That is correct and I see the IR designation for Wright in the software. No deduction for that move.

Commish- double double moved Wright to IR and picked up Anders Carlson in his place. I believe no point deduction on this one.
Inactive Player Potential: Mike Evans may be inactive on Monday night. If that happens, I'd swap in Brian Robinson. If by chance, Robinson also goes inactive, the replacement player would then be Josh Palmer on Mon night.
Punt Returns are Special Teams play and therefore that would be a Defensive Score. That used to be the rub against people like Eric Metcalf who could score on ST but rarely scored as an Offensive Player.

I am sure this has been addressed before but I forgot the ruling. My WR scored a TD on a 54 yd punt return. Do I get WR points?

Killers are still looking to deal a few players. QB/RB or RB/WR combo or pair one up with a K. Shoot me your offers!
30 minutes into Sunday Morning games and Killers hit the Offensive Bonus. That might be the earliest that trigger has been hit! Woo hoo!
I'm with you Rams - if Sing and Staff were tearing it up, that might make sense, but it's not even close. Stafford's not even in top 250 he has no GPA :) - Doug

Dang DJ Moore... would have been a 2 point game and no OBonus if not for his measly TD. Ah, fantasy football.
Commish, why'd you rip off Lion n Steelin'? 😆

Congrats Mega! I thought I was a lock for the week and then missed the OBO because of Tyreek Hill. OMG Miami needs a QB!
Yes you did! Still might not win the week though. 10 minutes is a lot of game time in the Detroit shootout.

Makes sense with that explanation. I was looking at rushing TD of 20 is 10 pts.

Commissioner wrote:You learn something new every day! The NFL considers the hook & ladder lateral to Gibbs as an extension of the pass and therefore, its considered 20 passing yards, even though he does not get credit for the catch. In the NFL stats, its shows 0 receptions for 20 yards.
Our scoring for passing / receiving yards is 0-20 is 5 pts, 21-40 is 10 pts. Thus, the 5-pt TD.
Initially, I was incorrect that it was a 10-pt TD, it is a 5-pt TD. Here is what we have in the AFL Rule Book:
Passing and Receiving Touchdowns
1 - 20 yd 21 - 40 41 - 60 yd 61 – 80 yd 81+ yd 5 points 10 points 15 points 20 points 25 points You can find the 2023 and prior year AFL Rule Books under the "League" menu, then Archives.
On the League Home Page, you can also see a description of the play from our vendor with the scoring for both players as well.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hey. Couldn't respond just to you from phone app. In APAC last week and this. Flying home on Saturday. Let me look when I get to Dubai tomorrow at the overall impact. Possible trade for sure.
It looks like the vendor has updated the points for Gibbs and credited him with a receiving TD. 10 points for the TD and 3 pts for rushing yardage = 13 points. Let me know if there are more questions.

Commissioner wrote:The NFL site is showing it as a 20 yd TD off a lateral. We have our scoring based on yardage so it should be a 20 yd rushing TD and fall into our usual model. I'll keep an eye on the scoring and see what the vendor does overnight. Worst case - I can manually add the 10 pts for the scoring play.

The current scoring is wrong. Can we protest if it remains the same? Gibbs is who went into the end zone
WTF! In Week 2, Proxy puts up 33 pts on Thursday night against me. Week 3 Bling Bling throws down 26.5. If this keeps up, its going to be a very long season for Killers.
It was an exciting week. My game came down to the wire and I saw a few others that were nail biters.
Oh fuck, I just realized that if I moved Keaton Mitchel to IR it would not have cost a point to pickup a new player. The point cost me to tie!!!
Hi guys, I'll have the weekly commissioners note posted on Tuesday evening. Apologies for the delays!
Team Proxy takes the week with a whopping 125 against me. Nice job!
Good question. The rule was intended to be for "same team" situations where you have one player who will potentially be inactive in a later game and to avoid the late SOL player, you would designate one of your bench players to replace them in an earlier game.
In your case, you are trying to decide if a player on another team goes inactive, you want to activate the handcuff player. That is tricky and not an aspect that we discussed but I'm open to supporting that angle since handcuffs aren't always on the same team in our league. So if you can either post a note or email me and your competitor something like, "If CMC goes inactive, play Mason and bench X".
The second aspect of your message is that both team owners will be unavailable on Sunday. Life happens and we're here to have fun and with connectivity today, it should be rare. Casey may not have access on a flight to London, for example, so we should have a plan. I am open to an email / message board note that identifies 'no access' and here is a roster change that I'd like to implement if someone goes inactive at kickoff. If it's an extended trip (ex. Solo owner Rick might miss 2 weekends to climb Denali), and you submit a lineup for Week A, you can send me a note to identify your lineup for Week B and I'll make the updates. If there's an injury in Week A, inclusion of a contingent player would be helpful. If you have 2 QB on your roster and one goes down, its a no brainer but if you start 1 RB and he gets hurt, if you have 2 backup RB, you might not want me doing that coin flip - but that's how I'll handle it unless I can clearly rule someone out (Bye Week). Thus, the contingent player (and you'd probably want to do the same at WR!). Your other option for an extended leave? Find another owner in the league to be your proxy and let me know who they are. They can then tell me who to play for you. I'm open to both approaches.
Let me know if there are any questions.

Hey commish. Doug’s d I both traveling this weekend and may not be online. We have mason in currently and want to play him if CMC is out. But his game is late Sunday. In order to be compliant with the rule, do we put in the player that plays before mason in the lineup and then that guys gets replaced if CMC is not active Sunday night. ??
