He's going to get the #4 pick, so his little stunt definitely backfired on him.

Exactly. If real time does nothing about it... We could have a gentleman's agreement to not trade with him. That's about all we can do. Sorry dirty dozen but you did this to yourself

Wow...that's some good digging. I hadn't noticed his previous lineups. Not cool.

Looks like Wk 12 wouldn't have mattered either. He lost by about 53 pts and had he not started A Rodgers (who was OUT) over D Jones, or not benched T Henderson (who was coming off of a 32-pt game in Wk 11) and AJ Brown, he still would've lost....but by only about 3 or 4 pts.

Not defending him, because I agree its a very unsporting way of playing the game, but in this scenario it wouldn't have mattered, and because of that I guarantee RT won't do anything about it. They might give him a slap on the wrist and say don't do that again, but that's probably it. For me though personally, guys like that will go on my DO NOT TRADE WITH list.

In real life, outside of fantasy football, I have no interest in associating with guys like that who have zero integrity.

It doesn't give the first overall pick? It just guaranteed I get a top 4 pick. The site's rules state you can't intentionally set a bad line-up for reasons other than improving your fantasy team. Trying to improve draft position is trying to improve my team.

That's actually NOT what the rules read. The part about improving your fantasy team applies only to free agent transactions and not to deliberately setting a weak lineup.

Exactly. He is saying he did on purpose to improve his team.

Yep, that's strictly in the rules that you are NOT allowed to do that. Plus, he has also been intentionally starting week lineups for the last 3 weeks. He has had AJ Brown, T Henderson and others on the bench in those games as well.

Under the Sportsmanship and Decency rule, RTSports has the right to remove a team from the league, without refund, for intentionally playing weak lineups and he clearly has been doing that, for at least 3 weeks. Putting a player who has been on IR for weeks into the starting lineup is BLATANTLY starting a weak lineup. He can't even argue that one.

Now, will they do anything about it? Highly doubtful, based on my 25+ years experience playing on this site. Plus again, it definitely didn't affect anything in WK 14 or Wk 13 either. His intentional loss in Week 12 I haven't looked at yet.

Still ...it's not that hard to put a lineup in.

Yeah, I get it because in some scenarios his intentional losing could affect other teams. If, hypothetically, he had  played Mendham last week and if Mendham had come into that game with 1 more win, then he would be in the playoffs over Stingers.
