According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards was activated off the Injured Reserve list on Saturday. The 29-year-old wasn't relevant for fantasy managers before going on the shelf due to an ankle injury, amassing 38 touches for 113 yards in four games. While there's a chance he could get involved in Week 10 against the Titans, assuming he suits up, J.K. Dobbins, who has played relatively well this season, will presumably remain the top option out of the backfield. Still, with Dobbins seemingly always one wrong move away from an injury, Edwards could gain streaming potential at some point moving ahead. For now, keep him out of any fantasy lineup.

Nov 8 7:40pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards (ankle) is officially listed as questionable to return from Injured Reserve and play in Week 10 against the visiting Tennessee Titans. Edwards was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full on Friday. The former Baltimore Ravens RB has not played since getting injured in the Week 4 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. If Edwards is activated from IR on Saturday and plays on Sunday, he'll most likely be eased in as J.K. Dobbins' backup. In the four games that Edwards played in before his injury, he took a clear back seat to Dobbins in LA's backfield and was averaging a career-low 3.0 yards per carry on 38 rushing attempts. Edwards' impending return will mean less playing time for rookie Kimani Vidal as a change-of-pace option behind Dobbins.

Nov 8 2:30pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly is unlikely to make a significant fantasy impact in a Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans. Dissly was heavily involved in the Chargers passing game between Weeks 6 and 8, drawing 23 targets across the three games, but that was mostly due to other Chargers pass catchers missing time with injuries. In Week 9, with several pass catchers returning, Dissly saw just three targets and made two catches for a total of nine yards. He has yet to score a touchdown this season and shouldn't be relied upon as anything more than a non-zero floor tight end option. Most leagues will likely have at least one higher upside option on the waiver wire for this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 1:50pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer remains a risky fantasy option in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans. Palmer scored his first touchdown of the season in Week 9, but ended up totaling just two catches on four targets. That seems to be the role Palmer has settled into in this Chargers offense. He could occasionally come up with big plays but it won't be consistent enough to make him a reliable fantasy option. With D.J. Chark (groin) expected to return this week, Palmer could have even more competition in the passing game going forward.

Nov 8 12:40pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston will look to stay hot in a Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans. The sophomore pass catcher was forced to miss Weeks 7 and 8 with an ankle injury, but he came back in Week 9 and put up 118 yards and a touchdown, ending up as the overall fantasy WR6 with an even 20 fantasy points. This matchup may be a little tougher, as the Tennessee defense has been stingy against outside wide receivers so far this season. They are in the top third of defenses in terms of receiving yards and fantasy points per game allowed to outside wide receivers. The Chargers may focus more on passing to their slot receivers and tight ends in this one, but Johnston still will certainly have a role and is always a threat to score on a deep ball. He has a lower floor than usual this week, but a similar ceiling.

Nov 8 12:30pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has a tough matchup in Week 10, but should still be a solid RB2 option regardless. Dobbins is the overall RB13 in fantasy points per game, and the Chargers offense has run through him at certain points this season. He's coming off a big game in Cleveland where he scored 23.5 fantasy points and ended up as the week's RB6. The Titans defense is a bit more of a challenge, as they've held opposing running backs to the fourth-lowest rushing success rate and the third-lowest yards after contact rate as well. Still, with his heavy involvement and the Chargers generally heavily favored in this game, Dobbins should have his chances and is always a threat for the end zone.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 12:30pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Kimani Vidal is not an option in Week 10 fantasy lineups. Vidal has played a direct backup role to starter J.K. Dobbins this season, but Dobbins has been on the field for the vast majority of snaps and Vidal only gets a handful of touches per game, if that. With Gus Edwards (ankle) working his way back from IR, Vidal's small role could get even smaller soon. While Edwards isn't likely to play in Week 10, he could return the following week and push Vidal lower on the depth chart. Vidal should be rostered in deeper dynasty leagues, but can be left on most standard league's waiver wires at this point.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 12:30pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey is in a good spot to have a big game in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans. McConkey is the overall WR30 in fantasy points per game so far this season, and while he had a pedestrian Week 9 performance (8.9 fantasy points), he's still not far removed from his huge Week 8, where he was the overall WR2, putting up 26.1 fantasy points against the Saints. In Week 10, the rookie slot receiver will face the Titans defense, who has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing slot receivers. They've fared mostly well against outside receivers, so quarterback Justin Herbert could target McConkey even more than usual, who already has a 22.7% target share and a 27.3% first-read share. It could be a huge week for the rookie, but it will almost certainly be a high floor type of game at the very least.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 12:20pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will look to stay hot in a Week 10 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Herbert got off to a slow start this season but has been heating up since Week 7, coming in as the fantasy QB10 since then along with being first in the league in passing yards per game in that span. With the Chargers throwing more often and Herbert clearly feeling healthier, he's worked his way back into fantasy consideration after being clearly unplayable for the first few weeks of the season. In Week 10, he has an almost completely healthy receiving corps and will take on a Titans defense that has shown quite a bit of give, especially in recent weeks. Herbert is a solid QB2 with a nice floor and some decent upside as well.

Nov 7 10:20pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards (ankle) was limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Edwards' 21-day practice window to return from Injured Reserve was opened when he returned to the practice field on Wednesday, but he's not necessarily guaranteed to be active on game day this Sunday against the visiting Tennessee Titans. And when the 29-year-old does return to the Chargers' backfield, he's expected to return to the clear backup role behind J.K. Dobbins. Edwards had taken a clear back seat to Dobbins, his former teammate in Baltimore, in his four games played, averaging a career-low 3.0 yards per carry on 38 rushing attempts after putting up a career-high 13 rushing scores in 2023 with the Ravens. If Edwards gets the green light to return in Week 10 against Tennessee, he won't be a recommended flex play in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Nov 7 12:20pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark (groin) wasn't listed on the team's Week 10 injury report on Wednesday, meaning that he was able to put in a full practice. Chark was activated from Injured Reserve last Saturday but did not play in the Week 9 win over the Cleveland Browns. The fact that the 28-year-old is completely off the injury report to begin Week 10 preparation is a good sign for his chances of being active this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, though. It will be a boost to LA's receiving corps, but the former second-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2018 out of LSU should remain on the waiver wire in standard 12-team fantasy leagues. Chark has yet to play in 2024 and will be the team's WR4 behind Quentin Johnston, rookie Ladd McConkey and Joshua Palmer.

Nov 6 3:50pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said that the team opened the 21-day practice window on Wednesday for running back Gus Edwards (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve. While Edwards would be eligible to play in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans if he's activated from IR by Sunday's game, the Chargers now have 21 days to officially return him to their active 53-man roster. If the 29-year-old does enough in practice this week and is activated by Saturday, he'd be returning to game action for the first time since getting hurt back in Week 4. He hadn't really moved the fantasy needle this year in his first season with the Bolts after going for a career-high 13 touchdowns in 2023 with the Ravens. Edwards will likely return to taking a back seat behind J.K. Dobbins after averaging just 3.0 yards per carry on 38 carries and 113 yards on the ground in his first four games.

Nov 3 6:50pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (shoulder) only made two catches in a Week 9 win over the Cleveland Browns. Dissly has been dealing with a shoulder injury but came into the game without an official injury designation. He'd been very heavily involved in the passing game over the past three games, but with Quentin Johnston returning from an ankle injury, Dissly again faded into a support role at best. He was targeted just three times, making his two catches for nine yards total. Dissly could have some touchdown-dependent value in fantasy leagues going forward, but his brief stint as a TE1 is likely over.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:50pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer scored his first touchdown of the season in a Week 9 win over the Cleveland Browns. Palmer was targeted four times, making two catches for 63 yards. His touchdown came in the first quarter on a 28-yard pass from Justin Herbert to open the scoring. His other catch was a 35-yarder. Palmer seems to be settling into a role as a big-play wide receiver instead of the heavily targeted one many expected before the season. He'll be hard to trust in Week 10 despite a good matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:40pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (ankle) had a big game in his return to the starting lineup in Week 9. Johnston missed two games with an ankle injury but came back strong and looked good. He was targeted five times, making four catches for 118 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown was on a big 66-yard play in the second quarter. Johnston ended up leading the team in receiving yards and was second in catches and targets. He should continue to be heavily involved and could move into a consistent WR3 fantasy rank if the Chargers keep their offense going. They'll face the Tennessee Titans in Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:40pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Kimani Vidal continued in his clear backup role in a 27-10 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. Vidal carried the ball five times, gaining just seven yards total while not seeing a target in the passing game. Starter J.K. Dobbins scored twice in this game and recorded 16 touches, with Vidal again sticking to an occasional change of pace and backup role. On his own, Vidal won't have any real fantasy value, but if Dobbins were to miss time, Vidal would step into his role and skyrocket into the RB2 ranks.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:40pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey made five catches in a 27-10 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. McConkey led the team in targets with seven, and in catches with five. He was second in receiving yards with 64, behind Quentin Johnston. McConkey was once again the main first look for quarterback Justin Herbert and should continue to be a high-floor WR2/3 option throughout the season, especially in Week 10 with a game coming up against the Tennessee Titans.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:30pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins scored two touchdowns in a Week 9 win over the Cleveland Browns. Dobbins commanded the backfield once again, carrying the ball 14 times, gaining 85 yards and scoring twice. He added two catches for 20 yards through the air, catching both of his targets. His first touchdown was a 16-yard run in the second quarter and his second was a seven-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. Dobbins continues to be the clear three-down RB1 in the LA backfield, as Kimani Vidal was the only other Chargers back to record a carry, and he had only five. Dobbins and the Chargers will take on the Titans in Week 10, where Dobbins should again be in the RB1/2 conversation.
