I don’t understand why there were no waivers but since there wasn’t there can’t just be a free for all that awards players to be able to get to a computer quicker

So, our league does say "Deadline: Mon Mar 30 4:10pm ET" for adds and drops. I tried to add a player myself and couldn't. I decided to call myself to find out what's going on. Logan - who I've spoken to with plenty over the years told me "free for alls (aka FA pickups) won't be allowed until after your first waivers run". I bitched and said this is stated nowhere in your rules and is affecting everyone in the league. And as a software engineer, this is easy to fix. Logan, and RTS for that matter, doesn't seem to give two shits. So if you all want this fixed or changed, you must call. RTS: 636.447.1170

I'm not so sure it's a technical problem. No stats are counting yet. We drafted AFTER the season started. In any fantasy league for any sport, waivers always run "after" the regular 1st week of the season. We have not played our first week yet. That'll be next weekend (when waivers run).
You'll have FA active at 10 am on Monday, just as on all Mondays.
And as "creator" of this league, my only "skin" in the league game is the same $125 you paid to join. Unless Paul Skenes twin is a FA I'm unaware of or Aron Judges clone, I could not care less about waivers running tonight. Last year we managed to make it a full season with zero messages on the message board. No drama. It was quite nice and fun. We haven't even had counting stats, and Democrats are whining already.

As creator/commissioner, itd be awesome if you could reach out to them on behalf of us all itd be tremendously appreciated. Im sure its some kind of technical glitch, unless its strictly due to us drafting later. But, that theory would only apply if I didnt in fact know better from past experience (ie ive played in RTS leagues where we draft after opening day but before the start of the 2nd week of the season and there is always a waiver cycle before any open FA period). I just hope everybody is aware of the situation, because, unless you have no obligations @ 10am tomorrow and can afford to be glued to the site, some owners will inevitably get frozen out of picking up quality assets due to the first-come,.first-serve nature of the FA window. Too late to do anything at this point though

yep, i know. Wasn't asking blindly or due to amateur-ism lol. Is what it is tho...emailing RTS is pointless and their CS is notoriously abysmal. Just was pointing it out so we were all on the same page 👍

Sorry for the broken response, the chat feature sucks on RTS' app so I prefer to use the actual site. Anyway, all i was saying is that If you go to the "Waiver Wire" screen and look at the submission deadline (in RED, to the LEFT), it indicates what day/time the next (or, in our case, FIRST) waiver cycle runs. As it stands, it currently reads: "Submission Deadline: Sunday 4/5 @ 11:59pm ET" - meaning the first cycle of WAIVER/FAAB bids will clear/process then. Not tonight. It appears there WILL be an open FA window beginning @ 10am on monday, as usual, though. Was simply attempting to ascertain a little clarity on the matter. Regardless, ill have a litany of claims teed up and will be refreshing relentlessly come 9:59am tomorrow!! Good luck gng !!

👍 sweet, thanks man! looking forward to taking your $$ in September! Asked a simple question, one that ANYONE could answer, didnt have to be RTS lol. I play in a dozen-plus leagues across 4 different platforms (yahoo, sleeper, fantrax, rts) and they ALL operate differently w regard to claims (as far as what days waivers run; how many ×/week; etc). If you did as you suggested and read the 'league rules" page (which are the same generic thing RTS posts for every league and IS subject to modification), you would understand the discrepancy. You obviously weren't (and, seemingly, still aren't!) clear on it yourself if you're operating under the assumption that there IS a faab period for this week. If you've been playing in this league as long as u say, than it should've been simple & painless, as opposed to whatever the hell all that nonsensical bs you spouted-off was. Yet, here we are. All good tho, and I appreciate the swift response/bulletin board material, if nothing else! Good luck & go O's !

Been playing RTS for yrs and am quite familiar w the rules for season-long on this platform, and, typically, the 1st waiver period runs after midnight (w a bid deadline of 11:59pm est) the first sunday after the draft. That does not appear to be the case for this particular league, so perhaps you should take heed 2 your own advice and familiarize yourself w the rules/procedures. One look at the Waiver Wire screen and you will see it says "Submission Deadline: Sunday, April 5 @ 11:59pm est", meaning there WILL NOT be a waiver cycle for this week. Not sure where you got "will run after midnight tonight for monday" from. By the looks of it, there WILL in fact be an open FA period this monday though (as there is every monday in RTS season-long, beginning @ 10am & ending @ 1st pitch). Just wanted to clarify that wrinkle and make sure we were all on the same page. Never implied nor was thinking there was an "admin" for this league either (I guess u meant commissioner?). For the record - no team is an "Admin" in this league. RTS is the authoritative Admin and questions like early on waivers should be addressed to them. Probably helps if you read the actual league rules.

Okay - that's my final help and advice for the season/year. 

I thought we had a waiver period that would run prior to week 1 (ie due this Sunday night, processed in time for Monday's slate) in order to fill out our last 2 reserve spots? When I go to make a claim, it says the first waiver cycle isnt until 4/5, yet it looks like there WILL be an FA period (as there is every monday starting @ 10am) this week. Is this correct or am I trippin over here?
