If anyone is wondering…
I traded Nick for Ray Davis and cut him the same week. Which is typically against the rules.
I simply traded for him as Nick picked him up as dead weight to make sure we could finalize the trade of him giving me salary cap money for a pick. The site doesn’t have that feature. I had to trade him my pick for a 2025 13th round pick to make it so the site would swap the pick to him in mid-draft.
After the draft, Nick claimed Davis as a F/A then told me he’s the one to remove. So I facilitated the trade of his 2025 13th round back to him, for Davis.
Then I cut Davis.
Nick got his draft pick from me and I got the salary money.
Had to manipulate the system online a little. But it’s corrected.
Remember, if you trade for someone, they do stay on your roster for a minimum of 1 game week. I had to make this happen to make the trade take place in a moments notice during the draft.
This is something I asked the site about years ago. They won’t implement it unless there is a demand for it… trading cap money. I may just be unique in how I do this.
Just as long as everyone gets it. Let me know if there are any questions.
