Looks like I have one more stating they did not email RTSports to complain so that now leaves only 3 possible even though RTSports says 5 owners complained.  My math deduces we have at least 2 liars in our league.  Everyone should proceed with caution.  I'm not calling out anyone in particular just pointing out the facts.

Well Michael, I did not complain to RT Sports and I've only complained once on a trade in a dynasty league, and that was to the entire group. It was the first year of a league where they allowed trades during the playoffs, and there was a progressive pot, so the team that won 2 years in a row got the pot. I felt that was justified and so did others in that league. With that being said, I am open to any and all trades and if I reject your offer, I will let you know why, or I will make a counter offer. Thanks!

RTSports stated 5 owners emailed to complain in the last 3 days.

So I have had 6 owners let me know they did not say anything to RTSports, He Hate Me hasn't been on the site since January and then there is me which leaves only 4 owners left, which means someone is a liar.  Donnybrooks is the only owner with the balls to fess up with his original post on the message board although I still don't agree with his point at least he is man/woman enough to take a stand.  I know he said he wouldn't trade with me but I would be willing to trade with him.

RTSports realized the error of not allowing the trade of first round pick and now allows this so there will no longer be handshake deals.  My handshake deal was just caught in the transition.

VivaLasVegas and I were trying to workaround the trade reversal to honor the handshake deal indirectly.  RTSports will be review all my trades moving forward.

So there is no reason for lopsided deals moving forward and on top of that RTSports will be monitoring me.  I am still open for trades and look forward to completing win-win deals moving forward.

I only have one thing to say to you FX2: F***ing Amari Cooper!!  Cooper is dead to me......

The original sin was Alexander Mattison for a first rounder, which ended up being the 1.02.  If you had a time machine none of us would have made that trade.  However, going into last season, Dalvin Cook leaving the team, it looked like Alexander Mattison was going to stud out and everyone was trying to get him.   So for those that want to shit all over that trade, I will say, hindsight is 20/20.  At the time, it was an OK trade.  Bell Cow back for a FUTURE first round pick.  Because Mattison Flamed out and so did Viva, that trade was heavily weighted in Ritalins favors.  Who knew?  So get off his Jock.  As for handshake deals, we all did them, so if it was your first time seeing one - sorry but they were being done since the beginning of time.   

This whole project that we call Dynasty fantasy football is supposed to be fun.  But believe it or not - People are going to suck and make stupid trades and then they are going to get better at FF.  And even though we try our best to trade evenly, every once and a while someone is going to make a trade that turns out to be a stinker.   For example - I took Trey Lance in another league for a first round pick last year.   Where was the outrage?  Seriously, I wish you guys were around to VETO that trade.  But no, I am stuck with his ass now!   

I would encourage you guys to be more vocal.  Answer your trades with reasoning and communicate.    I don't want to end up butthurt because you refuse a trade, then trade something worse to someone else without at least a little back and forth. (you know who you are).    So communicate.  That also applies to a trade.  If you see something say something.  Kind of like our own #metoo movement.

In reality the 1.02 should have been sent for nothing.

He was directing that at RTSports because they are the ones who said the trade needed to stand on it's own. no hand shake could be considered.

I hope everybody is ready to pass their trades by the commissioner.  After several back and forths the completed trade is one Logan at RTSports not only approved but put together and presented to me as fair.

I just got off the phone with RTSports and found out they do not review/reverse trades unless someone complains.  Are we not all adults here?  Do we really need babysitting? Whoever complained did you not consider the values, the roster construction, the fact VivaLasVegas will be done drafting in round 7 and the desires of VivaLasVegas?  I did!  I understand most of you feel later draft picks are worth next to nothing and I would agree in a true rookie only draft but this is a rookie/free agent draft where we only keep 14 players.  The later picks are worth more than a typical rookie only draft.

The trade with out the handshake deal was very close to fair but when you consider what I gave up last year to get the deal done it was more than fair.  Why did this person not complain at the time of the handshake deal where I gave up a hot commodity for DPJ and a 2nd?  In retrospect that trade looks like a bad trade for VivaLasVegas but at the time of the trade Mattison value was at it's peak and worth much more than a 2nd and DPJ.  

We are adults let's act like adults.

First of all "handshake" deals have been part of RTSports for the entire time I have been involved, mainly because there was no other way to trade 1st round picks before.  Thank God RTSports added the option of paying for future years so we can trade those 1st.  The handshake deals could only be completed upon both owners renewing so in essences it was insuring both owners would renew (or at least increased the odds of both renewing, benefiting RTSports) but did involve the risk that one owner not renewing.  The paying for future years is a major improvement.  The handshake deal was made before the change.

The commisioner states "There cannot be any "handshake" agreements for trading from prior years as all teams renew for the upcoming year based on current rosters and trading needs to be fair." which makes sense with the new ability to pay for future years but that was not an option when the deal was made.  Deals made before the option should be honored and handshake deals should no longer be allowed moving forward otherwise what about the unfair deal that was completed last year when you take out the handshake part.

So for now on will every trade be checked for balanced value?  If so most trades will be reversed.  Did anyone actually run a Keep Trade Cut check on the actual trade completed?  I will admit it was not "equal" in the vacuum the Keep Trade Cut is but it was much closer than many of the trades I have seen completed in RTSports.  When you consider roster construction and trade equity, also VivaLasVegas got rid of a RB he will not be able to trade away because of his age/value and he received a young RB in line for increased workload, A RB who could very well have a bounce back year if healthy, a startable TE and several draft picks moving him up in the draft It becomes balanced for the teams involved.

Hell yeah, there needed to be a way to trade future 1st especially if we are going to continue to pretend these RTSports leagues are real dynasty leagues.  Now there is a way to trade the 1st without having to trust and wait for the other player to renew and complete the deal.  This was a very good change for RTSports.

gotcha.  The whole handshake thing feels a little whatever, maybe it's just me.  Now that we can renew future years early and trade 1sts maybe we won't have to do that anymore

Immediately after The Vikings traded away Dalvin Cook last year I traded VivaLasVegas Alexander Mattison for his first as a handshake deal (at the time of the deal he traded his second which was to be traded back for his first this year which is what we just completed) and DPJ which was a fair trade via KeepTradeCut at the time of the trade.  I did feel with all that happened with Mattison I wanted to give a little more back and maintain a trading relationship with VivaLasVegas. 

You can sheer a sheep many times but skin him only once.
