Hope all is well. Your "fearless" commissioner chiming in. So far so good this year. Looks like the waiver wire issue is good with everybody. Through five weeks, we have competitive races in our divisions. "Pills" division is right there for the taking with all four teams involved. "Boys" division looks like HBK and Web are in control. Don't give up Niners and Goodfellas! All I can say about the "Jocks" division is that Kotti has them right where he wants them! By the way, Rafi getting major ROI on his Bowers pick! You got the right Raider!
Just a reminder about league fees. Jen's Men, HBK, and Niners4Ever have paid. You can either pay me via Venmo (Christopher Malloy@CMalloy16), Zelle, or send a check to, 74 Hester Lane, Campbell, CA, 95008.
Have a great week and good luck this weekend!
Chris
Man am I Moody!
Just a reminder about waiver wires... We do have a waiver wire this week. This week the waiver wire will be reverse draft order. In future weeks the order will be based on league standings from worst to first. The waiver wires will run on Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:59 pm PT. We also have free agent pick-up on Saturday 6:00 am PT until Sunday 10:00 am PT for anyone who still needs to make roster adjustments after the waiver wires. Good luck to all as we get ready to kick off the season!
Hello everybody. Just checking in. I'm sure you are all breaking down every teams third tight end right now. I don't want to take too much of your time! Just by the lack of responses (not a bad thing) it looks like we are all good for the draft on Friday August 23rd at 5:30 PM PST. Also loking at the poll, we will be going back to waiver priority by one's record (Worst to First) instead least to most amount of points scored.
Have a great week!
Chris
Hi everyone,
I have an opening in my league so if anyone is interested in joining let me know. .5PPR, keeper and IDP.
Hoping everybody has had a good weekend. Just wanted to give an update to the message I sent out (July 14) in regards to the draft date. Three of you have replied a this point. I have only had one person say they couldn't make it on one of the dates listed in the last message. The others who have replied seem to be able to work with the other dates listed. With that said, I have tentatively set the draft date for Friday August 23rd, at 5:30 PM PST. The date and draft order is set already set for the draft room. I am hoping everybody will be able to be home from work before 5:30. If there is a time issue, we can always make it a little later, 5:45 or 6 at the latest.
With the waiver wire poll, nine have voted. If you could please sumbit a vote as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated. At the moment, worst record to best record is leading the vote in terms of gaining the waiver priority for the week. Lowest team point total to highest is in second place, and a blind bid with a budget is pulling up the rear.
As of now 32 days 19 hours and 10 minutes until the number one pick Frank!
Hope this helps,
Chris
I think I am the only one left in the East. I am good with any of the proposed dates and times.
Mike
Hello everybody. Just wanted to check in an give an update on the date of the draft. Looks like the 24th and 25th won't work due to some scheduling conflicts. There is always the potential of doing auto draft or someone else doing the picking for specific individuals but I don't that is the best solution. I think we all feel it is best if all 12 of us are doing the selections. If it comes to that, then we will just have to make due.
So let me throw out the other options.
Friday Evening August 23rd. 5:30/6 PM? - We actually have had the draft more than once on a Friday night. Do not recall any issues. The only potential problems would be if everybody would be off of work by then and the Kotiewicz duo back east with the 8:30/9 PM EST start.
Saturday August 31 - Labor Day weekend. Is everybody going to be around? Final weekend before the start of the season.
Saturday August 17. You better start doing your homework now! It isn't uncommon for leagues to have their drafts by or before this date.
I think those are the three best options at this moment. If anybody else has some suggestions please feel free to share. As for me, I am open to any of those dates.
Since we don't get together anymore for a draft party (would actually love to do that one year for majority of us locals), I would still like to promote the 9AM time if we do the Saturday draft. I hope to hear back from you all soon as possible so we can input the date into the system.
Chris
Sorry I'm so late to the conversation. I've got another draft on Sunday the 25th at 12 noon PST. Otherwise I'm good, so 24th is open and 25th starting at 9 pst would work as well, but any later than that might run into my other one (which i could handle 2 at once for a few rounds I'm sure).
I'm OK with either day. (24 or 25)
Hope everbody is having a great weekend. Happy 4th to you all! I just wanted to update where we stand in regards to the date of the draft, draft order, and poll. If you have not voted, please submit your vote in regards to the waiver wire.
The date of the draft has not been set yet. August 24 was the first date suggested. I have only heard back from two of you. That date might not work for one team. Obviously we want everybody physically engaged (instead of autodraft) in the draft. If we can't make the 24th work (does not mean it can't) then I would suggest Sunday the 25th or the next week which is Labor Day Weekend, Saturday August 31 (preferably) or Sunday June 1.
I'm hoping to hear back from you all soon on this issue. I just want to know how flexible everybody is in their schedule. Personally if we can't do the 24th, I would suggest Sunday the 25th so everybody can enjoy the Labor Day weekend with no football obligations. I would still promote the 9am PST/12 EST time.
Finally the draft order has been established. I can't put in in website yet until we have a draft date set, but for you who want to start strategizing, here it is!
I hope everbody has a great week and I hoope to hear from you soon.
Chris
