Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Troy Franklin found paydirt for the second time in his career in the 38-6 beatdown of the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in Week 11 action, catching both of his targets on the day for 15 yards and the score. Franklin was one of four pass-catchers for the Broncos to haul in touchdown passes against a soft Falcons secondary to help the team get back over .500 at 6-5. His touchdown was his first since the Week 5 loss to the Chargers. The 21-year-old rookie out of Oregon has plenty of chemistry with quarterback Bo Nix from their time together in college, but Franklin, who is rostered in only 1% of Yahoo leagues, just isn't seeing enough volume to be a weekly starting option for fantasy managers. Franklin has only gone over two receptions once in 10 games and still hasn't eclipsed 50 receiving yards in 2024.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos tight end Nate Adkins, the team's backup TE, came out of nowhere in Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday to catch his second touchdown pass of the year. In the 38-6 blowout victory, Adkins caught his only target for a 12-yard touchdown score that put the Broncos on the scoreboard early in the first quarter. They would never look back, with rookie quarterback Bo Nix throwing for over 300 yards and a career-high four touchdowns. Adkins' first touchdown of the year came in the Week 8 win over the Carolina Panthers. The 25-year-old shouldn't be a waiver-wire consideration at all this upcoming week after his second score, as he now has only six receptions for 34 yards and two TDs on seven targets in 11 games in 2024. There's a good chance we won't hear from the second-year TE again.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele quietly had a strong performance in the 38-6 blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in Week 11, although he wasn't on the receiving end of one of rookie quarterback Bo Nix's career-high four touchdown passes. Vele finished with four receptions on five targets for 66 receiving yards. Both his targets and yards were second on the team behind Courtland Sutton. The 26-year-old seventh-rounder out of Utah has had some impressive moments in his first NFL season, and while his 66 yards were his second-highest yardage total of the year, he's also failed to reach 40 yards in five of his seven games. Vele will continue to develop alongside Nix but can't realistically be trusted in starting fantasy lineups as anything more than a boom/bust WR5/flex in deeper leagues.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Broncos quarterback Bo Nix completed 28-of-33 passes for 307 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in a blowout win over Atlanta. Dynasty Analysis: Wow. While much of the talk this year has revolved around Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, Nix is doing his best to hang with the best of the bunch and today was an absolute masterpiece,. It certainly looks like Sean Payton has found his quarterback and Nix himself is starting to look like a QB1 instead of a QB2 in the process. His dynasty value is clearly on the rise.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. stayed involved in the offense in Sunday's 38-6 blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11 after receiving a season-high seven touches in last week's loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. Mims caught both of his targets for 49 yards and his first touchdown of the year while also carrying the ball three times for a pickup of four yards. The 22-year-old, who also contributes on special teams in the return game, has given the surging Broncos offense a different dynamic the last two weeks, but his involvement hasn't been enough to really turn the heads of fantasy managers. That will especially be the case whenever Josh Reynolds (finger) returns from Injured Reserve. With quarterback Bo Nix spreading the ball around to a receiving corps that is suddenly ripe with options, Mims will continue to struggle to find weekly fantasy relevance.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie running back Audric Estime was a hot waiver-wire pickup heading into Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons after leading Denver's backfield in the Week 10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. However, Estime took a back seat to Javonte Williams in the 38-6 win over the Falcons, carrying the ball six times for only 16 yards and catching all three of his targets for nine yards. Williams finished with 13 touches for 87 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. The 21-year-old fifth-rounder from Notre Dame saw most of his work in the second half with the game already in hand. While Estime did not serve as the lead back on Sunday, he'll most likely work in tandem with Williams as at least the RB2 for the Broncos ahead of Jaleel McLaughlin moving forward. That will give him some low-end RB3/flex appeal in Week 12 versus the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had another highly productive day in the 38-6 blowout win over the visiting Atlanta Falcons in Week 11 on Sunday, setting team-highs in receptions (seven), targets (eight) and receiving yards (78). With Denver's offense improving greatly under the leadership of rookie quarterback Bo Nix after a slow start in 2024, Sutton has slowly risen up the receiver ranks in fantasy. The 29-year-old didn't have a single target in Week 7 against the Saints, but since then, he has 28 receptions for 370 yards and one touchdown on 38 targets. Sutton has only caught three TD passes in 11 games after going for a career-high 10 TDs in 2023, but because of the heavy volume as Nix's favorite aerial weapon, he is ascending to weekly WR2 territory. He'll have a great chance to continue his run in Week 12 against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey joined the party in the Week 11 win over the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, catching all four of his targets on the day for a season-high 52 receiving yards and his first touchdown of the year in the 38-6 laugher. It was a nice bounce-back performance after Humphrey had only two catches for 23 yards in the Week 10 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. Humphrey brings impressive after-the-catch abilities, so it was no surprise his touchdown catch came on a 41-yard reception to put the Falcons away late. He has seen additional opportunities in an improving Broncos passing attack since Josh Reynolds (finger) went on Injured Reserve, but Reynolds could be returning soon. At best, Humphrey will be a dart-throw WR5/flex in Week 12 when the team travels to take on the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.
From RotoBaller
After seeing only one carry in the Week 10 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams took over the backfield in the 38-6 blowout victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in Week 11. Williams finished with a team-high nine carries for 59 yards and a touchdown, adding four catches on five targets for 28 yards. Fantasy managers may have prematurely dropped Williams after his dud last week, but we can't completely blame you after the Broncos continually said rookie Audric Estime was in line for more work. We cannot write Williams off just yet in 2024, but Estime will continue to be involved in Denver's backfield after seeing nine touches for 25 scrimmage yards. The 24-year-old has 80-plus scrimmage yards in five of his last eight games and will be back on the RB3/flex radar in a plus Week 12 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had the best game of his young career and delivered for fantasy managers in the 38-6 blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in Week 11, going 28-for-33 for a season-best 307 passing yards and a season-best four touchdown passes. Nix was sacked only once for a loss of 12 yards and ran the ball twice for five yards. The first-rounder out of Oregon showed further development and took advantage of a soft secondary to put up one of the best fantasy performances by a QB in Week 11. He continued to spread the ball around nicely, with his TD passes coming to three different receivers and a tight end. The 24-year-old has tied the franchise record for TD passes for a rookie (14) and is quickly ascending as a fantasy asset, even in single-QB leagues. Nix will have more QB1 upside in Week 12 versus the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton ended up with seven receptions for a game-high 78 yards on eight targets in Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Fantasy Spin: As rookie QB Bo Nix has improve, so has Sutton's fantasy production. The receiver has 70 or more receiving yards in four consecutive outings, while posting six or more receptions in each of the games. Sutton has been a low-end WR1 in PPR leagues in the previous four outings, while he is a solid WR2 in all other formats heading into Week 12 in Las Vegas.
From TheHuddle
Denver Broncos FB Michael Burton ran twice for two yards in Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons, while adding a single catch for minus-2 yards on his lone target.
From TheHuddle
Broncos' QB Bo Nix passed for 307 yards on 28-of-33 with four touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Falcons.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey is 0% rostered in Yahoo fantasy football leagues and is not a recommended play for the Week 11 tilt in Denver against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Humphrey does have some impressive after-the-catch abilities, but Denver's offense just hasn't had enough firepower this year to really support another fantasy-relevant pass-catcher behind Courtland Sutton. The 26-year-old Humphrey only had two receptions (three targets) for 23 yards in last week's loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, and he's currently fourth on the team in receiving yards (211) on the year. Humphrey also has yet to find the end zone in 2024. He hasn't eclipsed 50 receiving yards in a single game despite seeing a bigger role on offense ever since the injury to Josh Reynolds (finger).
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele is looking to stay more involved in the Week 11 contest against the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday after catching his first career touchdown pass in the Week 10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Vele's 35 offensive snaps he played last Sunday were the most in his first six NFL games, and he caught all four of his targets for 39 yards and the TD. The 26-year-old seventh-rounder out of Utah is actually third on the Broncos in receiving yards (215) this year behind Courtland Sutton and running back Javonte Williams and he should continue to have a role with Josh Reynolds (finger) on Injured Reserve. The Falcons secondary is inconsistent and vulnerable, too, although the lack of consistent volume for Vele makes him hard to recommend for starting fantasy lineups. He's caught 22 of his 27 targets on the year for 215 yards and one TD.
From RotoBaller
After his one-carry Week 10 versus the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams just can't be trusted in starting fantasy lineups for a Week 11 tilt against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Williams had been Denver's primary backfield option through the first nine weeks, but rookie Audric Estime took on a bigger role last week with a team-high 14 carries on 26 offensive snaps. Estime is expected to continue to see more reps in the offense, which made the 24-year-old Williams drop-worthy in a lot of fantasy leagues this past week. Williams should be able to top just one carry against the Falcons on Sunday and should remain involved in the passing attack, but if Estime continues to lead the backfield moving forward, Williams' days of fantasy relevance could be at an end. He was a low-upside RB3/flex in fantasy before Estime took the lead last weekend.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie running back Audric Estime could be poised to be the Broncos' leading rusher for the second straight week on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. Head coach Sean Payton said before last week's loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs that the team was looking to get Estime more involved, but it was a surprise to see him lead the backfield with 14 carries for 53 yards, while Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin combined for three carries for 13 yards. The 21-year-old rookie is expected to continue to see more reps against Atlanta on Sunday, making him the best fantasy option in Denver's backfield as an RB3/flex. The bad news for Estime's fantasy value is he hasn't been targeted through the air over 47 offensive snaps in his six games in 2024, likely making him touchdown-dependent on the ground.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is on a heater over his last three games heading into a Week 11 matchup against the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Sutton was not targeted in a Week 7 win over the New Orleans Saints, but since then, he has caught 21 of his 30 targets for 292 yards and a touchdown in three games against the Panthers, Ravens and Chiefs. The 29-year-old has only three touchdowns through 10 weeks in 2024 after catching a career-high 10 TD passes last year, but his fantasy stock is on the rise with WR2 upside this weekend against a Falcons secondary that has surrendered the ninth-most half-PPR fantasy points per game to pass-catchers. Sutton averages 10.7 half-PPR points (tied for 29th among wideouts) but also ranks ninth with 77 targets, giving him a solid fantasy floor with plenty of volume as Denver's unquestioned WR1.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix has a nice matchup on his hands in Week 11 on Sunday against the visiting Atlanta Falcons. Nix has come a long way since a slow start to his NFL career and is averaging 16.6 fantasy points per game through the first 10 weeks, which ranks 15th at the position, right behind Patrick Mahomes. Not only has the Oregon product improved as a passer as the year has gone on, but he also ranks fifth among QBs with 290 rushing yards and four TDs. The Falcons defense, meanwhile is vulnerable, allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to QBs, including 17 touchdowns with seven interceptions in 10 games. They've allowed 223.4 passing yards per game, which is ninth-most in the NFL. Since Week 4, Nix has thrown 10 touchdown passes with only two picks. There's real QB1 upside for Nix this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos WR Josh Reynolds (hand), LB Drew Sanders (Achilles) and S Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 15, but were ruled out for Week 11. Also, S Brandon Jones (abdomen) was limited and is questionable and DE Zach Allen (elbow, rest) and P P.J. Locke (thumb) practiced in full and carry no designation.
