Trade Block Update
Players on the Block:
Would look to gain picks.
League has voted, by league rules a majority is needed to change. Which with 90% vote in, cannot reach 60% majority needed. For now Place Kicker changes are tabled and can be revisited for vote if proposed properly for 2026 season.
Tight early season race in both divisions for playoff spots! with Bye weeks starting, the real fun and challenge begins!
Bob and Tim's game.
Waiting to see if any scoring changes process but adjusting now. Tim wins currently w/ 38 points tie breaker (off and Def) to Bobs 37 (did not have a def tie break started.
If scoring adjustment from NFL occurs that changes outcome, I will correct back.
Koo had 4 FGs, 2 XP = 14 football points and 45 fantasy points
Jordan Love = 4 TDs, 2 Xpts = 28 football points and 47 fantasy points (of which also include 32 completions for 389 yds)
Why is the kicker getting the same fantasy points for half the football points contribution??
I get that kickers are contributors and vital but this scoring system is outdated and is skewed way too much.
If you think Aubrey was a bigger factor than Lamb in the Cowboys win then I don't know what to say.
Lamb's 55 yard TD was the difference in the game and worth 13 points (TD + reception + 55 yards). Aubrey's 60 yard FG was worth 15, and would have been 20 if he was a yard further. That makes no sense to me.
Aubrey scored 8 points for team. 2 kicks for 100 yards and 2 extra points.
Lamb scored 6 points for team. 7 receptions for 98 yards and a Td
CeeDee Lamb: 7 receptions for 98 yards and a TD, 21 fantasy points
Brandon Aubrey: 2/3 field goals, 2/2 XP, 23 fantasy points
Think we all need a few days to cool down our heads. Poll is up (i will remove my smartass option)
If yes wins, I can collect some options and suggestions to vote on.
Long season and I want to see more touchdowns as well.
This league is comical. If all you have to do is bitch about kicker scoring on a group text on a Friday night you really need to get a life. Thanks.
I mean some of those kickers were available and our still that put up 25 plus.
Thanks to no off season actual 2 a days and anyone playing preseason, we are stuck with shit offense and hamstring pulls. Kickers are getting way more opportunity then normal early on. I agree a its a little up there... however, scoring 15 to 21 points for actual teams
(place kicker not counting extra points) real life is worth more then 100 yards and td in a victory.
Let it play out and yes, will look to make adjustments for next year. Sorry just realized this was on mine on not commish.
Kamara has 5 TDs in 2 games and is 4th
Top 3 scorers in the league are kickers...
I agree the kickers need to be adjusted next year
I third putting Liz's proposed vote on Kicker Point change up for a poll.

Lum, I have Liz’s and Bob’s fees and will send to you with mine, $280 (110 + 110 + 60). DONE
I do not have Tony’s $60 so he will need to send you that.
All Paid.. BP I see Sunday.
Draft done.
Pressing button to generate schedule.
To the commissioners, thank you for the transparency with making the adjustment. Since it was after the deadline I am happy you reached out as I did have to adjust my board but had plenty of time to do so.
I would vote on any proposal entered as a poll. I had some comments on the kicker rule a month ago, mainly I just didn't like more negatives for a missed FG, I think the -3 for missed PAT is enough, but agree with everything else.
Regarding the money, what is the collection/payment process this year? And assuming still $110 until otherwise voted on but do believe it is probably a little late to vote on that one this year with Cuts already made.
Also, with everybody wanting to up the league buy in I am honestly really confused....is this for fun or is this for money and a trophy here? Maybe I just play with what would be $200 a little different out of my pocket investment wise. Just saying that if we are going to up the ante let's at least stop calling it "fun"...it's a competition for money at the end of the day guys. Not against it or some other things put forth, but let's start calling it what it is please. It's a bunch of friends gambling in order to try and win money and a trophy. And we can't put things up for vote with less than 48 hours to go. We gotta do that in the offseason not on or right before draft day. Thanks and enjoy the season everybody.
Good luck out there!
So since you put it here and seem to think I am the one wrong here. Where did I personally insult you exactly? All I did was call out the time stamps and point out that some of us are way busier than you are and yet we still got this right. But I am wrong for pointing out that a vote was done, past a very clear deadline and your being GIVEN back a player you should have been made to redraft under the league rules. And that is me attacking you personally how exactly? Honestly, this is backwards here…all I did was point out the facts and then vote no. If anybody is being attacked personally here it's me, but yeah let's go on you guys facts it's all good. On to the season already. Thanks all.
Stacy, I am not quite sure what's going on with you as of late but honestly, your tone/attitude isn't appreciated. This is supposed to be a fun league between old friends. I'm here to have a good time and keep in touch with a group of guys that I've been playing against for decades in the hopes of having the Ninjas name appear again on the Hammer trophy. I'm all for some good banter but personal insults are not cool.
In regards to the rookie and IR FA protection - Robbie had brought it up and I had agreed - we should be able to remove the FA protection from Rookie and IR players on our own team if we don't want them protected from FA. For instance, I had Jamaal Williams on IR and come FA I didn't want to protect him and then ended up cutting him from my roster. In addition, I cut several rookies from my roster on my 20 man cut. So if we plan to cut the player or have no interest in protecting them, they should be a part of the FA cuts. Currently, if a protected player is picked in FA, then another number is pulled until an unprotected player is picked to be dropped as a FA. Robbie's suggestion would just allow us to unprotect players (Rookies or IR) we don't want on our rosters and open them up to being a FA pull.
I think its a good suggestion and I would like to bring it for a vote prior to the draft if its not too late.
In addition, I would also like to vote on a new scoring system for Kickers if its not too late.
I am assuming that the league buy in is too late to vote on but would like to propose it for the next time we can vote on it.
“Un protect rookie and IR players before FA”….doesn’t even make sense. Why don’t we just go back to rookie and franchise players if rookies aren’t protected after their rookie season….kinda defeats the purpose of protection doesn’t it?
All good here to play.. Thanks all.
Did these ever go to a vote? I wanted to bring back the ability to unprotect rookies and IR players also - before FA ... Are we voting on new things or do we now have to wait?

Proposal 2: Kicker Scoring -- we give way too many points to the most random position.
Current scoring:
1 pts for 1 to 20 yd FG2 pts for 21 to 25 yd FG3 pts for 26 to 30 yd FG4 pts for 31 to 35 yd FG6 pts for 36 to 40 yd FG8 pts for 41 to 45 yd FG10 pts for 46 to 50 yd FG12 pts for 51 to 55 yd FG15 pts for 56 to 60 yd FG20 pts for 61 to 999 yd FG1 pts for each made PATMissed FG = Not Used
-3 pts for each missed XPProposal -- let's keep it simple....3 points for every FG up to 40 yards, 4 points for 41-50, 6 points for 51-60, 8 points for 61+. But minus 3 for every missed FG or XP.

I have fixed honest miscuts in offseason for team owners since league was founded. This was legit. And have always posted them to league with full transparency. This affects very little of anything for league, draft, and competitive fairness.
Co Commish agrees and majority of league.
Dell is back on Ninjas and intended cut of Brandon Stephen's DB Bal has been processed.
Please pay attention to avoid this in future.

It was an obvious mistake. She’s not asking to drop a player who was injured after cuts. No one is going to be hurt by allowing the change. I say give back Tank Dell.
REDSKINS wrote:I'm fine with correcting what was obviously a mistake and giving Liz Dell back.
I made an honest mistake years ago not yet fully knowing the rule and was punished for it. Part of that was I lost the player too. If she gets to knowingly make this mistake and get her player back with ZERO punishment I call full BS here for the record. There is no way she should get this player back it is way past the deadline and it is a flagrant violation of the league rules if it happens. Thanks.
I'm fine with correcting what was obviously a mistake and giving Liz Dell back.
Wow...that basis still holds no water compared to the written and agreed to league rule Liz. You should not be allowed to make the change. It is against the rules. Thanks.

Now you can not like that all you want, but my opinion was asked, has been given and the commissioners office can do what they want from there. If they choose to allow you to very clearly break a league rule based on a democratic vote then what is the point of the rules?

Honestly this shouldn’t be a big deal. I’ve never ever asked for any exception in the decades I’ve been in this league, have always paid on time, hit all the deadlines, engage in the draft, submit a line up every week and feel like I’m an active owner.
I don’t work for the government but I do juggle being a single mom with 3 kids and running a household so I make mistakes. Doing it on my phone, despite to 2 step process, proved to allow me to make a mistake.
If anyone has a concern that I’m somehow trying to cheat or get away with something after all these years, then this isnt the league for me. It’s honestly insulting after all these years. As if I would drop Tank Dell and keep another DB.

Did she not review her players before she confirmed removal? It is in fact a two step action. The time stamp of which was Sun Aug 11 3:34pm ET.
When did she notify you of this? Was it as soon as she made the drop or was it hours later possibly after seeing any news? Is there a time stamp of when she notified you please?
I work for the government....trust but verify before weighing in...thanks.
No offense but would need more data before voting either way.

Need league to weigh in. Liz clicked wrong player when she made cuts on Sunday.
Meant to cut Brandon Stephens and Dell.
If had been caught immediately, I would have just adjusted and let all know the error. As has been done before when folks catch.
I believe was, and I know was on honest mistake and inclined to fix it. But because its been a couple days past I want to ask league.

Division winner = $200 (x2 = $400)
