Woah, a lot of games with Monday Night Football implications this week.

Will KC/Saints be a Mr. Yuck?

Orlando Calrissians Sun Oct 6 7:03am ET
The answer is that I am just as mediocre as everyone else here.

I've won 2 titles in about 25 seasons and easily could have 2 more with a bit of luck. Twice I missed the playoffs in the last week of the season because of kickers. In both instances my regular lineup went off the next two weeks and I would've outscored everyone who did make it. Would've, could've, should've but, in the end, didn't.

I've made good picks and bad picks but more importantly I've made lucky picks and unlucky ones. I hoped that Fields would have more monster games like he did the year before but then he forgot how to run the ball. This hurt more as a Bears fan than as a fantasy football player. At the same time I knew enough not to take any of the dozen or so offers I've had for CeeDee Lamb over the past few seasons.

Most of my picks that have hit this year I couldn't believe fell to me while there are guys I really wanted who got taken before I could that have been absolutely awful. So thank for that guys. Besides, you all should know by now that this stuff is 90% luck.

...says the guy who has a combined 50 points from his kicker the past 2 weeks.

...a kicker he only picked because his wife thought that the name Young Hoe was funny.

And now to lose horribly for weeks on end for pointing out the pure randomness that is fantasy football performances.

wait…are we seriously, SERIOUSLY asking this question about someone who chose Justin Fields as a keeper a mere 13 months ago?

It is! I'm ready to vote that he has made the adjustments and is a better player than in year's past when he relied on the Ravens Defense. Heh.

Can one make the argument that Marty is now actually good at Fantasy Football? Wins the championship last year and now we have a 4-week sample size this year of:

Round 1 - Kamara

Round 2 - Metcalf

Round 3 - Aiyuk (we shall see but has to turn it around, right??)

Round 4 - James Conner

Round 6 - Prescott (we all let him fall to Marty again - foolish?)

Round 7 - Brock Bowers

Round 10 - JK Dobbins

A few other uncertainties with Hopkins, Kmet, C. Williams and even Etienne, but...........

Has he turned it around????

Of course the counter argument is that he just goes off of consensus internet rankings, hence now looks competent... I think there should be a vote
