games this year, but also been down in others.

Game Notes: Logan Thomas led Washington in receiving but also left the game early because of a knee injury. He had three receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown. He suffered yet another injury, though, and initial reports are Washington fears he suffered a torn ACL.

Josh Jacobs wasn’t highly productive but got a lot of work. He ran 13 times for 52 yards and a touchdown. He also caught nine passes for 38 yards. He had 90 total yards and nine receptions, giving him good fantasy numbers.

Steelers 20, Ravens 19

Fantasy Stud: Diontae Johnson. Johnson continued his great ways, catching eight passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson has at least 71 yards eight of nine games. He also has least five receptions all but one of those games. His consistency has been as good as any receiver in the league this year. Johnson has moved into the elite category of fantasy receivers.

Fantasy Dud: Lamar Jackson. Jackson had a pretty ho-hum week for his standards. He was 23-of-37 for 253 yards and a touchdown with an interception. He also ran eight times for 55 yards. Jackson has cooled some in recent weeks, having fewer than 21.5 fantasy points three straight games. Jackson hasn’t been near as productive as he was earlier this year. 

Game Notes: Devonta Freeman continues to run well as the starter for the Ravens. He had 14 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown. He also had five receptions for 45 yards, finishing with 20.7 fantasy points. He has 20-plus points two of three.

Najee Harris topped 100 total yards in a tough matchup against a good Ravens defense. He ran 21 times for 70 yards and caught five passes for 36 yards, giving him 106 total yards.

Seahawks 30, 49ers 23

Fantasy Stud:  George Kittle. Kittle looked like his old self, having his best game of the season. He had nine receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns. All his numbers were season highs. It was great to see his big production after having 50 or fewer yards three straight. 

Fantasy Dud: Brandon Aiyuk. A lot of fantasy owners had high hopes for Aiyuk this week, getting a chance to be the No. 1 receiver with Deebo Samuel out. Aiyuk was pretty quiet much of the game, though, finishing with three catches for 55 yards. Aiyuk has shown some signs of life in recent weeks, but is still having a disappointing season overall. He just hasn’t been very consistent. 

Game Notes: Adrian Peterson made his Seahawks debut and led the team in carries, running 11 times for 16 yards and a touchdown. Peterson did next to nothing with his carries besides the score.

Russell Wilson rebounded a little after some down games since his return from a finger injury. He was 30-of-37 for 231 yards and two touchdowns with an interception. 

Chiefs 22, Broncos 9

Fantasy Stud:  Javonte Williams. Williams got his chance to start with Melvin Gordon out hurt and showed his huge potential in a starting role. He was fabulous, rushing 23 times for 102 yards. He also had six receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. He had 178 total yards and a score in the end. Williams owners will want Gordon to miss some more time going forward. He could be a fantasy forced down the stretch.

Fantasy Dud: Tyreek Hill. Hill had a quiet night with the Chiefs passing game having some struggles. He had two receptions for 22 yards and a couple drops in the game. It was another uncharacteristic performance from Hill. He has been a lot more up and down than fantasy teams would like for him to be this season.

Game Notes: Patrick Mahomes did very little outside of a rushing touchdown. He was 15-of-29 for 184 yards and an interception through the air.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire had 14 carries compared to five for Darrel Williams. Edwards-Helaire ran for 54 yards and had three receptions for 28 yards. Williams ran for 20 yards and had three receptions for 60 yards.
