New playoff rules for NFL

New playoff rules for NFLEven though the broncos beat the steelers in OT should they have elected to kick off instead of getting the ball. Reason : They would have kicked the ball out of the endzone (mile high) Pitts would get the ball at the 20. If they stalled at say the bronco 30 would they opted for a fg. I say yes. Now the broncos get the ball at their 20. Let's say it's 4 and 5 at their own 25 they have to go for it right? (All the way down the field until they are in field goal range or if they score a td.) I believe it benefits the 2nd team receiving the ball if you have a good kicker/play in Denver etc. The 1st team would have to play more conservative.
You still have to make that 4th and 5 play. Ask the Steelers about that in the Super Bowl with the Packers. I think getting the ball is the right play. So what if each team kicks a FG on their first possession. I now have the ball and if I kick another FG, GAME OVER! I may even score a TD on my very first possession. Once again GAME OVER!

Good point. My reasoning is this: after the 1st team kicks a fg the 2nd team has *4* downs to make 10 yds all the way down the field until they reach a high probability field goal kick (My opinion would be no longer than a 40 yarder in a dome/with a great kicker!!) Team #1 will not use 4 downs. They might punt the ball instead of trying that 1st fg.
If team #1 punts the ball and doesn't score do you really think team #2 is going to use all 4 downs to get down the field to kick the game winner?
You are overcoaching. Take your nyquil and get a good nights sleep. If you keep this up you may get a call from Mike Smith to help him with 4th down plays. NFL: Buccaneers

Hell 2 pts in a playoff game he needs all the help he can get! No the 2nd team would not use 4 downs if team 1 punted I'm not that dumb! My point is the same. Team #2 has advantage after the made fg by team 1.
I don't see any ADVANTAGE if you are in OT and the other team is up by 3 points. I understand your 3 downs vs 4 downs argument but you are also sacrificing 3 points which are more valuable then 4 downs. So once again I would take the ball. I'm sure some would agree with me and some would agree with you.
