Any Tips On Casino Gambling?

After a 6 hr drive to Reno during a snow storm in Dec Dapostman lost $175. Stayed at the Sands way to long. But since that trip he's up about a grand playing in Tahoe & Vegas.
Here's my game that I have figured is best suited for my bankroll: Bet pass line preferably at the casino royale in Vegas where they offer $3 craps and 20x odds. I will play the $5 tables with 3x4x5x also. I do not like the $10 tables so I don't bet the passline but will place the 6 or 8 on these tables. After making my pass line wager and taking odds I also bet either the 6 or 8 for $12. If the point is a 4, 5, or 6 I place the 8. If the point is 8, 9 or 10 I place the 6. I like having a shot at the point or the placed bet on every roll. If I make a small profit at a table($60-$80) I usually cash out and then go next door. I have found if I stay in one place too long I end up giving it back. Many small victories add up nicely and in vegas or tahoe it's easy to go next door and play. NFL: Buccaneers
MLB: Cardinals NBA: Celtics NCAAF: FSU Seminoles
Sounds like Dapostman planned well & done good. Props for coming up with a pretty sound money management plan -- especially the part about walking away when you're ahead.
Good choice on the Casino Royale, too. It's one of those little overlooked gaming/craps-friendly gems that gets lost in the glitter of the Strip. I remember when they had a "beginners" craps table for 50 cents. It's one of the few Strip casinos the locals are willing to wager their hard-earned money at -- usually around 2 or 3 a.m. in the morning as I remember. Caution: Relying On This Opinion May Impair Performance
Casino Roayle is also home to another great game - BlackJack Switch. You play two hands of BlackJack and have the option of switching your 2nd cards.
Downsides are that if the Dealer gets 22, it's a push - - but, otherwise, a pretty interesting game.
Don't play games you can't win or don't understand. Dropping money on roulette is just like burning money.
I've read the suggestions here for gambling techniques. These tips are cool. I'll apply these techniques.
