To all Owners, FYI.
In our 35th year rule review, we will be revamping a few minor things aside from the scoring system. The below info will be in affect going forward and I wanted to get this up there so all owners know how to look at your players getting ready for this year's draft.
We will be tweaking the "PUP List" rule going forward and eliminating the ability to protect a player that is out for any reason other than being IR = OUT FOR THE YEAR according to the NFL team. No Team Positions will be included in this.
A good new interpretation of this old rule by the Mike of the Knights, Nick and Bob Homey brought out the fact that owners are getting an unfair advantage through the luck of the draw protecting extra players and then getting a boost in week 6 for your roster, and it is really apparent in players being suspended for being idiots or contract holdouts as an example.
As Mike also pointed out, we already have compensated for this with the 7/8/9 roster positions, which makes since.
You will have to decide on whether to protect that player and hold them in your protection list and you will be able to move them to your Teams IR roster for week 1 of the regular season or release them on cut down day. This will make the playing field fair for all and put a few more players into the draft pool that someone may be willing to take a chance on.

Hello all, I have some info from my yrly off-season Commish meeting with the Asst Commish to review and look at the status of the leagues going forward.
1-We will be tweaking the entire scoring system for the next off season (2025) to lower the average weekly scores. We started looking at the 1pt PPR vs .5pt PPR (and combinations for RB,RC and TEs) and ended up deciding to look at the entire scoring system. It is our intention to get the scores down some into the 50-60 range weekly. The exact changes will be posted before this years draft to ensure you have all the knowledge you need to go forward with managing your teams.
If you have any suggestions (realistic please) feel free to post for all to see. We know some of you have different perspectives on the scoring, and we will do our best to make it better, but also remember its the same for all of us, which is the built in guarantee of fairness......
These changes will also be applied to our sister league, Fantasy Trenches.
2-If there are any other league rules you would like reviewed for the upcoming or next year, please post your thoughts here, there's no bad idea, but please do not be insulted if its not applied. This will be posted in both leagues, but you do not have to post in both. One site will do for input to commish. We will be closing this suggestion window on July 4th. After that, the new plan will be posted for all, but remember it goes into affect the following year to be fair. thankyou
