Remember 9/11

Postby FootballBuddah » Tue Sep 11, 2007 12:37 pm

I'd like to take this opportunity to ask everybody to please pause today to remember the victims of the September 11, 2001 Terror Attacks.

Working in the city of Newark, NJ at the time of the attacks, I actually watched out the window of my office building when the 2nd plane hit the South tower. I then watched in horror as that tower crumbled to the ground. The images of that day will be with me forever, but it pales in comparison to the loss felt by the families of the victims of that day.

In honor and in the memory of the victims of 9/11 - do a good deed today.

Thank you.

Amen. I, too, could see the smoke from The Twin Towers from my front door on 9/11. Our local church parrish lost 13 brave firefighters. The American flags continue to fly in our community. As I type this, I hear them on television reading the individual names of the fallen at Ground Zero. Never forget.

I tell my students to "Never Forget" and we spend the entire class period reflecting and celebrating this great country!

My God Bless the victims families and all of the brave men and women who have been serving us in the War on Terror since that dreadful day.
