Victor Wembanyama Tue Jan 6 4:50pm

San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (knee) is a game-time decision Tuesday night when his team visits the Memphis Grizzlies. The French phenom participated in shootaround Tuesday morning and said he feels good. However, the Spurs are on the front end of a back-to-back and notoriously safe with managing injuries. Should he sit, Luke Kornet will pick up another start, with Kelly Olynyk operating as the second-string big. If Wembanyama gives it a go, Kornet is likely to move back to the bench, and Olynyk will be out of the rotation.

Cedric Coward Tue Jan 6 4:40pm

The Memphis Grizzlies may face the San Antonio Spurs without their starting backcourt on Tuesday night. Point guard Ja Morant (calf) is doubtful with a calf contusion, while Cedric Coward (ankle) has already been ruled out. If Morant is unable to go, it will be his second consecutive game on the sidelines. This will be the second game Coward has missed this season. Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is probable to make his return after missing the last eight games. He, Pat Spencer, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will be responsible for most of the backcourt minutes tonight, should Morant sit.

Tyler Herro Tue Jan 6 8:50am

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (toe) is considered questionable for Tuesday's tilt against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has missed nearly a month of action with a toe injury. For Sunday's clash against the New Orleans Pelicans, Herro was listed as available, but he didn't take the court. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra labeled the star guard as day-to-day on Sunday. Once Herro returns, Kel'el Ware will probably move to the bench, and Andrew Wiggins and Norman Powell could see fewer offensive opportunities. At the same time, Nikola Jovic and Pelle Larsson may have their roles reduced in the rotation.

Ja Morant Tue Jan 6 8:40am

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant (calf) is carrying a questionable tag on the injury report ahead of the first leg of a back-to-back on Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs. Morant missed Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers due to a right calf contusion. Unfortunately, it has been yet another campaign full of health issues for Morant, who has appeared in only 18 of Memphis' 35 games. Another absence on Tuesday will likely keep Cam Spencer in the first unit. Spencer had a horrible shooting night against the Lakers, finishing with only five points. Still, he is averaging nearly a double-double as a starter this season, posting 10.6 points and 9.0 assists.

Jalen Suggs Tue Jan 6 8:30am

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (knee) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's meeting with the Washington Wizards. Last week, Suggs suffered a MCL contusion in his right knee, landing back on the shelf just two games after returning from a hip injury. The doubtful tag indicates that Suggs is expected to miss a second consecutive game. With Suggs out, Tristan da Silva returned to the starting lineup in Sunday's win over the Indiana Pacers, but his fantasy production has been lacking all season. Anthony Black, who finished with 27 points, 10 assists, and four blocks against Indiana, is the player to target during Suggs' absence.

Donovan Mitchell Tue Jan 6 8:20am

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (rest) will take the night off on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers. After seeing him string together a run of three consecutive 30-point games, the Cavaliers have decided to rest Mitchell against the Eastern Conference bottom feeders. Mitchell's absence will put the ball more in Darius Garland's hands, while Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson, and De'Andre Hunter may all be more involved in the action as well. Vegas has set the total at 236.5 points for this game, and a high-scoring contest could result in many outstanding fantasy performances.

Jarrett Allen Tue Jan 6 8:20am

Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (illness) could be out for a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers, as the team has listed him as questionable on the injury report. The big man is working his way through an illness and may return in a good spot, facing a team that allows the 11th-most fantasy points to centers. Sam Merrill filled in for Allen in the starting unit in Sunday's loss to the Detroit Pistons, scoring 15 points on 5-for-7 three-point shooting. On Tuesday, Merrill could make an even bigger impact, with Cleveland potentially missing two regular starters. The team has already ruled out Donovan Mitchell (rest) for the matchup.

Victor Wembanyama Tue Jan 6 8:10am

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's contest against the Memphis Grizzlies. The French phenom has missed a pair of games with a bone bruise in his left knee, but he has a chance to return to the lineup on Tuesday. However, as this marks the beginning of a back-to-back for San Antonio, Wembanyama could still sit out some more action this week. Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk have had larger workloads with Wembanyama out of the lineup. Olynyk could fall out of the rotation once Wembanyama is back at 100 percent.

Alperen Sengun Mon Jan 5 8:00pm

Houston Rockets center Aperen Sengun (ankle) will be re-evaluated in one week after tweaking his ankle in Saturday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Unfortunately, head coach Ime Udoka estimated the 2021 No. 16 overall selection could be sidelined for 10-14 days. He's having another fantastic year, averaging a career-high 21.8 points, adding 9.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks. While Sengun is on the shelf, Steven Adams, averaging 6.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in seven starts throughout the 2025 campaign, should fill the void in the rotation, with Clint Capela coming in for relief.

Moussa Diabate Mon Jan 5 7:50pm

Charlotte Hornets center Moussa Diabate (wrist) will play on Monday versus the Thunder after missing the last two games. With Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) out of commission, Diabate has been filling in admirably. In six starts this season, he's averaged 8.8 points and 11.8 rebounds, which is good enough to land him a spot in most fantasy lineups, even with a tough matchup on tap. Diabate's return will mean PJ Hall will head back to the bench.

Kon Knueppel Mon Jan 5 7:40pm

Charlotte Hornets guard Kon Knueppel (hip) is available on Monday against Oklahoma City. The former Duke Blue Devil has averaged 19.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 42.8% shooting from behind the arc, putting him in the Rookie of the Year conversation. He popped up on the injury report heading into this one. However, Knueppel will be out there. With that said, the 20-year-old could see below-average production against the top defensive squad in the National Basketball Association, although he remains a must-start in all fantasy formats.

Brandon Miller Mon Jan 5 7:40pm

Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller (knee) will play on Monday versus OKC. The 23-year-old popped up on the injury report because of a knee contusion, although he'll avoid his first absence in over a month. He's averaged 19.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks throughout the 2025 campaign, so he should be featured in all fantasy lineups. However, Miller may not be as productive as usual against the league's top defensive club.

Coby White Mon Jan 5 7:20pm

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (calf) will play on Monday night against Boston after missing the last three games. Despite being limited to only 16 contests throughout the 2025 campaign, he's averaged 19.2 points, the second-highest mark of his career. While the Celtics have allowed 110.7 points per game this season, White has an excellent opportunity to be more productive than usual with Josh Giddey (hamstring) sidelined. With White back on the floor, Tre Jones will presumably return to the bench.

Kon Knueppel Mon Jan 5 6:10pm

Charlotte Hornets guard Kon Knueppel (hip) has been upgraded to probable for Monday's matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder. It looks more like the 20-year-old rookie will suit up after he was listed as questionable earlier. Knueppel is having an excellent rookie campaign, posting averages of 19.4 points, 3.5 assists, and 5.1 rebounds across 19.4 minutes per contest across 34 appearances. Fantasy managers should check on Knueppel's status closer to tip-off, 8:00 p.m. ET.

James Harden Mon Jan 5 5:50pm

According to Law Murray of The Athletic, Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden is listed as questionable for Monday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors. As a late addition to the Clippers' injury report, the 36-year-old will likely sit out during tonight's tilt. If Harden is unable to suit up, Kris Dunn will likely take primary ball-handling duties this evening. Dunn, in his last outing, finished with 10 points, six assists, and four rebounds across 30 minutes on Saturday against the Celtics.

Joel Embiid Mon Jan 5 5:40pm

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is listed as probable for Monday's matchup with the Denver Nuggets. Embiid is likely to suit up for his fourth consecutive contest this evening. The star big man is starting to return to form after struggling to begin the 2025 season, finishing with 26 points, 10 rebounds and five assists across 33 minutes during Saturday's 130-119 win over the Knicks in his last outing. Fantasy managers should have a better idea if Embiid is good to go closer to tip-off.

Jakob Poeltl Mon Jan 5 5:20pm

According to Josh Lewenberg of TSN, Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl (back) is completing a program "intensive rehab and strengthening," and will be re-evaluated in a week. Poeltl has missed six consecutive contests due to a back issue. The injury has limited the 30-year-old big man to 21 games this campaign. When Poelt has been active, he's averaged 9.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists across 25.3 minutes per contest. Sandro Mamukelashvili has been productive fantasy-wise and should remain an asset for fantasy managers while Poeltl is sidelined.

Jamal Murray Mon Jan 5 4:50pm

Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (ankle) won't suit up against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. Murray has been dealing with a left ankle sprain and will miss his second game of the season. He was able to play through the ankle injury during Sunday's 127-115 loss to the Nets, posting 27 points, 16 assists, and six rebounds across 40 minutes. Sunday's contest is the second half of a back-to-back set, so the Nuggets don't want to take any chances on possibly making the injury worse. The 28-year-old could return on Wednesday versus the Celtics.

Santi Aldama Sun Jan 4 9:20pm

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Santi Aldama (ankle) will suit up for Sunday's game against the Lakers. The 24-year-old is having the best season of his career. He most recently had 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists when these clubs met on Friday night. With that said, Aldama could be in line for an uptick in statistical contributions in Sunday's rematch, considering Ja Morant (calf) is ruled out.

Ja Morant Sun Jan 4 9:10pm

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (calf) won't play on Sunday against the Lakers. He was listed as questionable throughout the day. However, the 26-year-old began trending in the wrong direction a few hours heading into this one. Fortunately, Santi Aldama (ankle) is available, so he should pick up a lot of the slack on the offensive end alongside Jaren Jackson Jr., Cedric Coward, and Cam Spencer in a projected high-scoring contest.
