Need teams for $75 RTSports ONE AND DONE total points league

Postby ffootball07 » Fri Jun 26, 2009 5:21 pm

I have started a RTSports platinum league for a "One and Done" total points format. The cost is $75 for the season and it is a total points league.

It is a point-per-reception based league and performance bonuses will be given for touchdowns and yardage.

Weekly and end of the season prizes will be given to the top teams.

You can pick anyone you want to in a given week, but you need to be careful when to use him because you can only use them one time. Matchups and strategy will be widely used here.

The best owner truly will win because he will score the most points.

Good Luck with your new league.. 2009 will be the EGG11PSL's 5th season of one and done. In all the leagues that I'm in it has by far the most strategy. Keep us up to date with feedback from your owners on how your league is going..

DaPostman has learned to play in one style league at a time. I.E. one, one & done league, one redraft league, and one dynasty league. If you have any questions about one and done feel free to hit me up.

The EGG11PSL is only opened to the original owners and guys that they bring in through word of mouth who want to play in a different format than the old boring redraft league.

Yr 1> 14 owners
Yr 2> 18 owners
Yr 3> 19 owners
Yr 4> 23 owners
Yr 5>??????????Hoping for 25-30 @ $125 each..We'll see.

I am using a total points style (no head to head) for my league, we start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, and 2 FLEX (RB/WR/TE/QB) but only one FLEX can be a QB.

Any other advice to better my league?

Our regular season runs weeks 1-14. The top 8 make the Finals which run weeks 15-17. The top 8 start at zero pts in week 15. Whoever scores the most pts in weeks 15-17 is the Champ. If you can make the Finals and have a bunch of studs leftover you will be in a stronger position than using all your studs to make the Finals. That's how we do it.

We also use the Offensive Team option. If your OT wins you get 12 pts. Then there are the bonus pts for margin of victory. This is replacing the Head Coach option we used in the past. We like the bonus pts option with the OT.

But use either the Head Coach or the Offensive Team. It's like playing King of the Hill. Our lineup runs like this:
1-QB
2-RB
3-WR
1-TE
1-PK
1-D/ST
1-Offensive Team
1-Flex(QB,TE,PK,D/ST,OT)

So we'll use 34 RB's and 51 WR's. You gotta find some sleepers in there..
