Cole Anthony Tue Oct 28 7:00pm

Milwaukee Bucks guard Cole Anthony (illness) will play against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. Initially, the team gave him a questionable tag on the injury report, but Anthony has now been upgraded to available and is ready to rejoin the lineup after missing one game due to illness. Anthony will help to compensate for the absence of Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) in the backcourt. Through his first two outings of the season, Anthony has provided 16.0 points and 6.0 assists per game. However, his early-season shooting percentage of 68.4 isn't sustainable.

Gary Trent Jr. Tue Oct 28 7:00pm

Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Gary Trent Jr. (illness) has been cleared to face the New York Knicks in Tuesday's big Eastern Conference showdown. He was added to the injury report late due to illness. However, the veteran appears to have shaken off the bug ahead of tip-off. Trent Jr. has been Milwaukee's third-highest scorer so far, averaging 14.3 points in 27.3 minutes. Additionally, he has made an impact defensively by snagging 1.3 steals per game.

Alex Caruso Tue Oct 28 7:00pm

Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Alex Caruso (concussion) will rejoin the lineup on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings. He has missed three games while dealing with a concussion. With Jalen Williams (wrist) and Isaiah Joe (knee) still out, Caruso should be heavily involved in the action on Tuesday. Chet Holmgren (back) also won't play against the Kings, which opens up even more minutes in the rotation for players like Caruso, Aaron Wiggins, and Ajay Mitchell.

Miles McBride Tue Oct 28 6:50pm

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (personal) will miss a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks. He was initially listed as questionable for the contest before the team ruled him out. McBride's next opportunity to make a comeback will be on Friday against the Chicago Bulls. In his absence, Jordan Clarkson, Tyler Kolek, and Landry Shamet have a larger workload in the Knicks backcourt. Clarkson has the most fantasy upside of the three, but he's had a tough time in New York so far, posting only 6.0 points per game.

    Karl-Anthony Towns Tue Oct 28 6:40pm

New York Knicks forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns (quadriceps) has been upgraded to available for Tuesday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Towns is battling a right quadriceps strain but is prepared to play through the injury. Despite the issue, Towns has averaged 33.3 minutes per game this season, and there's no indication his workload will be limited against the Bucks. While Towns has notched three straight double-doubles, averaging 20.0 points and 14.0 rebounds, he's had some shooting difficulties, sinking only 40.5 percent of his attempts from the field.

Guerschon Yabusele Tue Oct 28 6:40pm

New York Knicks forward/center Guerschon Yabusele (knee) will miss Tuesday's contest against the Milwaukee Bucks. Ahead of tip-off, he has been downgraded from questionable to out. Yabusele is dealing with a knee sprain, which may keep him sidelined for more than one game. With him out, Josh Hart, Jordan Clarkson, and Landry Shametget more work off the Knicks bench. Yabusele's first chance to return will be on Friday night against the undefeated Chicago Bulls.

Simone Fontecchio Tue Oct 28 6:30pm

Miami Heat forward Simone Fontecchio (calf) will play on Tuesday against the Charlotte Hornets. The Italian sniper has received several upgrades throughout the day and has now officially been listed as available for the game. Fontecchio has started his Heat career well, averaging 13.7 points in 20.3 minutes off the bench. He has nailed exactly half of his 16 three-point attempts so far. On Tuesday, Fontecchio may have a larger offensive role due to Norman Powell's (groin) absence.

Tre Mann Tue Oct 28 6:30pm

Charlotte Hornets guard Tre Mann (jaw) will be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Miami Heat. The team has upgraded Mann's status from questionable to available. Mann fills a bench role in Charlotte and doesn't offer a lot from a fantasy perspective. So far this season, he has averaged 5.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 18.3 minutes. The Hornets backcourt is dominated by LaMelo Ball, with Collin Sextonalso a new face in the mix this season.

Norman Powell Tue Oct 28 6:20pm

Miami Heat guard/forward Norman Powell (groin) won't suit up for Tuesday's clash against the Charlotte Hornets. After picking up a questionable tag earlier in the day, Powell has been ruled out for the contest due to right groin soreness. Powell has been Miami's leading scorer early in the season, averaging 24.0 points. With him on the shelf, Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wigginsmust do more on the offensive end. Pelle Larsson, who has averaged only 5.3 minutes per game so far, will take over Powell's spot in the starting unit.

Chet Holmgren Tue Oct 28 6:10pm

Oklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (back) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Sacramento Kings. He played through a back issue on Monday versus the Dallas Mavericks and will get Tuesday off to rest. As a result of Holmgren's absence, Isaiah Hartenstein should be a busy man in the OKC frontcourt. The likes of Jaylin Williams and Ousmane Dieng could also feature more in the rotation. Williams could be a sneaky fantasy option, as he recorded several triple-doubles last season when the Thunder had limited roster options.

    Karl-Anthony Towns Tue Oct 28 11:50am

New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns (quad) looks on track to play on Tuesday night against the Bucks in Milwaukee, after being upgraded to probable on Tuesday afternoon. KAT was again listed as questionable coming into the day due to a right quadriceps strain. He has not missed a game yet this season with the issue, and he's averaging 20.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in his 33 minutes per game. He had a nice 15-point, 18-rebound double-double on Sunday in his most recent game, which was against the Heat. On Tuesday, it looks like he'll be able to play through the injury again, but he'll be in a tough matchup against the strong frontcourt defense of the Bucks.

Kyle Kuzma Tue Oct 28 11:50am

Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) missed Sunday's game against the Cavaliers and was originally listed as questionable for Tuesday's home matchup against the Knicks. He was upgraded to available on Tuesday afternoon, though, so he should be set to make his return. He came off the bench in the Bucks' season opener against the Wizards, scoring 12 points in 23 minutes, and he left the team's second game with the ankle sprain that has sidelined him since. He'll likely return to a bench role against the Knicks, playing 20+ minutes and offering decent upside in Milwaukee's second unit. Taurean Prince and Bobby Portis got some extra work in the second unit while Kuz was out, but they'll return to their regular roles on Tuesday.

Norman Powell Tue Oct 28 11:40am

Miami Heat guard/forward Norman Powell (groin) was downgraded to questionable for Tuesday night's home game against the Hornets due to right groin soreness, which is a new injury for the veteran wing. Powell has been excellent in the early going for the Heat, scoring 28 points to go with nine rebounds and four assists in the season opener against the Magic. He also led the team with 29 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals in Sunday's 115-107 victory over New York. Powell has a 30.6% usage rate, so if he's out on Tuesday, there would be lots of extra work to go around for Andrew Wiggins, Davion Mitchell, and Jaime Jaquez Jr., who could slide into the starting five in Powell's spot. Check back before tip-off on Tuesday for an update on Powell's availability.

Simone Fontecchio Tue Oct 28 11:40am

Miami Heat forward Simone Fontecchio (calf) has been upgraded to probable for Tuesday night's contest against the Hornets. Fotecchio has played in each of the first three games of the season for Miami, averaging 13.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 20 minutes per game off the bench. He could be asked to carry more work if Norman Powell (groin, questionable) is out, but he should at least be able to handle his normal workload since he's trending towards being available on Tuesday after originally being listed as questionable.

Cameron Johnson Tue Oct 28 11:30am

Denver Nuggets forward Cameron Johnson (shoulder) has had a rough start to his first year in Denver, and that was made even worse by shoulder soreness that forced him to leave Monday's game early. He played only 19 minutes and had five points, two rebounds, and two assists against Minnesota in his team's 127-114 victory. Tim Hardaway Jr. played 32 minutes and had 20 points off the bench, while Peyton Watson also got plenty of run with 25 minutes, his most of the season. The Nuggets' next game is Wednesday night at home against the Pelicans, so keep an eye on Johnson's status. If he is out, Hardaway could be a nice DFS or streaming option in this favorable matchup.

Brandon Miller Tue Oct 28 11:20am

Charlotte Hornets guard Brandon Miller (shoulder) will be re-evaluated after the team's current road trip in the middle of this week, but Chris Haynes reports that the third-year guard from Alabama is looking for a second opinion as he tries to get clarity on the timeline for his recovery. Haynes was careful not to speculate but said, "Anytime you're getting a second or third opinion, that doesn't always fare well for your status moving forward." Miller is currently hopeful to avoid surgery on his shoulder subluxation, and typically a non-surgical recovery takes 3-to-6 weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on Miller as his timeline gets finalized, but it looks like he'll be out a while, leaving more time for exciting rookie Kon Knueppel.

Miles McBride Tue Oct 28 9:10am

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (personal) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's encounter with the Milwaukee Bucks. He may miss a second straight game due to personal reasons. Before he exited the lineup, McBride had a couple of strong showings, averaging 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. He was a starter in his last appearance against the Boston Celtics. In Sunday's matchup against the Miami Heat, Knicks head coach Mike Brown replaced McBride in the starting unit with Ariel Hukporti to match the Heat's big frontcourt. However, Hukporti was ineffective during his 10 minutes on the court. On Tuesday, Brown may need to use Hukporti more, as both Karl-Anthony Towns (quadriceps) and Guerschon Yabusele (knee) are iffy for the game.

Guerschon Yabusele Tue Oct 28 9:00am

New York Knicks forward/center Guerschon Yabusele (knee) is carrying a questionable tag on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Frenchman hurt his left knee on Sunday against the Miami Heat and may now have to skip his first game of the season. Through his first few outings as a Knick, Yabusele hasn't been much of a force in fantasy basketball, averaging 1.7 points and 4.0 rebounds off the bench. So far, he has made only two of his 10 shot attempts. Josh Hart could get extra burn off the pine if Yabusele misses time. Conversely, if Yabusele is cleared to play, he may benefit from the potential absence of Karl-Anthony Towns (quadriceps), who is also listed as questionable for Tuesday's contest.

Kevin Porter Jr. Tue Oct 28 8:50am

Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr.(ankle) is not ready to return to the lineup for Tuesday's tilt against the New York Knicks. After spraining his left ankle in Milwaukee's season opener, Porter Jr. has to sit out a third consecutive contest. During his absence, Ryan Rollins has assumed the starting point guard duties, averaging 13.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.0 steals over the past two games. He looks like a great DFS option again on Tuesday, especially if Cole Anthony (illness) also remains out.

Kyle Kuzma Tue Oct 28 8:40am

Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) may skip a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the New York Knicks after the team listed him as questionable on the injury report. On Friday against the Toronto Raptors, Kuzma sprained his left ankle and subsequently missed Sunday's clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Across the first two games of the season, Kuzma recorded 10.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks in 20.5 minutes per game. With him absent, Bobby Portis, Taurean Prince, and Amir Coffey had more work on Sunday. Portis is the best fantasy option of the trio and notched 10 points with eight rebounds off the bench against Cleveland.
