Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore showed flashes of upside in his 2021 rookie season, but over the last two years, he has failed to make a significant impact. In his last 33 games with the Jets and Browns, he's hauled in 96 receptions for 1,086 yards and three touchdowns. Amari Cooper and Jerry Jeudy are likely locked into the WR1 and WR2 roles for quarterback Deshaun Watson, and Zac Jackson of the Athletic suggested Cedric Tillman will occupy the WR3 role. "It's my belief that the Browns plan to open the season with Jeudy in the slot and Cooper and Cedric Tillman out wide," Jackson wrote. "Jeudy can play outside, too, and Elijah Moore will also see snaps inside and outside." Moore is going well ahead of Tillman in 2024 fantasy drafts, and that might be a mistake based on offseason reports. Moore was once a potential top-24 dynasty wide receiver, but he is now trending toward fantasy irrelevance.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore played 366 slot snaps (18th-most) in his first season with the organization, but head coach Kevin Stefanski said he is lining up in different spots this offseason. After flashing upside and posting 538 yards and five touchdowns in 11 games as a rookie with the New York Jets, Moore has struggled to enter the fantasy radar over the next two seasons. In his last 33 games with New York and Cleveland, he's hauled in 96 passes for 1,086 yards and just three touchdowns. Amari Cooper should remain the clear No. 1 option in Cleveland's passing attack, and the team added Jerry Jeudy via trade with the Denver Broncos before free agency began. Second-year wideout Cedric Tillman and rookie wideout Jamari Thrash could also compete for snaps, so Moore becoming a more versatile pass-catcher will help his chances of staying on the field. While it's tough to completely give up on Moore in dynasty formats, it would be surprising if he becomes a weekly fantasy contributor in 2024.

Dynasty | The Cleveland Browns drafted wide receiver Jamari Thrash in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: The former small school prospect made good on his move to Louisville last season and may have slid under the radar a bit in the NFL Draft. The Browns still have an unsettled depth chart at receiver behind Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore and Thrash could be a late bloomer. While managers would need to be patient with him, he could make for a solid dynasty sleeper.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught both of his targets for 12 yards in a 45-14 loss to the Houston Texans in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday. Moore was quiet in Cleveland's disappointing loss, finishing behind Harrison Bryant and David Bell in receiving. The veteran wideout caps off an up-and-down first season with Cleveland with a career-high 640 receiving yards but just two touchdowns. Moore's numbers took a hit when Joe Flacco took over as quarterback as the veteran QB preferred concentrating his targets on David Njoku and Amari Cooper. Moore's numbers could improve in 2024 with Deshaun Watson expected to return to the QB1 spot next season as the two showed nice chemistry together in the early portions of the season.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore will head on the road to take on the Houston Texans in the first round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday. In Week 17, Moore was on his way to his best game in a Cleveland uniform before a concussion knocked him out of action. He is fully cleared from the league's protocol and will be good to go as Cleveland's No. 2 WR on Saturday. The Texans were shredded by Amari Cooper back when these two teams played in Week 16, so there's a chance that they focus their defense on making sure that doesn't happen again. If that is the case, Moore should have extra work sent his way as the Browns look to advance in the playoffs. Treat Moore as a solid WR3 in DFS contests this weekend.

Jan 8 6:50pm ET

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore was active for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals despite suffering a concussion in the Thursday night win over the New York Jets in Week 17. However, he was only on the field for six offensive snaps in the 31-14 loss to the Bengals and wasn't targeted at all by quarterback Jeff Driskel. The Browns were locked into the No. 5 seed for the playoffs in the AFC and chose to rest many of their key starters on both offense and defense, so it's really not a huge surprise that Moore wasn't on the field very much. The 23-year-old wasn't nearly as prolific as many expected him to be in his first year in Cleveland, although it was an improvement over his final season with the New York Jets. If Amari Cooper (heel) isn't ready for Saturday's wild-card playoff game against the Houston Texans, Moore could have a big role in Cleveland's passing attack.

Jan 7 11:40am ET

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (knee) is officially inactive for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals, while Elijah Moore (concussion) is active on Sunday. Both players came into the season finale as questionable to play. Moore suffered a concussion in last Thursday's win over the New York Jets but was able to clear the concussion protocols. The Browns are already locked into the No. 5 seed in the AFC for the postseason, so even though Moore is officially active for this one, there's a good chance he won't play the entire game, especially coming off a head injury just last week. Top wideout Amari Cooper (heel) will miss a second straight game as well, so fantasy managers should expect rookie Cedric Tillman and David Bell to get more playing time on Sunday with quarterback Jeff Driskel leading Cleveland's offense.

Jan 5 1:10pm ET

Cleveland Browns wide receivers Elijah Moore (concussion) and Marquise Goodwin (knee) are both listed as questionable to play on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Amari Cooper (heel) has been ruled out for the second straight game. The Browns are locked into the No. 5 seed in the AFC for the postseason, so Moore and Goodwin probably won't play all that much if they are actually active on Sunday morning. Moore suffered a concussion in last Thursday's win over the New York Jets, while Goodwin popped up on this week's injury report on Thursday. Fantasy managers in season-long leagues or DFS contests would be wise to stay away from Moore. Expect rookie Cedric Tillman, David Bell and James Proche II to get a lot of playing time this weekend as the Browns play out the string of the regular season.

Jan 4 11:10pm ET

Cleveland Browns wide receivers Elijah Moore (concussion) and Marquise Goodwin (knee) were both listed as limited in practice on Thursday. Moore was also limited on Wednesday after suffering a concussion in last Thursday's win over the New York Mets. Goodwin, meanwhile, was added to the injury report Thursday. The 23-year-old Moore is headed in the right direction to be available for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals, but with the Browns being locked into the No. 5 seed for the playoffs, Moore is a candidate to be limited on Sunday or held out entirely. And if he does play, he'll be taking passes from quarterback Jeff Driskel with Joe Flacco being rested. Goodwin hasn't been anywhere near the fantasy radar in his first year in Cleveland.

From RotoBaller

Jan 3 4:10pm ET

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol but he will take part in the team's practice on Wednesday. Moore still needs to pass through the league's concussion protocol later this week to be cleared to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Moore suffered a concussion in last Thursday's win over the New York Jets. The 23-year-old is clearly making progress, but with Cleveland having already locked up the No. 5 seed for the playoffs, they seem likely to rest any injured players like Moore. Even if Moore plays, he probably wouldn't play the entire game and would be taking passes from quarterback Jeff Driskel.
