Fantasy baseball commish leagues?

Postby Broncosfan76 » Mon Mar 08, 2010 4:31 pm

Any chance rtsports is going to have a fully customizable league like they do in football? I'd like to run a good league and I trust this site since I've used it for football for years. Most sites are rotisserie/head-to-head. That scoring system is terrible. I am looking for a point system head-to-head set-up(similar to sandbox.) that I can set values for stats.

We won't be offering commissioner baseball leagues this year, however, it is something we are looking at for the future.

Well here it is. "The future," one year later(give or take a month). What do you got for me? Commissioner baseball leagues yet?

Need head 2 head baseball leagues with total points like football. Roto leagues on this site are boring and for the most part if you aren't in the top 3 or 4 after the first month you are done. Waiver wire = Blind Bidding

head 2 head weekly scoring:
9 Batters(c,1b,2b,3b,ss,3of,util)
9 Pitchers

Batting Categories
BB - Walks (Batters) 1 point
HP - Hit by Pitch 1 point
KO - Strikeouts (Batter) -1 point
R - Runs 1 point
RBI - Runs Batted In 1 point
SB - Stolen Bases 1 point
SH - Sacrifice Hits 1 point
TB - Total Bases 1 point

Pitching Categories
ERA - Earned Run Average
0.00 - 3.00 ERAs = 6 points
3.01 - 3.50 ERAs = 4 points
3.51 - 4.00 ERAs = 3 points
4.01 - 4.50 ERAs = 2 points
4.51 - 5.00 ERAs = 1 point
HB - Hit Batsmen -.5 points
K - Strikeouts (Pitcher) .75 point
QS - Quality Starts 2 points
S - Saves 4 points
W - Wins 4 points
WHIP - Walks + Hits / Inning
0.00 - 1.10 WHIPs = 6 points
1.11 - 1.25 WHIPs = 4 points
1.26 - 1.40 WHIPs = 3 points
1.41 - 1.55 WHIPs = 2 points
1.56 - 1.70 WHIPs = 1 point

If you are looking to run your own league CBS has a pretty good website for fantasy baseball.

Sorry, we will not be offering a fantasy baseball commissioner product. The economics just do not work for us at this time.
