    D.J. Moore Oct 29 8:10pm CT
    D.J. Moore

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (hip, groin) was absent during Wednesday's practice session. Unsurprisingly, Moore sat out practice to begin the week while he deals with a few nagging injuries. This seems more like a rest day than anything else for the veteran wideout. The Bears are banged up right now with Rome Odunze (heel), Luther Burden III (concussion), and Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) all missing Wednesday's practice as well. These seem like minor issues for Moore, so he figures to be ready for the Week 9 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. He could have an expanded role if some of his fellow wideouts are unable to play.

Jakobi Meyers Oct 29 8:10pm CT
    Jakobi Meyers

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Meyers sat out of the Week 7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs due to a knee issue. He appears to be ready to go in Week 9 after resting up during the bye week. Meyers has been a hot name on the trade market recently, but the Raiders have stated they want a strong return for the 28-year-old wideout. Meyers hasn't exactly impressed recently with four receptions or less in each of his last four games. Fantasy managers should consider Meyers a possible WR3 for the upcoming Week 9 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ricky Pearsall Oct 29 8:00pm CT
    Ricky Pearsall

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) was unable to practice on Wednesday. Pearsall continues struggling to recover from a knee issue that has kept him sidelined since he suffered the injury Week 4. The 49ers haven't given a clear timetable on Pearsall, but they haven't placed him on the injured reserve. That being said, Pearsall figures to return sooner rather than later. Fantasy managers will need to stay tuned for more updates throughout the week. However, the fact Pearsall isn't even limited in practice isn't a good sign heading into the Week 9 matchup against the New York Giants.

Brock Purdy Oct 29 7:40pm CT
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said earlier that Purdy was slated to be limited on Wednesday. It sounds like this was the plan for Purdy as works his way back from a turf toe injury. An issue that sidelined him for every game besides two coming into Week 9. It's worth noting that backup quarterback Mac Jones (knee) was a full participant on Wednesday. Jones figures to draw another start versus the New York Giants this weekend, assuming Purdy is unable to play. Fantasy managers will need to wait and see what Purdy does in practice over the next few days. If active, Purdy should reclaim his starting gig and be a QB1 for this weekend.

Josh Jacobs Oct 29 7:30pm CT
    Josh Jacobs

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. This is the second week in a row that Jacobs has dealt with this lingering calf issue. He was able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jacobs struggled on the ground as he rushed for 33 yards on 13 attempts, but did find the end zone. Barring any setbacks, Jacobs figures to be ready to go for the Week 9 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Despite a sluggish game last weekend, Jacobs needs to be plugged in as a RB1.

Josh Downs Oct 29 7:30pm CT
    Josh Downs

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (hip) didn't take the field for Wednesday's practice session. Downs sat out in Week 7 due to a concussion, but made his return to the field last weekend. He hauled in all three of his targets for 39 yards with a touchdown in the win over the Tennessee Titans. It's worth noting that Downs was on the field for a season-high 64 percent of the offensive snaps last weekend. When healthy, Downs appears to be earning more playing time in Indy. Fantasy managers should monitor his status throughout the week. Downs should be able to offer flex value for the Week 9 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Christian McCaffrey Oct 29 7:13pm CT
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers C Jake Brendel (hamstring), DT Alfred Collins (shoulder), DE Yetur Gross-Matos (hamstring, knee), DE Bryce Huff (hamstring), RB Christian McCaffrey (non-injury), DE Sam Okuayinonu (ankle), WR Ricky Pearsall (knee), OT Trent Williams (non-injury) and LB Dee Winters (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. OG Ben Bartch (ankle), DT Jordan Elliott (ankle), QB Brock Purdy (toe), CB Upton Stout (shoulder) and DE Keion White (non-injury) were limited during practice. OT Spencer Burford (knee), DT Kalia Davis (hand), WR Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib, shoulder), QB Mac Jones (knee) and TE George Kittle (oblique) fully participated in practice.

George Kittle Oct 29 7:03pm CT
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (oblique) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle is coming off a decent game with 43 yards and one touchdown last week. He should see a good amount of targets in the passing game in Week 9 and should be a No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.

Christian McCaffrey Oct 29 6:53pm CT
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Spin: McCaffrey had one of his quieter games last week with 68 total yards but should see more work this week against the New York Giants. He continues to be a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

Marvin Mims Oct 29 6:50pm CT
    Marvin Mims

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol and was unable to practice on Wednesday, according to Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver. Mims suffered a concussion in last Sunday's blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys and is now in danger of missing his first game of the 2025 season in Week 9 versus the Houston Texans. He will first need to get back on the practice field on Thursday or Friday, but even if he does, Mims could be facing an uphill battle to get cleared by an independent neurologist ahead of Sunday's contest. The 23-year-old has so far been overshadowed by second-year wideout Troy Franklin in Denver's offense. If Mims is active, he'll continue to be a boom-or-bust flex option for fantasy managers. Mims has only two games with double-digit, half-PPR points through eight weeks and has scored just once.

Cooper Kupp Oct 29 6:43pm CT
    Cooper Kupp

Seattle Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (heel) was able to participate in a full practice session Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Spin: Kupp appears to be just fine for Week 9 against the Washington Commanders, and he could be in line for a bounce-back game. He has just three grabs for 72 yards and a TD in the past two games with four targets. Washington is 29th in passing yards allowed, and worst in the NFL in pass yards per attempt. It would be just the bump Kupp needs to get back on track. Treat him as more of a WR4 or flex play in PPR leagues, with lesser appeal in standard formats.

Leonard Williams Oct 29 6:33pm CT
    Leonard Williams

Seattle Seahawks S Julian Love (hamstring), TE Eric Saubert (calf) and WR Dareke Young (quadriceps) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. LB Derick Hall (oblique), LB DeMarcus Lawrence (rest), NT Jarran Reed (wrist) and DE Leonard Williams (rest) were limited participants, while QB Sam Darnold (chest), OG Christian Haynes (pectoral), WR Cooper Kupp (heel), FB Robbie Ouzts (ankle) and CB Devon Witherspoon (knee) were full participants.

    From TheHuddle

Sam Darnold Oct 29 6:33pm CT
    Sam Darnold

Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold (chest) was able to take part in a full practice session Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Spin: While a setback is certainly possible, it appears Darnold is in line to be just fine for Week 9 against the Washington Commanders. With Washington ranking 29th in the NFL with 2,087 passing yards allowed, and an NFL-worst 8.4 yards per pass attempt, it's a very favorable matchup for Darnold. He has low-end QB1 fantasy appeal this week, especially if your primary option has a bye or difficult matchup.

Alvin Kamara Oct 29 6:33pm CT
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle), RB Devin Neal (ankle), WR Rashid Shaheed (hip) and CB Alontae Taylor (shoulder) were limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. TE Juwan Johnson (neck) and WR Chris Olave (ankle) fully participated in practice.

    From TheHuddle

Alvin Kamara Oct 29 6:23pm CT
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Spin: Kamara has been on the injury report for a few weeks but has not missed any games and should be available for Week 9. He received only eight touches last week but should be more involved in the offense this week. He can still be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.

    From TheHuddle

Ladd McConkey Oct 29 6:20pm CT
    Ladd McConkey

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (calf) is on the team's Week 9 injury report and was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice with a calf injury. McConkey played a season-low 58% of the offensive snaps in last Thursday night's blowout victory over the Minnesota Vikings, but he still managed a team-high 10 targets and caught six passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. The 23-year-old should have a good chance to play in Week 9 in a plus matchup against the Tennessee Titans on the road, but his status bears watching heading into Sunday's game. The former second-rounder has bounced back after a slow start to his second season in the NFL, catching 27 of his 41 targets for 294 yards and three touchdowns in his last four games. If McConkey is active against the Titans on Sunday, he needs to be in all starting fantasy football lineups.

Tony Jefferson Oct 29 6:13pm CT
    Tony Jefferson

Los Angeles Chargers OG Mekhi Becton (knee), TE Will Dissly (illness), RB Hassan Haskins (hamstring), D Tony Jefferson (hamstring) and CB Tarheeb Still (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. OT Austin Deculus (ankle), S Derwin James Jr. (ankle), DB Deane Leonard (knee), WR Ladd McConkey (calf), OL Jamaree Salyer (knee) and S Kendall Williamson (Achilles) were listed as limited participants.

Bobby Wagner Oct 29 6:13pm CT
    Bobby Wagner

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz (non-injury), PK Matt Gay (back), WR Terry McLaurin (quadriceps), LB Von Miller (non-injury), DT Jer'Zhan Newton (ankle) and OT Laremy Tunsil (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. TE Colson Yankoff (hamstring) was limited during practice, while QB Jayden Daniels (hamstring), DT Javon Kinlaw (shoulder) and LB Bobby Wagner (thumb) fully participated in practice.

    From TheHuddle

Brian Thomas Jr. Oct 29 6:10pm CT
    Brian Thomas Jr.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) is not fully healthy coming out of the team's bye week, as he was limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Thomas injured his shoulder in the Week 7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in London and is still nursing the injury despite having last week's bye to heal up. He was seen wearing a harness on his shoulder at Wednesday's practice. While Thomas figures to be on the right side of questionable for this weekend's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, his status is worth monitoring heading into Sunday's contest. Through seven games, the former first-round pick is in the midst of the dreaded sophomore slump, and rookie first-rounder Travis Hunter could be ready to take over WR1 duties in Jacksonville for the second half of the season. The 23-year-old Thomas has scored just one touchdown in 2025 and has only had double-digit half-PPR points in two of his seven games.

    From RotoBaller

Kareem Hunt Oct 29 6:03pm CT
    Kareem Hunt

Kansas City Chiefs WR Hollywood Brown (illness), RB Isiah Pacheco (knee) and OT Josh Simmons (personal) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. OG Trey Smith (back) was listed as a limited participant, while LB Nick Bolton (knee), RB Kareem Hunt (ankle), DE Charles Omenihu (ankle), RB Brashard Smith (toe) and OT Jawaan Taylor (knee, shoulder) were full participants.
