It was an exciting week. My game came down to the wire and I saw a few others that were nail biters.

Oh fuck, I just realized that if I moved Keaton Mitchel to IR it would not have cost a point to pickup a new player. The point cost me to tie!!!

Hi guys, I'll have the weekly commissioners note posted on Tuesday evening. Apologies for the delays!

Team Proxy takes the week with a whopping 125 against me. Nice job!

Good question. The rule was intended to be for "same team" situations where you have one player who will potentially be inactive in a later game and to avoid the late SOL player, you would designate one of your bench players to replace them in an earlier game.

In your case, you are trying to decide if a player on another team goes inactive, you want to activate the handcuff player. That is tricky and not an aspect that we discussed but I'm open to supporting that angle since handcuffs aren't always on the same team in our league. So if you can either post a note or email me and your competitor something like, "If CMC goes inactive, play Mason and bench X".

The second aspect of your message is that both team owners will be unavailable on Sunday. Life happens and we're here to have fun and with connectivity today, it should be rare. Casey may not have access on a flight to London, for example, so we should have a plan. I am open to an email / message board note that identifies 'no access' and here is a roster change that I'd like to implement if someone goes inactive at kickoff. If it's an extended trip (ex. Solo owner Rick might miss 2 weekends to climb Denali), and you submit a lineup for Week A, you can send me a note to identify your lineup for Week B and I'll make the updates. If there's an injury in Week A, inclusion of a contingent player would be helpful. If you have 2 QB on your roster and one goes down, its a no brainer but if you start 1 RB and he gets hurt, if you have 2 backup RB, you might not want me doing that coin flip - but that's how I'll handle it unless I can clearly rule someone out (Bye Week). Thus, the contingent player (and you'd probably want to do the same at WR!). Your other option for an extended leave? Find another owner in the league to be your proxy and let me know who they are. They can then tell me who to play for you. I'm open to both approaches.

Let me know if there are any questions.

Hey commish. Doug’s d I both traveling this weekend and may not be online. We have mason in currently and want to play him if CMC is out. But his game is late Sunday. In order to be compliant with the rule, do we put in the player that plays before mason in the lineup and then that guys gets replaced if CMC is not active Sunday night. ??

Seriously. No need to make important decisions about rosters. Surprised we aren’t doing better
