In order to avoid a taxable event if you win over 600 in profit your winnings get taxed. Everytime you purchase a team it counts against the profit.
for example if you paid 2,000 on enterance fees and you won 3,000 dollars you won 1,000 dollars profit and according to the government that money has to be taxed…. However if you purchase 401 in next years teams you profits for the year is 599 and your winnings are no longer a taxable event.
Example I purchased my teams last season and I didn’t purchase my teams in the current season so my entrance fees are essentially 0 now if I win the same 3,000 dollars I have a taxable event of 3,000 so I would need to purchase 2,601 from 2027 to get under 600 profit for the year.
I don’t care what and who people trade each other as long as it’s not collusion between two teams. If someone gets ripped off I just laugh at the donkey 🫏…
I had only two instances that I complained one was back in 2022 were the same two teams were trading 8 for 2 while one of the teams kept changing his name after the trade and making the trade with another name… when I told Logan he emailed me that I needed to move on when I told him that it was BS that I just wanted him to look into it. They made one last trade and then the guy trading his best players put his team for sale and when I called him out on the chat he purchased his team. If that’s wasn’t collusion then WTF is.
the second instance was this off-season in the keystone league the same one I am in it with kluber and Yahtzee a team made a trade while his team was up for sale. And sold his day two days after the trade. It got me mad because I wanted to wait to purchase my teams this year for tax purposes. Sometimes I believe that people in RTS are in cahoots with certain players because it seems certain players are able to exploit loopholes because I could even look at trade offers unless I paid my 2026 season fee.
Traded Away
Wood, James (OF)
Anthony, Roman (OF)
Chandler, Bubba (P)
Burns, Chase (P)
Nujabes
Alonso, Pete (1B)
De La Cruz, Elly (SS)
Barger, Addison (3B, OF)
Tong, Jonah (P)
Rnd 1, Pick 7
Rnd 2, Pick 7
Rnd 3, Pick 7
I might be done…Saw clear shady deal just before the trade deadline last year where the trade was absolutely ridiculously tilted from the last place team to first place team…no doubt collusion…emailed RTS and they said the trade was fair it went through…big reason why I cut down and kept only the teams I re-newed already. Forget this site
Klub your not leaving RT… Unless RT does something completely retarted like droping keepers to 16… if they do that I’m right there with you brother
That’s the beauty of dynasty everyone likes different prospects… and we all get them wrong at one point or another… we will see klub
Florentino is the one everyone should actually want. He will be the best prospect In baseball by years end and a star as early as next year
Absolutely now that I have Muni and Condon behind
If you bail, deal me Kurtz
RT is so trash. It’s one thing to do weekly waivers, fine. But to have guys hit IR mid week and sometimes early and then not letting you sub a guy in is trash. Along with the slow waiver wire set up. Every year I get closer to leaving the baseball side of RT but investing years in building these teams makes it tough
Looking for a OF. I have a very deep bench that would help teams

He's another one that should be hitting the IL soon. And Yahtzee is the football guy. I'm the baseball guy.
I have McLean a bunch. He should be going on the IL soon. Just like all my shares of Hunter Brown, Hunter Greene and Pablo Lopez.
I was mostly Jose Soriano trolling, but appreciate the earnest answers. McLean, Burns, Miz, and Cam'ron seem like they are already aces or have the potential, which is kind of wild. Sheehan must be hurt or can't handle the workload. Bubba's still developing...
Hit or Get Off the Pot wrote:After a few starts, where is everybody at on the helium SPs from this offseason—Nolan Mclean, Chase Burns, Jacob Misiorowski, Cam Schlittler, Emmet Sheehan, Bubba Chandler, Trey Yesavage... Jose Soriano. Anyone have long-term ranks for these guys?
Chase burns, McLean, Scitter are fantasy studs
mis is pitching like a ace bad control will catch up to him
soriano is sell high
unsure about yesavage and bubba
Sheehan concerns me he sat 96 on his fastball last year this year he is touching 96 and a lot of velocity. Volitioity
I think McLean and Schlittler are the top two as of now. Sheehan is probably the worst of the bunch.

I like what I saw from diddier Fuentes the process was good… just a bad first inning…
we will see klub snelling is worth taking a flier on
Real ones are waiting on Snelling and Condon
Happy Didier Fuentes day to all those who celebrate it!

I pounce on proven arms that get TJ…
the only thing Boyle ever proven is that he can’t throw strikes
Boyle gets TJ when he comes back from it he a guaranteed bullpen arm
TJ is when you pounce on 'em as a FA

Looking to move one of these guys for a solid OF or SP
Don’t worry klub you can add fat boy to your roster for in a few weeks when I drop him
There’s a chance brook permanently glitched the system when they seen him not only pick up but put an actual bid on Alek Manoah. System hasn’t seen a move that bad in some time thought it could have been hackers
You can only trade through the app right now it is not letting you though the website
i struggled yesterday with waiver claim because of it didn’t let me do it through the app I had to go through the website something that should of taken me 20 to 25 minutes took me over 2 hours
It's been the site on my phone, not the app
Is anyone else having issues accessing certain options like trade tab? It keeps telling me that I need to renew.
As I feared Oneil Cruz might sit against lefties
I thought that goes without saying!
Hey launch your supposed to say it’s all about the players launch angle!
I got to get you guys to start talking about something 🤣… I been inching to talk about him but couldn’t because I am in too many leagues and I didn’t want other to snipe him from me… I remember hyping up Bryce miller in this league and Dan hogan got him from me in another league… hogan got me
True they can both bust but I’m certain made won’t bust if I had a new dynasty team I probly want to start it with made over Pena because his obp will give him a higher floor in points leagues and Pena has a chance of being a bust
the right answer is probably a little bit of this, a little bit of that and then close your eyes as you roll the dice.....wish i had a $1 for every potential all star I held too long that never panned out and another $1 for all the ones that didn't look good at all for 2 or 3 years and I got rid of them just before they turned into the studs they were supposed to....
I never really look into those stats Charlie shit maybe I need to start looking into them
made has the edge on those stats but guy doesn’t chase like Pena made is going to be a on base machine..iif you calculate how many total bases per at bat I’m sure Pena would be higher because made had 79 more at bats to generate more total bases if that makes any sense? Pena obp in low A before concusion was .375
made: .379 obp, 187TB (453 at bats)
pena/ .335 obp, 159TB (374 at bats)
I guess I'm too much of an oldtimer or not smart enough for all the latest analytics. I do quite a bit of judging off of the simple on base % and total base metrics. Those relate closer to points for me. When I see guys like Ben & Rice Royce Lewis in the top 10 of some stat it makes me wonder how useful the stat really is. Again, most likely just means I'm an old timer or not smart enough to fully understand how those other stats relate.
on base % total bases
Juan Soto - .396 Ohtani - 380
Ohtani - .392 Judge - 372
Perdomo - .389 Raleigh - 351
Guerrero - .381 Schwarber - 340
Tucker - .377 Alonso - 327
Marte - .376 Caminero - 322
Devers - .372 Witt - 312
Tatis - .368 Suarez - 309

Listen to baseball America on Pena, I have a strong feeling made is going to be a star. But I think Pena going to be special I see a lot of ronold acuna jr in his swing
sticky upside is based on certain factors example
hit tool- in zone contact, chase rate. Barrels, launch angle and other factors
Power tool - is based on how hard you can hit the ball the harder you hit the ball the more potential for homeruns. granted hit tool plays a factor on if you can tap into that power, prospect projections also take into consideration players frame example Konnor Griffin is 6’ 4” so he has more room to increase his exit velocities by adding muscle
speed tool - is how fast you are the faster you are the potential for stealing more bases granted you have to get on base for tapping into that speed.
You can compare made and Pena when both healthy in Low-A keep in mind that’s a over 300 at bat sample size while the high a sample size is just a little over 100 at bats..
made
Low A 20.6 k% and 14 bb%
high A 17.9 k%
pena
Low A 13.3 k% and 9 bb%
High A 24.8 k%
im just saying when you compared Pena to Made before the concussion Pena got he wasn’t the same when he came back… I saw video of Pena guy has elite bat to ball skills but like guys with elite bat to ball skills tend to expand the zone
Look at 2025 mlb players who had a 113 max EV
- **Kyle Stowers**: 113.7 mphl
- **Ben Rice**: 113.5 mph
- **Austin Riley**: 113.9 mph.
- **Brent Rooker**: 113.3 mph.
- **Wyatt Langford**: 113.1 mph.
- **Royce Lewis**: 113.7 mph.
- **Matt Chapman**: 113.5 mph.
- **Christian Walker**: ~113.2 mph
- **Christian Yelich**: ~113.4 mph.
-**Bryce Harper 113.8 mph
my biggest concern for Pena that I don’t have for made is the ability to hitting the breaking ball because he hasn’t proven it. it’s a small sample of 100 at bats but Pena saw over 60% breaking pitching in high A and struggled I don’t know if he wasn’t right from the concussion or he just struggled or both. But we will see he either rises to the challenge and becomes Brooklyns next superstar or waddles like a duck and is thrown back to the sharks but the upside is there
Pena is a solid prospect and will probably be a good big leaguer (as long as his approach improves). That's not the point. Made has a much higher ceiling and is already more refined than Pena. And I don't think the Brewers promoted Made to AA, after he dog-walked A+ pitchers, because of defensive abilities.
Sticky Balls 69 wrote: lol. The brewers clearly think higher of made based on their actions. But I’m sure Brook’s single event max ev is more important than the brewers evaluation!
Yes made is a superior defender and a actual infielder… Pena is not a infielder and has no chance of playing shortstop in mlb… so even if the bats of made and Pena are = made has far more valued to the brewers based on position potential at the mlb level..
sticky 113 for a 18 year old is impressive especially for a guy with a 16% k rate and 8% walk rate… there players his age who can’t get that with metal bats
No knock on Konnor griffin he the bar of elite talent for power
EV90- 107.5
Hard hit - 50%
max EV - 14.5
Stop taking my players in draft sticky 🤣
Before the conclusion his EV90 was on par with Connor griffin Pena has legit exit velocity
Pena
EV90 106
46% hard hit rate
Elian was the big international signing in the off season. Still years away probably
Brooklyn Dodgers wrote:First half before Pena got hurt he was hitting better than made… Pena has 70 grade speed and a max EV of 113 to made 111… granted Pena 7 months younger and both made and Pena

When they sign Made to a long term deal, then he’ll be up soon thereafter. I’d predict 2027. If needed, Pratt and Jett get here first
Elian Pena is going to be a better Pena ;-)
Luis Pena going to be the best player in the brewers book it
When is Made coming Launch?
Suck could be a star for this league, lots of nice cards going cheap now tho.
Spends all offseason overpaying for chourio. Fractures hand week 1. Awesome

First off I want to thank myself for making this team what it is! And finally I want to thank you all for the confidence that my team won't show up against you. I coming for the lucky SOB and hopefully more this year! Haha! Good luck all! Happy Opening Day!
We are back boys. Awful winter. Needed baseball to get here. I wish we had a group thread and would all chip in on a trophy to ship year to year. I’d pry own it the next 3-5 starting this year 😉
If anyone is a snowflake in the room… I got you a participation ribbon just know if you believe in participation ribbons the golden douchebag trophy will soon be your🤣
with that said good luck to everyone in 2026 happy opening day
now the award you all been waiting for the golden douchebag. This award is given to the biggest douche of the league. Sasquatch has been unanimously voted the golden douchebag for 2025. Oh he not here what a douche
Lucky S.O.B award goes to DJ McKay & Bear opponents scored 5,772 but you capitalized on that with your 15-6 record. Let’s see if DJ can get some more luck coming his way… we would have you come to the stage to receive your award but last year bear was throwing shit at the audience and got it all over launch and cougars we don’t want a repeat from the last time

Let’s start off with the 2025 championship belt the guy who won it doesn’t deserve for his logo to be posted on the belt or should he get the recognition for tapping out.. but congratulations to Svelte Sasquatch.
Opening Day has arrived and it couldn’t come soon enough. Opening Day it’s as American as apple pie and DJ taping out and putting his teams for sale through out the league. Some of his teams sold were awful horribly bad so bad that I couldn’t resist purchasing them as full price. DJ don’t let your heart be troubled your orphan teams are in good hands my friend. Let’s just be thankful DJ didn’t tap out in the Fantasy Royalty League it would have been a huge loss of a core guy. In a way I’m glad that the number two Joe Boyle fan boy tapped out on so many leagues now I have 100% shares of Joe Boyle. Here’s to you DJ 🍺

good now I can see what I have with Fuentes or jr. Richie
strider got some of the shape back on his FB.. however his velocity on his FB is a concern especially for a two pitch pitcher like strider…
can’t wait to see what FB velo looks I like for the start of the season
A guy I’m pretty excited about this season is diddier Fuentes… his stuff not his results looks like 2022 Spencer strider he has the Spencer strider starters kit. I like how he located FB up slider down and away
good fastball with ride 2” less IVB than strider FB but still gets good wiff and carry
learned a new hard gyro slider that plays well off the FB
Or maybe his velocity ticks down and he was just amped up for spring training and when he faces better competition he gets lit up…
Rotate for more data.
